Rocket Robin Hood is a Canadian program and Krantz Animation is the same studio that produced 1967 Spiderman. The voices are also Canadian and the same voices from Spiderman. Paul Soles and Bernard Cowan also appear on the Canadian show, Wayne and Schuster Comedy Hour.

As for this episode, it's here as an example of the evil quest for eternal youth and the side effect being . . . . . . wait for it . . . . . having to live in darkness.
