Hey everyone, it's been a while since I uploaded, huh? I was busy with real life and also trying to get the back-up videos uploaded to Bitchute. Anyway, I'm trying something different here for October. I've always loved Halloween growing up, so I couldn't pass up some themed wads for the occasion.

I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. This wad is MESSY. It's highly unbalanced, and often times, aggravating. However, where it excels is the atmosphere, and also I add some other custom plugins to improve it even further.

The additional mods I use can be found in the following links:

Universal Rain and Snow- https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=70432

Dark DoomZ - https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?t=57247

Immerse- https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?t=61915

This video doesn't have the best edits this time around. I'm kind of in a rush to get these uploads done in time. Also, OBS did the usual thing and screwed up the audio levels. Thankfully, this is somewhat avoided by making use of gain in Shotcut.

As I stated before, this won't be a Doom only channel, but that will be its main focus for quite a while. As for now, I'm gonna experiment with some other genres and games that I think will be unique to my channel.

Expect some more Halloween themed content to come soon!

Well I've finally uploaded all of my videos to Bitchute. Uploads will not be as often of course from this point forward, but I plan to maintain a regular upload schedule. Gotta squeeze in some spooky themed crap for Halloween while I still can. I've been bogged down by having to download all my videos off youtube's data downloader and various other things.

The Finale of the Ultimate Doom through Final Doom playthrough using the Roguelike Arsenal Weapons and Monster mods!

What a chore this turned out to be. From the video editing software, OBS, or GZDoom crashing, upload sites not working; everything was hellbent on not letting me finish this project. But it's finally done and I can focus on other Doom material for the future!

It wasn't all bad though. I learned a lot of limitations of Corel Video Studio Pro. I also learned my PC REALLY doesn't like that program, or vice versa. RLA is still one of my favorite mods, but I'm glad to be able to change gears and get away from it for a while.

There are also other games I'd like to record as well, all with a Single Player focus. I tried my luck with the multiplayer world and found it's far too toxic a place to actually be able to enjoy yourself. Not to mention Twitch culture and other outside influences making gaming more about showing off than actually just being able to enjoy a game.

Roguelike Arsenal is a gameplay mod that adds hundreds of weapons, upgrades, and armors; as well as its monster counterpart adding customized monsters with unique and deadly attacks. As you may have guessed from the name, it also makes every run a unique experience with full randomization of monster types, weapons, and armor pickups. You get to choose from a selection of 5 different classes: Scout, Marine, Technician, Renegade, and Demolitionist. Each class has unique buffs that you can find out through the use of RLA's PDA in game. Short summary for each:

Scout- Efficient with pistols and increased movement.
Marine- Large ammo for rapid fire weapons and enhanced powerups
Technician- Enhanced damage with assembled weaponry and easier access to mods
Renegade- More armor and more pellets with shotguns.
Demolitionist- Immune to splash damage and reduced ammo consumption with cells.

It's a VERY difficult gameplay mod, or your best friend and makes it a cakewalk. Depends on your settings mostly and how much RNG feels like screwing you. It's one of the best mods to provide a challenge without taking too much away from the original Doom feel IMO.

The fifth episode of the Evilution portion of my ongoing Ultimate Doom through Final Doom playthrough using Roguelike Arsenal! In this episode I cover most of TNT's infamous maps from poor enemy placement to horrible monster traps, these maps have it all!

This is the last episode before the finale of the whole playthrough and it's been an interesting experience, from using multiple upload sites, to struggling to grasp the ins and outs of Corel Video Studio. I've learned a lot in the process and I can safely say future videos will continue to improve in quality and more customizations are coming.

The Fourth episode of the Evilution portion of the Ultimate Doom through Final Doom Roguelike Arsenal Playthrough!

In this episode we start off with Map 16 Deepest Reaches. A lot of atmospheric maps in this episode so obviously includes a lot of my favorites. We haven't reached the bad maps of Evilution yet, but rest assured they ARE coming...

I took extra steps to weed out typos and errors in general. Rendered the video once and watched it all the way through making use of Notepad to fix all the errors and spruce up some scenes. I think that strategy will work best from now on, but it may delay my uploads by a day.

On the plus side, I managed to figure out how to change the layout in Corel Video Studio so I don't have to squint to read the text anymore! That will also allow me to catch more mistakes and produce better quality videos in the future.

