💥 Up to 40 Ukrainian troops, one armored personnel carrier, and two motor vehicles have been neutralized.
💥 In Krasny Liman direction, ground-attack aircraft and artillery of the Tsentr Group of Forces have hit units of the enemy close to Chernopopovka (Lugansk People's Republic), Terny and Troskoye (Donetsk People's Republic).
◽️ More than 60 Ukrainian troops, two armored fighting vehicles, and D-20 and D-30 howitzers have been neutralized in this direction during the day.
💥 In Donetsk direction, fierce battles are underway close to Artyomovsk. 🔥 Thousands of Christians throng Jerusalem for the traditional Holy Fire rite ahead of the Orthodox Easter, despite a security clampdown in the holy city.
❖ Every Orthodox Holy Saturday in Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulcher, thousands gather to witness a flame “miraculously” appearing in the tomb of Jesus.
Orthodox Christians believe it’s a potent symbol of the resurrection.
It’s the Church's most important miracle. And it’s believed to have been happening annually for the past 1,200 years.
The ritual begins with the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem (or another Orthodox archbishop), descending into the empty tomb of Christ within the church and reciting special prayers. A non-Orthodox Christian is also said to examine the edicule (a small structure surrounding the tomb) to make sure no oil lamps have been left burning inside that the patriarch could use to light his candles.
In the crowded church above the tomb and surrounding the edicule, the faithful chant with one voice “Kyrie eleison” (Lord, have mercy). The wait might be long or short but eventually a light is said to appear in the tomb where the patriarch has been praying alone. He then lights his candles from this miraculous flame and, accompanied by the pealing of bells, emerges to spread the fire among the crowd. The oncedark church becomes illuminated by the miraculous Holy Fire.
It is said that for the first several minutes the fire burns, but does not consume. During this time, many of the faithful bathe their faces and hands in the flame, apparently without being harmed. The flame is passed from candle to candle and then placed in lanterns so that it can be spread far and wide.

🔥 A deadly shooting that happened during an Easter egg hunt in Orlando is under investigation.
According to police, around 6:50 p.m. on Sunday, five people were shot at Poppy Park, a neighborhood off Raleigh Street in Carver Shores. Three of them have now died.
The victims are identified as 16-year-old Tristan Morgan, 33-year-old Patriza Deterville and 38-year-old Jamal Watson. An adult victim is in critical condition, and another suffered a non-life-threatening injury, according to police.
A deflated bounce house and plastic eggs remained on the ground at the park on Monday. There are evidence markers in the street just outside the fence from the playground. Police also had a tow truck take a sports car away, possibly a Lamborghini.
There were apparently lots of kids and families in the park when someone started shooting out in the street.
"They were innocent bystanders, people started shooting, and they were just sitting," a grandmother said.
Two of the five victims didn't even attend the Easter gathering at Poppy Park.
Investigators marked evidence in the street next to Carver Shores Park and there were a large number of those markers.

My take on Easter and how it doesn't only happen once a year, it's assurance in the waiting as well.
What actually happened in Palestine c. 2000 years ago? Did the ancient myth of the dying and resurrecting God become fact, as C. S. Lewis eventually concluded? Or was the life of Christ, as we now have it, based on that of Apollonius of Tyana? Or was it inspired by the characters of the First Jewish Revolt? Or was a mere list of aphorisms, based on Greek philosophy, transformed into a moving, but purely fictional narrative? After two thousand years, the debate continues. What is certain is that Christianity inspired the creation of some of the greatest and most beautiful art and architecture and music ever created in the history of the world. Hence, some holy, godly influence was clearly at work, whether it was indeed that of the Holy Spirit, or of some other force. Moreover, whether the Myth was in fact played out in history or not, the Myth itself, if taken as a summation of and a comment upon the Human Condition, remains profoundly true.
