With all the fuss around the crashing American (that’s where I live) economy, it’s time to coin this term: Depression Era Cuisine officially. I have no doubt this will be done by some world-known chef but who cares? We are jumping the gun by doing this now on September 26, 2022. I will leave a list of links to my Pinterest boards I think you may find useful.
For the last six to seven months the United Nations has been warning of a potential famine. There are a few items that will be in short supply. Sriracha is one of them apparently. Yes! I will give you a link to a homemade Sriracha sauce. You’re welcome. This is just an example of one item that has become an American addiction. Like Salsa in the 1990s. Seriously though we have got to get people to see what’s in front of them before they are at our door say, “why didn’t you tell me?”. I have been preparing for the last three years. I wish I’d been prepping for years but better late than never.

I came up with a new meal/food idea a few days ago and I've called it a Imperial Pizza and it's Double, triple and quadruple Imperial Pizza variants, it doesn't seem anyone else has tried this so it seems like I've invented the meal. You can have a Imperial pizza (that is a Imperial pizza with only one topping) from as low as £2.20 but of course a high quality Quadruple Imperial Pizza with a good quality pizza, good quality tomato sauce, pasta, ravioli, salad and prawns would be quite expensive. An Imperial pizza is a pizza that has lots of tomato and chilli sauce poured all over it with toppings of either pasta, ravioli salad or prawns but it has to have one of these toppings for it to qualify as an Imperial pizza otherwise it's just a saucy pizza which is a pizza that simply has the tomato and chilli sauce poured on it.

If you order sweet and sour pork from a Chinese restaurant, then you might remember that the pork is often heavily fried in oil before tossing with the sauce. In this recipe, the pork is fried in a very small amount of oil. The sauce is a little lighter than the restaurants deliver too.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound pork tenderloin (trimmed of fat), cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup granulated white sugar
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 tablespoon peeled, minced fresh ginger
2 medium garlic cloves, minced
1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
One 8-ounce can pineapple chunks (in juice), drained and each chunk cut in half
steamed rice, for serving (optional)
chopped scallions, for garnish (optional)

Today, learn how to cook a Vegetable Tofu Spring Rolls with easy Ingredients:
●Tofu 3 pieces
●Ground meat 200 grams
●Carrots 3 pieces
●Potato 3 pieces
●String beans
●Soy sauce 4 tbps.
●Black pepper
●Oil
●Spring roll wrappers
Procedure:
●Heat the pan then put the oil.
●Add the meat.
●Add onions and garlic and saute.
●Add the carrots and potatoes the cook for 2 minutes.
●Add the String beans.
●Add a pinch of ground Black pepper then the Soy sauce.
●Mix and cook until every ingredients is done.
●Fry the tofu. Make sure to sliced it into 2 portion for easy and faster cooking.
●Sliced the tofu into strips.
For wrapping
●Put the mixed vegetables into the Spring roll sheet.
●Put the sliced tofu.
● Roll it gently and sealed with a water.
●Fry and Ready to Serve.
Yield:
25 pcs.
