In 1971, hundreds of young people claimed the 85 acres of an abandoned 17th century military base in Copenhagen and set up a community. Over the next 40 years, they build a self-governed community with the hope of becoming legitimate.
Finding it politically unpopular to evict the settlers, the Danish government declared Christiania a "short-term social experiment". Following 40 years of tense relations with the government, much of it focusing on the open hashish trade, Christiania is on its way to becoming a legitimate community.

There is only one question that all persons must ultimately answer, regardless of how they may seek to hide or avoid it. Where they stand or moral issues determines how they answer the question. This question is tied to our maturation and is only asked of adults and is the sole factor determining if a person is an adult or not. Incidentally, it is the question that confirms one is a Christian or a member of a religion. At some point, the moral substance of the individual is confronted by an issue he would not confront as a child. A situation brings him or her face to face with a dilemma and he is required to answer to himself and his God, where do I as a human being, draw the line? What you answer defines you for the rest of your life.

In July 2022, Chelmsford City Council removed elected members, in the minority right of reply at Cabinet meetings. The very place we should be free to ask questions and scrutinise the privilege few that have access to all the council information and make decisions for the public, an Independent can ask two questions but may not challenge the answer if the question is ignored or misunderstood. A HUGE STEP BACKWARDS FOR DEMOCRACY.
Polly Tommey of CHD.TV opened the session by introducing Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, a medical doctor, former politician, and expert on public health and pandemics, who spoke about the foundations of democracy, the mechanisms of its erosion, and core principles for rebuilding democratic governance once again.
Dr. Wodarg shared a formula for resilient democracies centered around transparency as a function of societal size and complexity. Transparency, he stressed, is the critical ingredient for safeguarding democracy, such that governance occurs in the interests of citizens rather than those in power. With a near-total absence of transparency in our vast and immensely complex global societies and organizations, Dr. Wodarg noted that we were witnessing “almost everything institutionally corrupted.”
Catherine Austin Fitts and Dr. Meryl Nass joined Polly Tommey and Dr. Wodarg to discuss his presentation. Catherine Austin Fitts encouraged viewers to realize that the things we do, and the actions we take, are much more powerful than many people realize. In “everything you think and everything you do,” she said, “say no to darkness and yes to light.”

Whenever you ask yourself, why is corruption so obvious, and yet nothing ever seems to be done? Or, why does it never work to report malfeasance and criminal activity to, what we believe to be, lawful authorities? These questions would stand in recognition of an old system, which was estabilished again, after being destroyed, and will likely persist into the future. This system is based off of control around cowardice, and takes root in the desire to "change human nature." Specifically, the child-centered institutions of today seek to modify behavior through controlling and modifying our environment. Today, it seems like the deck is always stacked against us; a situations that many of our ancestors have faced. Furthermore, we are trained to recognize the legiticmacy of illigitmate entities, and just stand-by, when we see atrocities happening in front of our own faces. This is the program of training, which makes all of us into cowards. It is often referred to as "modern democratic society."
