Clearly flight 175 had two Pratt and Whitney JT9D-7R4D engines.
Take note of the engine type especially the cooling duct assembly is used on it. the murray street engine is NOT a JT9D-7R4D engine.
The name of the component in question is the HPT Stage1 Cooling Duct Assembly. This component was part of the early JT9D-7 series engines that were used in development of Boeing's 747 line of aircraft. The "7" series engines have gone through many revisions but are exclusively used on 747's. Many years later, P&W decided to work with NASA in the development in a new technology to improve engine performance and reliability. This improvement was made specifically to this section of engine. Tangential On-Board Injection (TOBI or "R" for Radial) was the newest improvement to reduce nozzle temperatures by over 2% which could open the door for a more powerful engines based on the "7" series engine. The new model of engine would be called 7R4+Revision Letter. The 7R4D engine is the one that is specified for United Airlines Boeing 767's.
The engine found at Church and Murray didn't seem to be a 7R4D.....it seemed to be a 7J. The only way to confirm this is to search for the engine and take a look at the diffuser casing to verify a match.
There are two data points indicating that the Murray Street engine is a Pratt and Whitney JT9D-7 series engine: the HPT Stage 1 Cooling Duct Assembly which the manufacturer indicates is for use ONLY with the 7 series engine, and we have the diffuser casing of the Murray Street engine matching perfectly the diffuser casing of a 747 engine --the model of Boeing aircraft that the JT9D-7 series engine was exclusively used."
All data so far seem to indicate that the Murray Street engine is not a JT9D-7R4D engine, as would have been on Flight 175.
American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower. Its tail number was N334AA. It was a Boeing 767-222ER. Flight 11 had two General Electric CF6-80A2 engines. the Murray Street engine certainly is not a GE CF6 engine from Flight 11
So how did a 7-series 747 engine wind up on Murray Street?
In which we go "drone fishing" and I get shot in the hand. The newly tree-dwelling quadcopter in question is a Hubsan X4 H107C. You can see it fall out of the tree at 10:28, but I didn't notice at first.
I made the unfortunate mistake of flying a tiny quadcopter on a fairly windy day, and through a combination of the wind being too strong and me getting confused about the quad's orientation in the air, it ended up living in a tree for a while. I did some research on methods to get a stuck drone out of a tree and some of them were pretty obnoxious, such as asking for a favor from the fire department. I'm not doing that over a $30 drone.
Fortunately, I soon found an excellent tactic for drone retrieval that could be done cheaply from the ground! Buy a slingshot, a large fishing sinker, and some really strong (50lb test in my case) fishing line, tie the sinker to the line, and slingshot that sinker onto the tree branch that's holding the drone hostage. From there, it's a matter of using the line to shake the tree branch until the drone falls out of the tree or you give up.
One more thing: in retrospect, I could possibly have saved my sinker since it wasn't wrapped around anything but it wouldn't come through the branch when I pulled. Simply spool out more fishing line until the sinker is within reach and cut the sinker off the end! Ah well, it's just a cheap sinker, so I didn't care too much.

I was flying my Rise Vusion 250 Drone in gusts of upto 25 mph. I got a a wind that got me into the trees. This is where Crital Thinking takes place. I could climb the tree fall and not get my drone. So I decided to take the saver route for me but not for my drone. I decided to use the drones motors to free its self. I had a feeling this would work because it hapoened to me before. I did not stop filming and decided to take it back up. Very reliable I must say. Sorry about the camera was very windy. My VTX reciver is fried so I had to record using the 5.8 ghz dvr lcd screen it came with. There is no sound but you can speed upto the crash at 2min and 20 sec marker.
Not sure what happened it seemed like I lost radio for a second. Causing my drone to do a major dive onto some gravel. . I made a follow up video for this one to show you how my drone looked after this crash. You wont believe your eyes.
