An overnight reverse repo is when the fed sells instruments to the banks at 11:59 and buys them back at midnight, basically, paying an interest for the 'inconvenience' of them holding the instrument. Hence, it's free money printing (via the interest rate) going to the banks.

The official version of Quantitative Easing, in which the central bank creates reserves and does no more than swap them for assets without any money getting into the economy at large, has entrenched itself as the gospel truth pretty much by default, following 12 straight years without serious challenge. While there are legions of people who SUSPECT that QE is an insiders’ game designed to lard select asset valuations, suspicions and proof are two very different animals.
It’s high time the undefeated-to-date official version of QE faced a decent challenger. Mr. Frazier, meet Mr. Foreman.
In this video, the official version of QE is taken apart at the joint. And while we need a few more minutes alone with the champ than did America’s indoor grilling pioneer back in 1973, the outcome is the same: down goes Frazier.
The difference of course is that while Joe Frazier was a courageous competitor who took all comers, the Federal Reserve and its cronies… well, what kind of “competitors” need a continent-sized cheat like QE to prop themselves up when they’ve already misappropriated their country’s constitutional money-printing power?

Let put a little order and names in the swamp-system. The FED is a private bank. It belongs to eight families. Four of this families live in USA. It’s Goldman Sachs, Rockefeller, Lehman and Kuhn Loeb from New York. That means that all banks belong to them! That means that all money, not only Dollar (also Euro, Pound Sterling, Yen, Chinese Ren…), belong to them! Apple, Microsoft, Walmart, y otras 791 grandes compañías son las mayores beneficiarias de las medidas que ha puesto en marcha la Reserva Federal de Estados Unidos para apuntalar el mercado corporativo de deuda.
La Fed publicó este domingo una lista de las casi 800 empresas cuyos bonos comprará directamente, entre las que se encuentran la alemana Volkswagen o la alemana Daimler. Junto con At&T, Apple Verizon y Toyota, estas seis compañías suman el 10% de toda la deuda que la Fed se comprometió a comprar.
La lista incluye a compañías de 12 sectores, de los cuales un tercio corresponde a "consumo cíclico" y "consumo no cíclico".
La Fed anunció en marzo pasado que compraría deuda corporativa para prevenir la paralización de los mercados y que las compañías se quedaran sin flujo de efectivo durante el paro económico que se vivió a causa del coronavirus.
El programa de compra de deuda corporativa de la Fed está planeado en distintas fases. El banco central planea comprar hasta 250,000 millones de dólares de deuda que ya ha sido emitida por las compañías, y más adelante comprará 500,000 millones de dólares en bonos nuevos.
Este programa de apoyo ha generado un boom de emisión de bonos de deuda por parte de las empresas estadounidenses que mantienen el grado de inversión y también para aquellas consideradas "ángeles caídos" por haberlo perdido después del 22 de marzo.
La Fed ha enfrentado críticas por este programa de compra de bonos dado que en este momento el financiamiento es históricamente barato. La tasa de interés de referencia del banco central está en un rango entre 0.0% y 0.25%. y ha advertido que no subirá las tasas hasta que el desempleo sea menor a 5.0%.
No obstante, el presidente de la Fed, Jerome Powell, defendió las compras ante el Congreso estadounidense a principios de junio, y los mercados respondieron con vigor al anuncio del banco central.

Fed warns of lasting economic damage
A long-lasting crisis due to the coronavirus can cause lasting damage to the economy. That is what Jerome Powell of the US central bank said in a speech this week. He fears that the disappearance of small and medium-sized enterprises in particular will affect the recovery capacity of the economy. These companies create a lot of jobs and are therefore crucial for the recovery.

The follow-up to the original "Money as Debt", which explained the origins of the modern day "fractional reserve system" and modern banking. This follow-up focuses on more modern-day banking and the effect the money supply has on the economy. Produced in 2008 and released in 2009, you will be amazed at just how well this film predicted our current (2011) financial crisis.
Both films may sound incredibly dull, but the producers explain things using simple cartoon characters and animated diagrams to keep you interested. While the quality of the static cartoons and animation in both films is quite poor, you don't watch a film like this expecting Fantasia.
If you are into history & politics, you will find this sequel almost as fascinating as the first. My only criticism: This sequel does repeat the myth that "it took World War II to finally pull us out of the Great Depression"... a surprising economic blunder for such a detailed film (if war provides such an economic boom, explain the fact the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have had a devastating economic effect on the U.S. today?) But once you get past that huge blunder, the remainder is quite accurate.
Fascinating to the point of horrifying, "Money as Debt II" is nearly every bit as good as the original.
"Money As Debt II" is an improved version of "Money As Debt". In spite of the animation, this is not a cartoon but arguably the most important film you will see in your life because it tackles the most important subject of our and every previous era as far back as the dawn of recorded history.

The big exception is war; governments can always find money for that, as is made clear here. Money dominates all our lives, but what is it? In the modern world it is mostly blips in cyber-space.
Herein, Paul Grignon explains in simple language for the intelligent layman, housewife and schoolboy how the money system really works and how it should work, just don't give too much credence to his advocacy of digital currency (ie Bitcoin). The global financial system is nothing but the biggest Ponzi scheme ever devised, one that has been operating way before the birth of Charles Ponzi in 1882.

Por otro lado, el Banco de México no dice nada o no reconoce los efectos negativos que su política monetaria arroja sobre el crecimiento y las finanzas públicas. No reconoce que debido a su autonomía el gasto estatal que no es cubierto con ingresos fiscales es pagado con deuda privada. La autonomía del Banco Central obliga al gobierno a contratar deuda provocando con ello efectos perversos no sólo sobre las finanzas públicas sino sobre el crecimiento y la inflación. Por ejemplo, si el
gobierno construye una carretera con emisión monetaria, entonces el Banco de México dice que ello causa inflación, pero en cambio aplaude si el gobierno acude a un crédito privado para financiar la carretera, aportando al mercado exactamente la misma cantidad de dinero que haría con la emisión monetaria.
En el primer caso, el del financiamiento con emisión monetaria, el gobierno no está obligado a reembolsar el financiamiento y mucho menos a pagar intereses por ello; en el segundo caso, el Estado se obliga a pagar el crédito otorgado más los
respectivos intereses. El dinero es exactamente el mismo, nada más que en el primer caso se considera un pecado capital que provoca inflación, en cambio sí exactamente el mismo dinero proviene del crédito privado, entonces no pasa nada. Si el déficit público se paga con créditos privados desaparece el discurso negativo del efecto nocivo de aumentar la cantidad de dinero, aunque ello compromete los ingresos fiscales del gobierno para pagar los intereses y la deuda contratada.
