Ecuador’s anthem is another example of a “Latin American epic anthem”. The lyrics were written in 1865 (the author, Juan León Mera, later served as president of the Ecuadoran senate) and set to music the following year. Except in formal occasions (where the second verse is performed, followed by the third verse and the the second verse is repeated), the second verse is the verse that’s sung out of the seven verses of the poem (six of which make up the complete lyrics of the anthem.)

The COVID19 Pandemic in Ecuador has been crushing and out of control, so much that morgues are overwhelmed and the nation has run out of coffins. To fix this issue, many morgues have begun to mummify deceased COVID19 victims to avoid premature decay while they await burial.

The News with Rick Sanchez - October 24, 2019 (19:00 ET)

Was WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange sold out by Ecuadoran President Lenin Moreno? And why have Moreno’s policies so drastically changed from what he professed before taking office? Rick Sanchez interviews Ecuador’s former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ricardo Patiño, who engineered WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s years-long asylum in the Ecuadoran embassy in London, UK. He argues that Moreno was blackmailed by forces in Washington to betray Assange and the people of Ecuador.

Miriam Cisneros, First Female President of the Pueblo of Sarayaku, gave a heartfelt testimony telling Moreno that "My tears have dried for crying for our dead children. All the fallen brothers may rest in your conscience President."

In 2017, she said:
When I was named as President by the Congress of Sarayaku, I felt so nervous, because first of all, I did not know what challenges were awaiting me. And what I said to the women, because the women had been supporting me, was, ‘now is the time for us to demonstrate our leadership, because women have always been at the front of all of our fights, carrying our children, caring for our husbands, caring for the garden, feeding our households – in all aspects, including in the marches, so now we need to bring our strength together, to say that we are united, that we cannot be forgotten as leaders’. And so I said to them, ‘women, don’t leave me alone, I will be at the front, but it will be with the help of all of you that we will continue ahead. I will take the baton to lead not just the women, but the whole community.’ And the past presidents and leaders, wise people in the community, and the other women themselves, they have given me the support to assume this role and help strengthen my community. They have given me the strength to take on this role, so now I can say, ‘I am with my Pueblo, and my Pueblo is with me’.

With her five minutes at the Dialogue for Peace on October 13, 2019, I believe she stopped the possibility of an Ecuadorian Civil War. We shall see how Moreno lives up to his word and what happens with the IMF stipulations, but this is the speech that needs to be recorded in history books.

Co-Conspirator: Ecuador Paid Off To Deliver Assange
Video - Monday April 15, 2019 - Ron Paul and Daniel McAdams
Written by Daniel McAdams - The timing was hardly "coincidental." Not long after a trip by Vice President Pence to "convince" Ecuador to hand over Julian Assange, a $4.2 billion IMF loan appears on the scene. Then Ecuador follows through and delivers the Wikileaks publisher to face the wrath of the US political establishment. The move was directly out of a US government "unconventional warfare' playbook that, ironically, was released in 2008 by...Wikileaks! Join us for today's Liberty Report.
