We accurately predicted the rise of the Tesla stock already half a year ago! Back then the stock price was artificially kept at an insanely low level by different FUD stories and Tesla media bias, i.a. sponsored by big oil and large hedge funds.
An epic Tesla short squeeze has resulted in huge losses for the Tesla short sellers. Tesla fake news and main stream media like CNBC's bias against Tesla can't keep the stock price undervalued anymore and we believe Tesla stock will double soon as compared to half a year ago. Tesla stock fair value should be well above 400 USD.
Our optimistic Tesla stock price prediction is also based on the imminent Tesla Gigafactory 3 production start. Moreover, Tesla is supposed to be closing a deal with the Chinese battery manufacture CATL, such that they can produce the Model 3 at an even lower price in China while increasing their Model 3 production amount at the same time.
The Walmart Tesla solar roof fire story has come to an end, as Walmart just voluntarily ended the lawsuit with Tesla. Hence the allegations against Tesla were probably exaggerated from the beginning and this is another classic example of CNBC bias Tesla in order to drag down the Tesla stock price.
Elon Musk's Tesla pickup truck teaser lets us speculate on a true Blade Runner style cyberpunk design of the upcoming Tesla pickup! Besides a futuristic design, we expect the Tesla pickup to have some quite spectacular technical specs as well, which will totally put all gasoline pickup trucks into shame.
So the production version of the Porsche Taycan has been released and of course we want to see a Tesla Vs Porsche Taycan battle, it just has to be. Now of course we compare different metrics and want to find out if this now is the long awaited Tesla killer. We then also want to talk about the Tesla solar roof fires, the Tesla insurance, and the Model 3 shattering sales records in the UK.
So now that finally the production version of the Porsche Taycan and specs have been released, we of course immediately want to find out how this car fares against the competition from Tesla. We of course look at the Porsche Taycan 0-60 time, and do a Tesla Model S vs Porsche Taycan comparison. We are amazed to find that the Porsche Taycan specs vs tesla are actually not so bad, this is indeed the first time that a non-Tesla comes close to the acceleration of a Model S Performance. Of course still below, but really close. The range however is quite a lot less than the Model S, even in a Tesla Model 3 vs Porsche Taycan comparison, the Taycan would lose here. However, it has a faster charging with 270kW than Tesla currently. So is it then the Tesla Killer? We think not. Because the price is just extremely high, at least 50% more than a Model S Performance, and in the higher Turbo S version, even 85% more! And it doesn't have the supercharger network or autopilot. Nonetheless however, the Taycan is a great car, that will certainly find many buyers, and will accelerate the death of gasoline sports cars. So we absolutely welcome the Taycan and are happy that Porsche made this car!
Then, a Model S Performance is under way to the Nurburg Ring in Germany, to beat the Porsche Taycan Nurburgring time. It of course is not nice that a non Tesla car should be allowed to be faster than a Tesla. Therefore the Model S will try to beat the Taycan's lap record this week.
In other news, the Tesla insurance program has started to roll out in California, and it is 20-30% cheaper than comparable car insurances, saving the customer hundreds of dollars per year. Combine that with the much lower accident rate of Teslas, and one can imagine how much money Tesla will earn with the newly opened insurance business. Certainly much to the dismay of other car insurers!
Then of course we also have to talk about the Tesla solar panels fire currently being reported about by many news outlets. Is it FUD again? Is it really that bad? Well this time, it is not so easy to entirely dismiss it as FUD. It could indeed be that Tesla hasn't been thorough enough to check the older solar city installations, and replace older parts to meet the newest industry standards. However, we think that while not being FUD level, the story is certainly blown out of proportion. The US Fire Administration's statistics show that 8000 fires are caused on average per year in the US because of electric short-circuits, so about 1 per hour !!! Considering also that Tesla runs 400000 solar installations, 1-2 fires per year certainly doesn't seem extremely bad. It seems to be a classic case of Tesla media bias again. But to be fair, we have to say that this time, Tesla could also be at fault to some extent. To what extent exactly will have to be seen in the coming weeks, when more info comes rolling in.
And then we also want to talk about the amazing Tesla Model 3 sales in the UK, where the car has managed to surpass most of the gasoline car competition, and has even made it to the Nr.3 best selling car in August. Certainly an amazing achievement and but a taste of the coming giant EV revolution, where EVs will completely replace gasoline car in the next 10-20 years.
In this episode, we want to present Electric Car Myths Vs Facts using some scientific data. Our goal is to completely destroy all those fake electric car myths going around, that are being promoted by news media articles, proudly sponsored by big oil and old auto.
We want to analyze the most common so-called "arguments", anti-EV people like to bring forth. There are of course many more, but we took the most important ones. For example: What are the electric car emissions? Is an electric car better for environment? And producing batteries emits CO2 as we know, so what are the electric car batteries environmental impact?
We also go further and want to take into account the whole production chain of gasoline or diesel cars, the complete well to wheel ratio, and also the complete chain for EVs, using data from the newest scientific research. We thus estimate the electric car vs gas car carbon footprint for the complete production chain.
Unsurprisingly, EVs again win against ICE cars in really any possible scenario and in any possible country. Even taking into account the lithium ion battery production, EVs still have a lower CO2 emission over their complete production and life cycle, than gasoline or diesel cars.
We therefore hope to have contributed something against all these anti-EV fake news going around, being often cited by EV-haters and petrolheads. We hope to one day see all these electric car myths busted.
