I figured out that the average US bank has on deposit $3.55 billion. If they get 2% annually on it, the annual income is $71 million. Add that to the income from loans where money is created out of thin air and the borrower has to pay that to the bank, plus interest. Wealth transfers from borrowers to banks. Australia has been demonetizing its currency for years. Now, Macquarie Bank, Australia's 5th largest bank with a market cap of 69 billion dollars and over a million customers is making all transactions digital, phasing out cash, check and phone payments in 2024.
2024 is also the year countless CBDCs are to be released worldwide by different governments.
The IMF said back in 2018 that they expect many banks and nations in general to cut out cash by 2025. Mainstream media in Australia has reported in recent days that Australia will be functionally cashless by 2025 and entirely cashless by 2030.
This also completely fits into the World Economic Forum's goal of a cashless world in 2030.

Tom welcomes back Precious Metals Broker Bill Holter to discuss the current state of the US economy, the precious metals sector, and the ongoing sovereign debt crisis. He points out how, as a result of higher rates, the available collateral is shrinking - rates are now back to 2001-2002 levels and an affordability crisis is rapidly unfolding in real estate, a large part of the economy. Although these consequences are not yet being priced into the stock market, the real economy will suffer. He then discusses the risk of default in the futures market for gold and silver, and doubts the validity of the US' gold reserves; however, he does believe there is gold that could be mined in the US. Lastly, he explains why the government and the Fed will probably choose to take the easy way out by printing more money to cover obligations - this will ultimately destroy confidence and the dollar.

Today, Daniela interviewed Robert Kiyosaki, bestselling author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, who asserts that the global de-dollarization trend signals that a return to a gold standard is inevitable as long as these foreign adversaries remain unified. Mr. Malone is right about that but incorrect about us already having digital currency. Right now we have 'electronic currency', not 'digital'. CBDC will be fully digital and programable. The digital aspect will be the foundation of the currency and the power to control and program it will rest with the government and the Central Bank.
Government will be able to record and control every bit of CBDC you have, monitor where you spend it, turn on and off the ability to buy certain items on an individual level, track your movement, put expiration dates on it to encourage spending and dissuade saving, freeze and seize your money, devalue it at will and more.
I would expect that if CBDC is adopted, Bitcoin will explode in value and become highly desirable. People will lust after a BTC currency that has zero government control over it, can be spent anywhere at will, cannot be inflated, and becomes more scarce and valuable over time. The exact opposite of CBDC.

When they closed the account of Nigel Farage, they messed with the wrong guy! He has a huge following and when he received thousands of emails from others whose accounts were closed, he went on the warpath and counter attacked! This guy has political clout! It's disgusting that banks would take this approach to closing out accounts on a political or belief basis. They want control over what we say. The Soviet Union tried that! 74 years of it! Can we endure 74 years of this worldwide regime? It's a return to the dark ages. People were much freer in the Dark and Middle Ages. Heretics of the Catholic Church were killed! That's what is in store for us, if something isn't done. Find truth and spread it! Eight billion of us have power, but not unless we use it! There is no free speech in China. There is no longer free speech in the West. Will this move by Coutts push people to bitcoin and the Lightning Network? I hope so! As soon as companies begin taking bitcoin, the banks will go down in flames! I would rather have a money system that does not include central bankers!
