B.T.S. Notes: I had been wanting to use Monster with Broly for some time, but as I brainstormed, I soon came up with the idea of matching the theme of the AMV with the duality often associated with Broly. Classic and Super Broly; Quiet Broly vs Tarzan Broly; Devil Broly vs Reluctant Giant Broly.
Some scenes that I wanted to use from the start include: The Mouth Beam during Skillet's scary "Feel Like A Monster" line, and the "Puny Saiyan" and "Ice Drag" scenes paired with the "Tear me up, break me down" line.
One critique that I will give myself, is how I could have avoided repeating footage, like with Super Broly grabbing his head in pain in the FighterZ Win Scenes. I should have worked on this AMV sooner than I did, and I could have flipped some of the scenes or faces to help with the idea of Broly's duality.

Revelation chapter 13
The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. 2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. 4 People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, 'Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?'
The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to wage war against God's holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast--all whose names have not been written in the Lamb's book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.
9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.
10 If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.' This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God's people.
Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.
Remember : Ephesians 6.11 and Phillips Put on God’s complete armour so that you can successfully resist all the devil’s methods of attack. For our fight is not against any physical enemy: it is against organisations and powers that are spiritual. We are up against the unseen power of great wickedness that controls this dark world, and spiritual agents from the very heart of evil. Therefore you must wear the whole armour of God that you may be able to resist evil in its day of power, and that even when you have fought to a standstill you may still stand your ground. Take your stand then with truth as your belt, righteousness your breastplate, the Gospel of peace firmly on your feet, salvation as your helmet and in your hand the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. Above all be sure you keep faith as your shield, for it can quench every burning missile the enemy hurls at you. Pray at all times with every kind of spiritual prayer, keeping alert and persistent as you pray for all Christ’s men and women.

"Time to Go" - 12x16" - Acrylic on Canvas -
After painting numerous landscapes and wildlife of the real world, I wanted to change things up and create a world of my own. I knew I wanted to include a dragon, but scaling him relative to the horse and rider was very challenging. I also wanted to include a princess with the “knight” but ended up having to take her out because the piece was getting too complicated. My favorite part was definitely adding the fire to the dragon and the light effects to the hero. In the future I would like to return to this “world” and create a story line to go with this painting!

Longer video this time and it's some Dragon Ball Fighterz! Hopped on a discord call and played with some friends, expect more fighting stuff in the future but I wouldn't say I'm locked to one genre :P. Still learning the ins and outs of OBS and Shotcut, after the next DBZ video will probably boost my mic up a bit; also still figuring out quality settings. Also: Welcome to 60 fps land :D.
PS: I welcome any tips OBS or Shotcut related, I've wound up enjoying editing more than I actually thought I would.

The Odin GeneOdin, sometimes Voden, Woden, Wotan, Votan or Wuotan, means “furious, inspired, mad” according to its Indo-European root. Germanic and Anglo-Saxon kings often traced their genealogy to the warrior-god, and he may also have been the namesake for Homer’s well-traveled, wizardly hero Odysseus. The Odin Gene is clearly a marker from the extreme north of Europe. It is minimally present in Africa, rare in Asia. In South Africa, 40.3% of whites have it, as against only 1.0% of blacks. Its high incidence in Miwok Indians could stem from their tribal land on San Francisco Bay having beaconed as a haven for European and other voyagers to resupply their water, repair ships and enjoy some shore leave with the local women. In Europe the leading populations carrying the Odin Gene are: Austrians, Belgians and Swedes (36%), Northern Irish (36%), Scots (34-35%) and English/Welsh (33%).

Now! Onto the Illustration or the “Fun Part”. Creating a dazzling rainbow dragon and using as many of these markers on this one piece as I could. Colored pencils work far better with markers than I would have thought. Sure, I liked the effects of a colorless blending marker with colored pencils but I never really considered using Ohuhu Brush Markers with Colored Pencils until recently.
I know the opening is a little odd. This isn't the first time a video of mine has had to have been altered due to “technical difficulties.” However, the end result is still there. These markers are amazing!
Please remember, during these rather difficult times, stay home when you're able, (resist the urge to browse out of boredom,) wash your hands regularly, observe social distancing, and do your part to ensure that we can get back to business as usual once again.
