Rear brake pad replacement on a 2003 Mercedes C230 Kompressor

Before I can find the air leak, I have to be able to pressurize the air system without starting the bus. So, will the air regulator be able to take an NPT adapter? Or do I have to take more drastic steps?
Also, be careful with opening panels, bay doors and skirt doors.
Once I find the air pressure regulator, it becomes obvious I have to remove it, and that is a pain in itself. Right next to the regulator is the air antifreeze pump, which is beyond dirty and gross. It has to come off for a good cleaning.
It will be easier to see where I can add air in the bus while these parts are removed. Plus did I mention cleaning them?
So, I try removing the fittings, one by one, and they aint budging! So its up to the penetrating oil to help out. Just be careful as there could usually be a lot of air pressure in the system.
Watch to see just how bad “air” can look. Talk about chunky!
While I work on the regulator, its important to seal off the rest of the air system so moisture doesn’t go inside! But no victory comes without a cost…as I tear off a piece of rusted out sheet metal, leaving a giant hole! Oh, wow!

Even though it’s pretty cold here in my garage, I’m going to remove the booster and pedal assembly from my Audi A6 2.7T Donor car.

This time lapse video is just for a bit of fun. I thought you might enjoy watching me run around at 8 times normal speed. If you want a more detailed video on how to remove these items from an Audi A6, then please watch my earlier video. Thanks.

This Audi donor car is still stuck in my carport, I removed the pads from the rear brakes in the last episode, but it’s still stuck.

The front brakes seem to be binding, making it impossible to push the car around so I can remove the near side doors.

There’s nothing for it, I’m going to have to drag the car onto the drive and do something so those front wheels can spin freely.

Eventually I will get it in my garage so I can use the parts for my DIY Supercar.

Because I can’t jump start this donor car anymore, and the brakes are seized, it’s still stuck in my carport. Things still didn’t go to plan, but we are moving forward, slightly.

This Audi donor car has been stuck in my carport for over 2 weeks now. There’s no putting it off, I’m going to have to get dirty and try unseizing the handbrake… for a second time. Eventually I will get it in my garage so I can use the parts for my DIY Supercar.

This was supposed to be a nice simple video, where I would unseize the rusty brakes and turn the car around, ready to remove the near side doors. But oh no, it didn't go well!
