Auf der Comic-Con International 2012 in San Diego, nutzte der leitende Redakteur des „Astronomy Magazine", Michael E. Bakich, die Chance zu einem kurzen Interview mit William Shatner, der den meisten bestens als „Captain James Tiberius Kirk“ aus der Kino und Fernsehserie „Star Trek (Raumschiff Enterprise)“ bekannt ist.
Der Redakteur des „Astronomy Magazine“ wollte wissen, wie es William Shatner gelinge, ein Gleichgewicht zwischen Wissenschaft und Science Fiction zu halten. Er erhielt eine seltsam bizarre Antwort, mit der durchaus überraschend anmutenden Aussage : „Wissenschaft und Science Fiction sind im Grunde dasselbe..." (!?)
Und diese Antwort ist gerade in der heutigen Zeit sehr interessant, weil Planaterristen exakt das Gleiche sagen, wenn sie behaupten, daß es sich bei der Internationalen Raumfahrt eher um eine Internationale Traumfahrt handelt.
Des Weiteren haben wir die jüngst veröffentlichten #FakeNews der NASA aufgegriffen, die einem leichtgläubigen Publikum ein modernes Raumfahrt-Märchen präsentieren und uns romantisch vorgaukeln, daß sie 7 „Exo-Planeten“ auf einen Streich mit ihrem Equipment erwischt haben. Die Idee dazu, haben wir übrigens vom youtube Kanal „noicon“ aufgegriffen.
Mit Hilfe der Übersetzung von Paul Breuer, möchten wir Euch dieses kurze audiovisuelle Kunstprojekt zur Verfügung stellen und ein wenig zum Nachdenken anregen.