*EPILEPSY WARNING*

The third episode of my Full Ultimate Doom through Final Doom Roguelike Arsenal Playthrough! Taking the scenic route this episode and exploring the Egyptian Pyramids, and then taking a relaxing day on the beach.

I use some new editing features and this video is filled to the brim with typos. Seriously, I gotta find a way to enlarge my editing window. At least they aren't so bad that you can't comprehend what I attempted to say. Wish Windows 10 didn't screw up my mic settings beyond belief. I have to fudge around with OBS and edit it manually. =/

The second episode into the Evilution Roguelike Arsenal Playthrough! We're almost finished with all of the original Doom maps and RLA! I have a backlog of videos to edit, but I feel things will shape up once I'm finally through with this first project.

Once I'm done with this I'll try focusing on custom elements for these videos, like a proper death counter image, or a customized Doom face in Slade. Spice things up.

The first episode of the Evilution maps of the Roguleike Arsenal Playthrough!

Hopefully these will be uploaded at a faster rate than the Plutonia videos. The only thing I was held up on was making a decent custom Evilution logo. As for the run itself, it's mostly smooth sailing.

Also adding a death counter to my runs from this point forward. Nothing fancy, but just testing the waters. I'll be adding things here and there considering this channel is still brand new and art for various things will improve with time.

The finale to the Plutonia portion of the Full Ultimate Doom through Final Doom Roguelike Arsenal Playthrough.

I've done it! I finally got through, not just the nightmare of playing Plutonia's awful maps, but I finished editing all the footage. I never have to touch this wad again! (I can also free up some massive space on my puny little 500GB SSD!)

I only semi-jest. For their time, the Final Doom maps were a great addition to the collection, but even as early as a few years after their release, other mappers usurped their thrones. And modern maps? Oh man, modern Doom mapping is in a league of its own.

I'll begin editing and uploading the TNT Evilution footage right away! I can't wait to have a fully completed playlist behind me, and be able to move onto better maps and other games! Look forward to the uploads soon!

Episode 5 of the Plutonia Roguelike Arsenal Playthrough! I THINK I can cram all the remaining maps into one more video and if so, that means I'll be done with Plutonia.

Finally uploading the 4th episode of the Plutonia Experiment RLA run! I've been very busy lately and haven't had a lot of time to edit, and I also took a break from editing the RLA footage, to record some new Doom mods gameplay.

This isn't solely going to be a Roguelike Arsenal only channel and I need to start getting more varied content out. I might upload some other content in between finishing up the RLA videos. I haven't decided yet. Some comment feedback, and likes or dislikes would go a long way into improving the content on this channel! =)

The third episode of the Plutonia Roguelike Arsenal Playthrough. The first map comes out full swing, with a lot of hit scanners and special spawns. We get some unique gear and we head off towards the secret maps!

As usual Corel Video Studio screws up a lot during the editing process. I do what I can, only a few typos. And seriously, the preview window while editing has a screen size about that of a smart phone. On a 1920 x 1080 monitor I have to SQUINT to see the large text...

I'm still gonna try and have TNT uploads sometime this week and then I can put the regular doom maps behind me for a very long time.

The second episode of the Plutonia Roguelike Arsenal Playthrough. In this episode I test out more editing features that Corel Video Studio offers...

I wouldn't actually recommend this editing software to anyone. It lags all over the place, has several hang-ups, and slows the rate at which you can actually successfully make edits.

But, it's better than the free alternatives, and not as expensive as the professional software. Beggars can't be choosers. Also, due to the very tiny editing screen while making edits, I can barely see any typos as I make them. This video has 1 typo in the very beginning, but it's not worth the hassle to re-render the entire thing just to fix one, "Episdoe."

Ranting aside, this episode tackles 6 more maps until Speed! That map will be where the third episode begins, and where the action begins to ramp up. This episode, I get screwed by RNG mostly. A lot. I make a few dumb mistakes here and there, but I manage. It's getting a lot more difficult with the amount of Legendary spawns and even some special bosses!

Between Corel Video Studio, OBS, and GZDoom acting up I've finally begun editing the Final Doom portions of this playthrough! Plutonia and TNT are done, I just have to finish editing the videos.

I also have updated the information I put in these videos with some fancy Paint(dot)net editing and SLADE. If there is anything you think can be improved upon, please don't hesitate to critique. Feel free to pause the video if you can't finish reading them in the 30 second intervals. I'm still trying to find the sweet spot on text timescales. Apologies.

