Protests in Bangkok Thailand continue to escalate as citizens fight back throwing rocks and varies debris found on the street.
At least 41 people were left injured after clashes between protesters and police in the Thai capital, Bangkok. Protesters were attempting to reach parliament on Tuesday, where lawmakers were debating possible changes to the constitution. They hurled smoke bombs and bags of paint at police, who retaliated with water cannon and tear-gas solution. The proposed constitutional changes have been one of the core demands of the months-long protest movement. Others included reforms to the monarchy and the removal of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha - a former general who seized power in a 2014 coup.

In 1983 the super group Asia released a smash hit single "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes". The band is comprised of some very famous artists in Progressive Rock History...primarily from the groups of Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Yes.
John Wetton wrote this about his bandmate Geoff Downes. In a 1983 magazine interview, Wetton said: "He was going through a complete emotional turmoil over a girl about a year and a half ago, and I identified so strongly that I went home and wrote the song in five minutes. Boom! Sat right down at the piano and there it was. If anything's straight from the heart, that song is."
The song was released on Asia's ablum "Alpha" which peaked at #6 on the Billboard Album charts for 1983.

Genghis Khan was the founder and first Great Khan of the Mongol Empire, which became the largest contiguous empire in history after his death. He came to power by uniting many of the nomadic tribes of Northeast Asia. After founding the Empire and being proclaimed Genghis Khan, he launched the Mongol invasions that conquered most of Eurasia. These campaigns were often accompanied by large-scale massacres of the civilian populations – especially in the Khwarazmian and Western Xia controlled lands.
By the end of his life, the Mongol Empire occupied a substantial portion of Central Asia and China. Genghis Khan died in 1227 after defeating the Western Xia. By his request, his body was buried in an unmarked grave somewhere in Mongolia.

MMA-Präsident Fazal-ur-Rehman nahm an der Massenkundgebung teil und sprach zur Masse:
"Wir werden nicht zulassen, dass Du [Premierminister von Pakistan Imran Khan] Pakistan so regierst", sagte Fazal-ur-Rehman, der sagte, dass der Freispruch von Asia Bibi weitreichende Auswirkungen auf die pakistanische Gesellschaft habe.
Am Wochenende wurde eine der Schlüsselfiguren bei der Organisation der jüngsten Proteste Pakistans und der Führer der politischen Partei Tehreek-e-Labbaik, Khadim Hussain Rizvi, sowie Hunderte seiner Anhänger verhaftet.
Asia Noreen, besser bekannt als Asia Bibi, wurde 2010 zum Tod durch Erhängen verurteilt, weil sie angeblich während eines Streits mit Kolleginnen abfällige Bemerkungen über den Propheten Mohammed gemacht hatte. Der Streit entstand, nachdem sie für das Trinken aus dem Glas ihrer Nachbarn gerügt wurde, weil sie keine Muslimin ist, heißt es in Berichten.
Bibi hatte die Vorwürfe zurückgewiesen. Sie verbrachte die meiste Zeit der letzten acht Jahre in Einzelhaft in der Todeszelle. Der Oberste Gerichtshof Pakistans hob ihre Verurteilung im Oktober jedoch aufgrund mangelnder Beweise auf. Infolgedessen kam es zu Massenprotesten von Islamisten, die den Tod der Frau fordern.
