Mystery writer Cornelia Van Gorder has rented a country house called "The Oaks", which not long ago had been the scene of some murders committed by a strange and violent criminal known as "The Bat". DIE GROSS LIEBE (The Great Love) is a 1942 Third Reich film. It tells the story of Paul & Hanna during WW2.

The attractive Oberleutnant Paul Wendlandt is stationed in North Africa as a fighter pilot. While in Berlin to deliver a report he is given a day’s leave, and on the stage of the cabaret theatre „Skala“ sees the popular Danish singer Hanna Holberg. For Paul it is love at first sight. When Hanna visits friends after the end of the performance, he follows her, and speaks to her in the U-Bahn. After the party in her friends’ flat he accompanies her home, and chance throws them further together when an air raid warning forces them to take cover in the air raid shelter. Hanna reciprocates Paul’s feelings, but after a night spent together Paul has to return immediately to the front.

There now follows a whole series of misunderstandings, and one missed opportunity after another. While Hanna waits in vain for some sign of life from Paul, he is flying on missions in North Africa. When he tries to visit her in her Berlin flat, she is giving a Christmas concert in Paris. Nevertheless, their bond grows in strength and arouses the jealousy of the composer Rudnitzky, who is also in love with the singer. Paul asks Hanna in a letter to marry him. However, when he is finally able to visit her, he is called away again on the night before the wedding. Hanna, disappointed, leaves for Rome, where she has to make a guest appearance. Even when Paul manages to get three weeks’ leave and follows Hanna to Rome, the wedding has still to be postponed: Paul feels so strongly that he is needed at the front that he goes back even though he has not been ordered to do so. Hanna does not understand this, and there is an argument, after which Paul thinks he has lost her forever.

The war against the Soviet Union breaks out (1941) and Paul and his friend Etzdorf are sent to the Eastern Front. When Etzdorf is killed, Paul writes a farewell letter to Hanna, to make the dangers of his missions easier to bear. Only when he himself has been shot down and wounded and is sent to a military hospital in the mountains does he see Hanna again, who is still prepared to marry him. The last shots of the film show the happy couple, confident in the future, looking skywards where squadrons of German bombers fly past.

Unfortunately, this film promotes a mild form of race-mixing, but it's instructive to see how this used to be handled compared to the viciously antarian way it is done today. Also, (in this reviewer's opinion) the miscegeny is off-set by the Aryan spirit of exploration and conquest that the film portrays.

Yes. This film, like all Hollywood productions concerning the events surrounding WW2, is anti-German propaganda. I hesitated about posting it, but I decided to anyway, because it is useful to those of us in the know for deciphering just how they work, and eventually can be helpful in assisting us in creating our own films to counter this propaganda.

Sir Oswald Ernald Mosley, 6th Baronet of Ancoats was a British politician who rose to fame in the 1920s as a Member of Parliament and later in the 1930s became leader of the British Union of Fascists. After military service during the First World War, Mosley was one of the youngest Members of Parliament for Harrow from 1918 to 1924, first as a Tory, then an independent, before joining the Labour Party. He returned to Parliament as Labour MP for Smethwick at a by-election in 1926, and served as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in the Labour Government of 1929–31. He was considered a potential Labour Prime Minister, but resigned due to discord with the Government's unemployment policies. He then founded the New Party. He lost his seat at Smethwick in 1931. The New Party merged with the British Union of Fascists in 1932. Mosley was imprisoned in May 1940 and the BUF was banned. He was released in 1943, and, politically discriminated against because of his courage in speaking the truth about Jewish Power.

Fred Astaire and Jane Powell star as siblings Tom and Ellen Brown, who have a hit Broadway show that ends up getting booked in London amid the festivities of Princess Elizabeth’s upcoming wedding. But their plans take a detour when Ellen meets Lord John Brindale (Peter Lawford) and Tom meets Anne (Sarah Churchill).

While Astaire was most often partnered with all-time babe Ginger Rogers, he made several musicals with other leading ladies like Rita Hayworth, Cyd Charisse, and Powell. The “You’re All the World to Me” solo, where he literally dances off the walls, is one of Astaire’s most famous routines.

This is the original German-language version (with French subtitles) of the film, JUD SUSS (or Suss the Jew in English). It is a National Socialist film based on the novel of the same name that shows the ruthlessness and cunning of the main character Suss Oppenheimer, a court Jew who sought power to promote the interests of Jews over indigenous Germans in the late 18th century. Criticized by Jews and those who collaborate with them as "anti-semitic", but seen as expository and revealing by those in the know.

