First scenes of community devastation in Oregon rolling into the news media today... and the climate change rhetoric again gets ramped up by squeaky-toy politicians and news reporters distort fire reality to 3,000 degrees. Sorry kids, 2,000 degrees F is the maximum temp in a densely wooded crown fire, and a house fire would be at least a few hundred degrees less than that.
