What does the Bible say about knowing someone by their fruits?
The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is a biblical term that sums up nine attributes of a person or community living in accord with the Holy Spirit,
according to chapter 5 of the Epistle to the Galatians:
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. ...

In eastern Nevada, there is a Gosiute story that this cave is a gateway to an other world with lush fields and many usual animals. Access is not always available to enter this other world, but it is told that a strange people live in there and will take prisoner and make slaves of any who dare to intrude on their realm.

The deserts hold their water a secret and well out of sight. Many times one needs to search for the water, and when one finds it there is no guarantee that it is drinkable. Now there are many different types of water sources in the desert, here I will show three types that are found.
NOVA explores the mysterious ecosystem of the desert: a snowstorm; a lashing summer monsoon; and the emergence—in a pool created only minutes before—of a pair of adult spadefoot toads. Toads who had been waiting beneath the sand for a year for this brief and fortuitous moment to procreate the next generation...

For more than 15 years, cameraman and ecologist John D. Liu has been working on his worldwide mission to green deserts and to restore biodiversity.
It all started in 1995 when Liu filmed the Loess-plateau in China. He witnessed a local population who turned an area of almost the same size as The Netherlands from a dry, exhausted wasteland into one green oasis. This experience changed his life. From that moment on, Liu has been travelling all over the world to convince and inspire government leaders, policy-makers and farmers with his film material and knowledge. Liu diligently spreads the message that restoration of ecosystems is not only possible, but also economically very meaningful.
Backlight accompanies Liu on his mission in Jordan and shows on the basis of Liu’s own film material that a green future is possible worldwide.

SNOWING IN THE DESERT ITS NOT SUPPOSE TO SNOW HERE END OF BIBLE
Been unable to find much about this mine. But from what was left at the site it shows that it was in operation in a very small scale from the 1930s into the 1950s. It was such a small production that this impressive talc mine used burros or mules to haul the ore down to waiting trucks.
With this trip I have finished exploring all the mines that I have not visited in this old Silver mining district.

In a lonely canyon that no one visits, hides a gold mine along with a small camp which dates from 1911. At the mouth of the canyon is a prehistoric cave shelter which looks to have also been used by the prospectors in the region. Now, it is home to birds and bats. #prehistoric #mine #historic #explore #abandoned #decay #ruins #desert #deserttrails
My trip to Mongolia went through the Gobi Desert and off-road to the only city - Ulan Bator and was as extreme as possible. How people live in a country where there are still only 3 asphalt roads throughout the country, many live in the middle of the desert with camels. In order not to freeze in winter, some have to dig homemade artisanal mines, from where they sometimes do not return. Trees in this country hardly grow. I have visited the desert, mine, yurt and the largest city - the capital Ulan Bator.

Video - En Gedi : Living Water In The Desert
Channel - HolyLandSite.com
1. En Gedi is located on the west side of the lower Dead Sea area about 11 miles (17 km.) north of Masada on Hwy. 90.
2. It’s a beautiful oasis fed by a large spring in a barren, dry place.
1. En Gedi was inhabited by the Canaanites during the time of Abraham and Lot.
2. The Dead Sea basin was once like a Garden of the Lord.
Genesis 13:10–12: Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the valley of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere—this was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah—like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go to Zoar. 11 So Lot chose for himself all the valley of the Jordan, and Lot journeyed eastward. Thus they separated from each other. 12 Abram settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot settled in the cities of the valley, and moved his tents as far as Sodom.
3. Due to the abundant water supply, the village by En Gedi Park has had a long history of habitation from ancient days to the present.
4. Today, this area is extremely dry, and En Gedi is an oasis of living water in the desert.

