Went to 3 major grocery stores to take a quick survey of the magnetic meat situation with varying results.
I wasn't able to do much at WALMART, since they were clearing out their meat cases due to an alleged power outage, but I was able to purchase 2 packages of beef steaks which I tested at home.
A lady in line at Walmart told me that INGLES had also cleared out their meat, but I didn't find that to be the case. There were too many people standing around to test the meat on camera, but I did find the magnet sticking to hamburger & cheaper cuts of beef, except for rump roast.
PIGGLY WIGGLY had cleared out their pork cases last night, but everything seemed mostly restored tonight. I tested pork chops, steaks & some hamburger & the magnet didn't seem to stick at all. I guess I know where I'll be buying my fresh meat in the future!
