In any populist movement grifters will spring up to make a quick buck.
Dr. Ben Tapper who was named as one of the Covid “Disinformation Dozen” joins Stew to discuss the cost of standing for truth.
The term “grifter” is rarely defined.
In short, a grifter is a person seeking to personally profit through fraud.
Sometimes it’s literal fraud, but a lot of it is more vague.
It’s a person who poses as a brave warrior for truth but is actually a coward.
It’s a person who fabricates problems so that they can milk donations from people.
It’s a person who promises big investigative scoops but never brings the receipts.
Dr. Tapper is not a grifter.
He first went viral for an appearance he made before the Omaha city council, where he opposed mask mandates.
Since then, Dr. Tapper has been censored, repeatedly.
However, Dr. Tapper and others are now fighting back and in June filed a lawsuit in federal court against the Trusted News Initiative, a partnership of major media outlets whose purpose was to impose narrative control and promote censorship of outlets besides themselves.
Recently, the Wall Street Journal reported that censoring the “Disinformation Dozen” actually cost American lives.
The government colluded with social media outlets and ordered them to censor.
This is a violation of the Sherman Act which concerns antitrust laws.
Elon Musk’s Twitter is now censoring Stew Peters and has permanently marked all of his tweets “sensitive”.
In June Stew’s Twitter account achieved 450 million impressions.
As of July he only has 1 million impressions.
This likely means Twitter will be locked down again close to the election and the WEF stooge Linda Yaccarino is doing exactly what she was hired to do.

The BBC is trying to target misinformation with fake Twitter accounts. They admitted as such with the launch of their project called Verity. That’s interesting because Twitter expressly forbids fake accounts but the BBC says that they are doing this to investigate conspiracy theories. The journalist who introduced this, Marianna Spring, says that she is trying to look into conspiracy theories such as those around Covid. She doesn't say which ones because most conspiracy theories have proven to be true conspiracies but she will let us know on her upcoming podcast called “Marianna in Conspiracyland."" Can't wait.
Meanwhile, reporter Max Blumenthal has shown that Spring was connected to British journalist Paul Mason and his plot to smear investigative journalists. He asked her if she ever followed through with these meetings on Twitter but she has not replied.
This project raises important questions: Should the media get involved in labeling “disinformation” or “conspiracies” or should they just do their job with better reporting? Who verifies the verifiers? Do these projects do more harm than good?

That’s interesting because Twitter expressly forbids fake accounts but the BBC says that they are doing this to investigate conspiracy theories. The journalist who introduced this, Marianna Spring, says that she is trying to look into conspiracy theories such as those around Covid. She doesn't say which ones because most conspiracy theories have proven to be true conspiracies but she will let us know on her upcoming podcast called “Marianna in Conspiracyland."" Can't wait.
Meanwhile, reporter Max Blumenthal has shown that Spring was connected to British journalist Paul Mason and his plot to smear investigative journalists. He asked her if she ever followed through with these meetings on Twitter but she has not replied.
This project raises important questions: Should the media get involved in labeling “disinformation” or “conspiracies” or should they just do their job with better reporting? Who verifies the verifiers? Do these projects do more harm than good?

China accuses U.S. of ‘disinformation’ over warnings it’s considering sending artillery and ammo to Russia
China on Monday accused the United States of “disinformation” and a “double standard”over warnings that it is considering sending Russia artillery and ammunition for its war in Ukraine.
Beijing is promoting peace talks while it is Washington that is stoking the conflict, the country’s foreign ministry said, after Western officials raised growing concerns about China’s intentions.
“On the Ukraine issue, China supports an objective and just position and actively promotes peace talks. The U.S., however, has been fanning the flames and fueling the fight with more weaponry” for Kyiv, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a regular news briefing, pointing to a peace plan China released Friday on the war's first anniversary.
“The U.S. has been spreading disinformation about China supplying weapons to Russia and using the allegation to sanction Chinese enterprises,” Mao said, describing this as a “double standard and the very definition of hypocrisy.”She added that Beijing had lodged stern representations with Washington after the Commerce Department on Friday blacklisted five Chinese companies it accused of providing assistance to the Russian military.