En Gedi in the Bible
1. En Gedi was used in a love poem in the book of Song of Solomon.
Song of Solomon 1:14: My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blossoms in the vineyards of En Gedi.
2. In the Millennial Reign of Christ on earth, God speaks of how He will change the Dead Sea region once again to be like a garden due to a supernatural river that will flow from Jerusalem.
Ezekiel 47:9–10: And wherever the river goes, every living creature that swarms will live, and there will be very many fish. For this water goes there, that the waters of the sea may become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes. 10 Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From En Gedi to Eneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.
3. En Gedi was one of David’s main hideouts when Saul was pursuing his life.
1 Samuel 23:28–29: So Saul returned from pursuing after David and went against the Philistines. Therefore, that place was called the Rock of Escape. 29 And David went up from there and lived in the strongholds of En Gedi.
4. En Gedi is a perfect example of living water in the desert.
The Israelites were a desert people whose whole history was related to the desert. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, along with the Israelite’s time in Egypt, and their wandering in the desert for 40 years, all took place in a desert. Also, much of Israel is a desert as well.
The Israelites fully knew that living water meant life and survival.
5. God used the desert and living water as examples of judgment upon Israel.
Jeremiah 2:12–13: Be appalled, O heavens, at this; be shocked, be utterly desolate, declares the LORD, 13 for my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water.
6. God used desert imagery to show how those who abandon Him are like a parched desert without water.
Jeremiah 17:5–8: Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD. 6 He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.
7. Christ referred to Himself as the source of living water.
John 7:37–38: On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
Deep in a canyon sits this little corporate mine with an unknown past. Records are few and far between so there is no production totals of the mine. What is known is that it was a gold mine and the host rock was granite.

On this journey I will take you to a ancient rock shelter which was used first by the early peoples, then by the Pauite and Shoshone when they arrived in the region around 1100CE and as late as 1930 when miners, who worked a local mine, used it as a home until the mine company built them a mining camp.

The history of this site is lost to history, with only a small amount is known for certain. Hardly any tailings remain at the mill, so it is difficult to decipher what was processed or how much. No statistics of production are known to exist.
The site today is in tremendous condition, though not much remains of the mill. One of the best items that remains at this extraordinary picturesque locale is that of a 1946 Pontiac Streamliner with most of the fixtures till in place along with most of the flat-head inline 8 cylinder engine.
This is part two of the Ibex Spring area. The Moorehouse Mine is a very large talc mine that was discovered in the early 1930s and was in operation until the late 1960s.
If you want to learn more about the area, the Death Valley National Park has a really good history of the region and can be found at:
Next to two springs high in the mountains, the Beck Ranch was used to raise Morgan horses. The cabin was built from railroad ties in 1941. The railroad ties came from the Tonopah and Tidewater which ceased operation in 1940. The ranch was in operation until the late 1960s.
The Cleveland Mine was a small, family owned and operated mine. From the looks of the tunnel they did not produce much, but from the amount of whiskey, beer and wine bottles, they did drink a lot when up at the mine.

DUST STORM IN ARIZONA DESERT
There is trouble in the Sheikdom of Aburra on the Persian Gulf. Tabul, its young leader who recently studied at Center Neptune, has been overthrown and his uncle, Ajeeb, has taken control of the country. This is one of the most important oil producing nations on Earth and the G-Force is immediately called in to check out this dangerous situation.
I keep my portfolio on my iPhone. Sometimes, my phone will make a slideshow in the middle of the night, from some stuff that is in my portfolio.
It's a little disturbing that my phone does things without me telling it to, but these are usually pretty cool. Here's the first one it did, a couple of years ago, from a day of shooting along the Burr Trail in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and Capitol Reef National Park. I love the majestic music that it chose.
This is a video I created from royalty free pictures and videos to accompany a short composition of mine entitled "A Pink-Hued Desert Dawn". The audio is of its premiere by Vent Nouveau at the Listening to Ladies Concert in New York in April 2017. Many thanks to all concerned.

By evidencing the dramatic transformation possible in the world's worst agricultural scenarios, we hope to make people stand up and listen.
