'Coral Castle is an oolite limestone structure created by the Latvian-American eccentric Edward Leedskalnin (1887–1951). It is located in unincorporated territory of Miami-Dade County, Florida, between the cities of Homestead and Leisure City. The structure comprises numerous megalithic stones, mostly limestone formed from coral, each weighing several tons. It is currently a privately operated tourist attraction. Coral Castle is noted for legends surrounding its creation that claim it was built single-handedly by Leedskalnin using reverse magnetism or supernatural abilities to move and carve numerous stones, each weighing many tons.'
In this installment, we start developing a simple design by testing parts that satisfy a design. Along the way we demonstrate the use of a few types of digital interfaces that many sensors use, though there are many more out there. The sensors you use will depend on what experiment you're trying to do, basic recording of a flight, some experiment trigger at a particular altitude, and live video transmission would have different requirements from each other. Each one still usually has a strict weight limit, so efficiency is a must.
Next time, we put the pieces together and test it, and compare it to data from a real flight to see if these parts would do a good job.

One of the most powerful civilizations in history, the Roman Empire ruled the world for more than five centuries. Although renowned for its military prowess, Rome's real power stemmed from its unprecedented mastery of urban planning and engineering.
Rome: Engineering an Empire chronicles Rome's spectacular structural history from the rise of Julius Caesar in 55 BC to the Empire's eventual collapse in 537 AD. Each of Rome's legendary rulers left their mark on the city - some stately, some sordid - and their collective ambition caused a surge of innovation and ingenuity that led to Rome's glorious ascendance. Despite their personal short comings, many of the Roman Empires great engineering accomplishments were introduced during the reign of the Caesars. The tradition continued under Vespasian, builder of the Coliseum, Trajan, builder of the Forum, and Hadrian, builder and possibly the designer of the Pantheon. Finally, a decade later Caracalla built a bath complex/recreation center in an effort to secure his own reputation in history.
Examine the planning and construction of the city's greatest masterpieces, including the awe-inspiring Colosseum and its mysterious subterranean aqueducts, and piece together Rome's magnificent past through its architectural triumphs.
p.s. I find this docu very old school and biased against Nero. I'm also a bit surprised they don't mention Circus Maximus, the sewer system and the tunnel of Nemi, given that it's mainly a docu about building and engineering.
A quick review of my old metalworking station, she has served me well for the last ten years or more carrying out almost every task I needed and making the projects much easier, they come under many different brand names, this one came from Axminster Power Tools in the Uk.
This is a tool that I desired for some time so I decided to put my hand turning skills to the test, but this time on metal instead of wood, the head is a section of 1" hex brass which was hand turned in the woodwork lathe and the inserts are metal and PTFE, the handle is turned in house from Pink Ivory Wood to a shape I saw once in an old Victorian tool catalogue which is suprisingly comfortable in the hand.
The handle is secured via a single Ebony wedge that passes slightly above and past the head of the hammer as in the original, this is the best way I have found of securing the handle to the head, especially on smaller diameters holes, where as a flush fitting wedge tends to come loose after much use.
Brand new, is my version of a flexi drive system, the motor is a replacement for a Dyson hoover and the flexi shaft an after market remake of the famous foredom system, but at a snip of the price of the original; The quality is actually excellent for the price.
The mount is made from Birch plywood which is excellent platform for this kind of mount and free from the scrap cut off pile. It really is a simple layout with a main platform for the motor and a spaced rail to hold the outer cable and to stop it spinning.
I have had this design on the drawing board for some time now and recently began collecting a few materials for it, it will be on the manual treadle model for sharpening a myriad of different cutting tools from wood chisels to planer blades, designed in Solidwork which is the old school version of 3D today but still an industry leader.
In this video I will show how I sharpen my own bandsaw blade using a cheap Oregon chainsaw sharpener, how to convert and adjust it, the blades I am using are 8 TPI which fit the standard 1/4" grinding wheel perfectly.
Do you and your's truly know "what the hell a GMO is?" If not, here's an upbeat, educational song that tells the story of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in a nutshell. It's a tad long, so get up and dance to it - a more fun way to absorb it all. Many more GMO info sites, books, articles and videos listed in the credits at the end of video, which expose the dangers of unsafe food, the political maneuverings done to keep GMOs on our tables and how it's adversely effecting the entire Earth and all biological beings on it. Enjoy discovering a more clear POV on GMOs and then share widely and wildly! For the health of all on Earth.

#CladdingBan #ACP #Polyethylene The Queensland Government has decided to ban Combustible cladding with a Polyethylene composition of greater than 30%. I see this is an admission that other checks and balances in our construction industry are not being met.
A short video showing how to calculate gear ratios for a planetary gear system that includes a compound gear. Files for making the parts shown in the video can be found at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3531934
The objective of this project is to develop an Autonomous self driving car rover using Arduino, Raspberry pi , machine learning deep learning and Artificial intelligence resources in Firstly creating PID controllers to maintain Desired Target outputs Before trying to apply machine learning and deep learning Principles.
From The Verge: The video was made in late 2016 by Nick Foster, the head of design at X (formerly Google X) and a co-founder of the Near Future Laboratory. The video, shared internally within Google, imagines a future of total data collection, where Google helps nudge users into alignment with their goals, custom-prints personalized devices to collect more data, and even guides the behavior of entire populations to solve global problems like poverty and disease.
David Rockefeller is dead. But what does it mean? How do we measure the life of someone who has shaped the modern world to such an extent? Join us for this week's edition of The Corbett Report where we examine David Rockefeller's life, his works and the world that he left in his wake.
Alex Jones Radio show 5th of January 2009 broadcast. Dr. Russell Blaylock talks to Alex about the Rockefellers and their eugenics programs and how it all came about. He also covers the corporate and state merger of government and medicine and the control of mainstream media and information.
Dr. Russell Blaylock on Who Created Orthodox Medicine
"Who Created Orthodox Medicine?"
Dr. Russell Blaylock:
"Who created orthodox medicine? Where did that come from?"
"Well, it actually came from the Rockefeller Foundation back in 1901."
"The Rockefellers at the time . . . because of the Standard Oil scandals, no one wanted to be called a Rockefeller.
"Everybody hated all the Rockefellers. And so his friend, Reverend Gates, went to John D. Rockefeller, Sr. and told him, he said, "Well, here's a way we can repair your reputation." And he gave him a good example. He said, "There was this man who everybody hated . . . and he started giving money out for all sorts of philanthropic enterprises, and soon people forgot all of the bad things." . . .
"So the first thing, because Gates' father was a physician, and John D. Rockefeller's father was a quack snake-oil salesmen, he said, "Let's form the Rockefeller Institute of Medical Research." And so they created this in 1901. . . ."
"Rockefeller owned what was called the drug trust: that's the major drug manufacturing firms all over the world: Merck Pharmaceuticals, Lederle, all of these . . . pharmaceutical companies . . ."
"And of course, the aim was to remove all nutrition, references to nutritional type treatments, from the medical schools. They closed down half the medical schools in the United States. There were 165 medical schools at the time. . . . Then he had his anointed medical schools, which he poured his money into, appointed the professors from his own stock of professors. And so they created an educational system that taught the things that he wanted taught. And therefore every professor that came out of those programs taught the same thing."