This romance, directed by Mitchell Leisen — HOLD BACK THE DAWN (1941) and TO EACH HIS OWN (1946) — stars Carol Lombard as singer Maggie King and Fred MacMurray as musician Skid Johnson. Shortly after their nuptials, the couple’s marriage is tested when Skid runs into an old fling, Anita Alvarez, played by Dorothy Lamour.

Lamour is one of those classic movie stars who made a big impact on the industry, but who, for some reason, has been since overshadowed by the Joan Crawfords and Bette Davises. Lamour starred in dozens of pictures and has not one, but two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contributions to both radio and cinema. Lamour’s onscreen popularity skyrocketed during the 1940s, when she starred alongside Bing Crosby and Bob Hope in the ROAD TO … comedy series. But her career began in the 1936 when she was cast as the lead in THE JUNGLE PRINCESS followed by SWING HIGH, SWING LOW.

Frederica Brown, played by blonde bombshell Lana Turner, is vacationing at an Italian resort when she not-so-accidentally stumbles into a man who calls himself Mr. Imperium. The two strike up a romance that’s put on pause when Mr. Imperium confesses that he’s a — wait for it — European crown prince. Oh, and his father is gravely ill, and he must leave at once. Years pass, and while the prince tends to his father, Frederica becomes a movie star. He travels to California to rekindle their romance — only for his duties to get in the way once more.

Though Mr. Imperium isn’t the most notable Technicolor film — it lost more than $1 million the box office — it has an all-star cast, including a young Debbie Reynolds. Her next film would be Singin’ in the Rain (1952).

This often forgotten pre-Code gem is directed by Lewis Milestone, the man responsible for All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) and The Front Page (1931). When missionary Alfred Davidson (Walter Huston), his wife, and prostitute Sadie Thompson (Joan Crawford) find themselves stuck on an island in the South Pacific due to a cholera scare, Davidson tries to reform Thompson while battling his own sinful thoughts.

Why Watch It? Crawford is often linked to her Academy Award–winning role in Mildred Pierce (1945) and now, thanks to Ryan Murphy, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane (1962). But Crawford’s career spans over five decades, beginning in the silent era. By the time Rain was released, Crawford already had three dozen films under her belt — Our Dancing Daughters (1928), Dance, Fools, Dance (1931), and Possessed (1931) just to name a few. Rain’s Sadie Thompson is one of Crawford’s most scandalously entertaining but often overlooked performances.

Until, that is, Gail is stabbed to death immediately upon arrival. The adventure begins when Gail’s ghost convinces Mr. Topper to help her solve her murder.

A traditional Thanksgiving special in America, MARCH OF THE WOODEN SOLDIERS is a Laurel and Hardy musical film released on March 10, 1934. The film was originally called BABES IN TOYLAND and is also known by the alternate titles: LAUREL AND HARDY IN TOYLAND and REVENGE IS SWEET (the 1948 European reissue title).

Based on Victor Herbert's popular 1903 operetta BABES IN TOYLAND, the film was produced by Hal Roach, directed by Charles Rogers and Gus Meins, and distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Originally filmed in black-and-white, this one of two different computer colorized versions.

Although the 1934 film makes use of many of the characters in the original play, as well as several of the songs, the plot is almost completely unlike that of the original stage production. In contrast to the stage version, the film's story takes place entirely in Toyland, which is inhabited by Mother Goose (Virginia Karns) and other well known fairy tale characters.

Given that this independent free-culture film was produced by noted misandrist Jew Nina Paley, one might expect it to be full of man-hate and typical Cultural-Marxist drivel, but it re-tells the traditional Aryan story of THE RAMAYANA in a rather endearing way. It weaves three separate stories, a modern tale of a woman who can't keep her man, and a frame story of three modern Hindu narrators telling the tale of the Ram and Sita from the point of view of the jilted Sita. There are some of the expected crazy feminist view-points toward the end, but overall it is very well done.

Never-the-less, the real reason I'm adding this to this channel is because it is a great example of an independently produced free-culture film that demonstrates that it is possible to produce great films without a lot of money and outside of the clutches of Jewish Hollyweird. And this is necessary if Whites are going to regain their freedom from the Jewish Power structure and ever produce our own cultural artifacts again.
