If A Nation Sins Against Me (Ezekiel 14:13-14)
Dr Paul MacDonald RN MA Dipl
When a Land Sins Against Me by Persistent Unfaithfulness, I Will Stretch out My hand Against It
God said that there was a sense in which a land could sin against Him. Of course, people sin, and real estate does not. Yet since God gives responsibility over certain real estate to certain people, there is a sense in which a land can indeed sin – and become a target of God’s judgment.
Persistent Unfaithfulness
“It is used of the sin of Achan, in relation to the devoted thing (Joshua 7:1) and of a wife’s adulterous act (Numbers. 5:12), both of which incurred the death penalty. The meaning here is similarly of a land which by its unfaithfulness deserves the ultimate in punishment.”
I Will Cut off its Supply of Bread and Send Famine Upon it
This was God’s promised judgment upon a land – agricultural failure and the famine that results from it. The lack of food would cut off man and beast from it.
Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves
The sin of Israel was so deep and serious that even if three of the most righteous men of Israel’s history were present in the land, it would not stop God’s judgment against the land. They would deliver only themselves by their righteousness, and not the nation as a whole.
Lesson for Today
Similarly, today, God can use plans of "individuals" and of the "Nations" against them to punish them for their own outright evil, wickedness, and sins.
Only the few, like Noah, Daniel and Job, due to their way of life and righteousness, only these would be saved throughout the plight.
These individuals would look on and and see the judgment come upon the sins, and the land and the wicked.

1) The Coming War Between Greece (The West) And The Ram Of The East/Modern Day Iran (Daniel 8:2-7, 21, and Daniel 11:2-3)
2) The Subsequent Collapse Of The West (Daniel 8:8, 22 and 11:4)
3) The Rise of the Assyrian World Ruler (Daniel 7:20-22, 8:23-25, and 11:5-45)

Intro
Could the situation we find ourselves in now, with regards to tensions between the West and Iran, could this be the beginning of The Ram of the East Pushing/Jostling towards the North, South and West in the Middle Eastern Region (Daniel 8:3-4)..
The Rapidly Oncoming Fall of the West Predicted
This will be a war which will not only lead to Iran’s fall, by being crushed by the whole of the Western World (Daniel 8:5-7), but also of the subsequent fall that of the West that it will face as a result (Daniel 8:8 and 11:4).
Iranium
North, West, East and South in the Bible
We must remember, that when North, South and West are mentioned in the Bible, they are always with reference to Jerusalem at the very centre.
1) This War Will Be Inside Iran
Daniel sees this coming clash taking place on the River Ulai, near the Citadel of Susa (Daniel 8:1-2).
2) The Ram Pushes Forward in the Middle East
The Ram (Iran) will move towards the North, South and West and no one will be able to stand against it (Daniel 8:3-4).
3) Iran (Persia) to Come Against the WHOLE of the West
Note Daniel 11:2, whereby Kings are coming out of Persia (Modern day Iran), and they will assemble all the Kingdom (presumably Iran and its allies) against Greece (the West) consider (Daniel 8:5-7).
The West Victorious For a Short While Only
But, after the Ram of the East (Modern Day Iran) has been thrown down, the West will be victorious for a “little while” only, then a King will then arise who will do as he pleases, but his Kingdom will be broken and parcelled out to four winds (Daniel 8:8 and 11:3-4).
The 1st King of Daniel 8:21 NOT Alexander
The first King of Daniel 8:21 is NOT Alexander, but the the Prominent or Foremost leader leading the attack against Iran (Persia).
The Western Kingdom being parcelled out into 4 happens AFTER the war with Iran (Persia) and then the subsequent rise of the 4th Beast/Iron Legged Kingdom divided between Syria and Egypt out of which the Little Horn will come (Daniel 8:21-25).
This King of Daniel 8:21 is also one that is "stubborn", and "does what ever he pleases",, but as soon as he has become powerful, he will then be cut down (Daniel 11:3-4).
4) The Rapidly Oncoming Subsequent Total Collapse of the West
This collapse comes AFTER this war. It results in the breakup of Greece (the West) into 4, with one of the 4 rising to crush the other 3 (Daniel 11:4, 7:1-7. 8:8, and 22).
The West will remain victorious for a “little while“ only, and *then* the fun begins with life under the crushing Rulership of The Iron Legged Kingdom that will be divided between Syria and Egypt .
5) The Rise of the Beast/Iron Legged Kingdom (Syria and Egypt)
This will then be the Rise of the 4th and Final Middle Eastern Kingdom of Daniels Dream that will last for 70 Years (Daniel 2:31-45, Jeremiah 25:12-13, 29:10-14).
This Kingdom will be based in Babylon in Modern Day Iraq, it will be a Kingdom that comes to its end when the Messiah Returns and Kingdom of God begins (Revelation 11:15).
The Wheels Are Coming Off Now for The West
The condition of the West that we are witnessing now, with special regards to Political, Moral, Social and Economical decay, could this be the beginning of the coming predicted total collapse that is to come AFTER the coming war between the West (Greece) and the Ram of the East (Iran).
