An arrangement for the usual Piano Quintet line-up of the popular Trout Quintet, this being the fourth movement of the Piano Quintet in A, D.667, Op.114.

Why the unusual arrangement in the first place?

Rather than the usual piano quintet lineup of piano and string quartet, the Trout Quintet was written for piano, violin, viola, cello and double bass. The composer Johann Hummel had rearranged his own Septet for this combination and the Trout was written for the group of musicians coming to play Hummel's work.

Trio élégiaque No. 1 in G minor is a composition for piano, violin and cello by Sergei Rachmaninoff. The trio was written on January 18–21, 1892 in Moscow, when the composer was 18 years old. The work was first performed on January 30 of the same year with the composer at the piano, David Kreyn at the violin and Anatoliy Brandukov at the cello. It waited until 1947 for the first edition to appear, and the trio has no designated opus number. Rachmaninoff wrote a second Elegiac piano trio in 1893 after the death of Tchaikovsky. (Wikipedia)

Nothing but respect for this man and may his music live on and thrive in these times when we need it. From St. John's Passion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSv7SkXmhFI

Not sure if true, but rumor has it that bitchute has been doing some censoring on their end. Lbry seems to be a good solution for controversial things bitchute won't allow. Come and join me there, read how it works. It's supposedly decentralized so according to them, nothing can really be censored. https://lbry.tv/$/invite/@MycoMusician:0