So I've been busy. I finished TNT several weeks ago, and just 2 days ago finished Plutonia. However, during the editing process of TNT, (about 2 weeks ago,)I noticed almost all the footage was corrupted. I had a nearly flawless Scout run on Evilution that I only managed to save about 20 minutes of.

During my Plutonia run, I got really screwed by RNG on the infamous map GO2IT. So I took the footage from my previous TNT attempts and just edited it all together with the GO2IT map footage.

I made a mistake during the editing process. Corel Video Studio doesn't play well with videos that have already been edited. While trying to add a Plutonia intro to the already pieced together footage, (while also correcting some editing errors and making some improvements,) about halfway through the video, the audio became SEVERELY out of sync.

So this video lacks the normal intros and outros I've begun adding to my newer videos. The actual full Final Doom videos will not. I edited this all footage using about 9 different videos so please excuse all the horrible editing mistakes. I did my best, and I'm still learning the editing software,( and learning of its massive drawbacks!)

The final episode of my Doom II Roguelike Arsenal run! With fast monsters and Legendary encounters, this run will hold a special place of infamy in my heart. Mostly I'd say how many times OBS and GZDoom crapped out on me. It's been an uphill battle, but it looks like both my recording software and the Doom engine have been stabilized.

I'd like to thank Microsoft for releasing a broken update for WIndows 10 and setting this recording back at least a week and a half. Oh well. Rant aside, I can finally begin editing the TNT footage. Expect the Evilution uploads sometime this week!

NOTE: This is a re-upload with edited music to avoid copyright claims. The original can be viewed on my Ugetube channel.

Well we've finally reached the conclusion of Temple of the Lizardmen. It's been a fun endeavor and I've learned a lot about the video editor I'm using. While it still doesn't play nicely with my computer, it's powerful enough to get most of what I want accomplished.

I have to thank Alan for providing this awesome TOLM 5 Title card in the mod. Made it very simple to make thumbnails. Usually that takes a while, but I was able to be nice and lazy with it.

The only time consuming part was filling in the rest of the text that DPQuake cuts out. Mostly connecting O's and such. If you were to look VERY closely, you might notice the inconsistencies with the lettering. But DPQuake Font was the closest I could find to what Alan used for the mod's font.

The episodes themselves were very enjoyable, and there's some maps and secrets I missed out on. So if you just happen to watch a small amount of my footage, I recommend you download all 5 episodes and try them out yourselves! Be sure to get a compatible GZDoom version so the flashlights function correctly.

Also, I apologize for the very low quality graphics and such. I use very basic programs to accomplish what I have so far. But hey, that tension meter crap was hard to pull off in this program.

I'm kind of proud with how it turned out. Only thing I would have liked to change was making the head shake erratically once the bar filled up, but it took long enough just to get the thing to function.

Anyway, thanks for watching all the way through my Temple of the Lizardmen uploads! I know there a handful of you at least that watched most if not all of the videos!

Might be time for me to take a break from Doom for a bit. At least uploading all of these videos so close together has freed up some space on my computer. I can work on recording whatever from this point. Just as soon as I get over this damn pneumonia...

If you want to watch uncensored versions of these uploads with their original midis and other videos I have removed from youtube, you have to go there. You can thank YT's copyright bots for that. I haven't uploaded anything directly to Ugetube, so I don't know what videos will and will not upload successfully depending on resolution and file size. I've just been importing them directly from my YT channel.

More Doom and videogame content to come. See ya!

Episode 8 of my Temple of the Lizardmen 5 playthrough. I'm just gonna finish editing and uploading these final 3 videos all in one day. So Episodes 7-9 are all being done in under a 8 hour period. I have plenty of time, and I've got nothing better to do.

I also changed my mind about the dates I'm uploading these videos. I didn't want to wait until past August for all these episodes to be visible, so I bumped down the scheduled dates several days. As long as there's just 1 day in between uploads I'm sure they will have plenty of time to process in 1080p.

Only one more episode to edit today and then I'm free to start recording new material. Perhaps it will be 1.7.10 modded Minecraft, or it will be Space Cats Saga Chapter 1. I hear that CH2 is officially being released in the near future, so maybe I should get a jump start on that. Or I could just start working on editing my Starbound videos. Still undecided.

Anyway, more Doom and videogame content to come!

Welcome to the 7th Episode of my Temple of the Lizardmen 5 Playthrough. Only 2 more episodes after this.

This episode we reach the final hub of the game and the maps get VERY difficult. Also you'll notice they are a lot darker than the previous maps. Nothing like Torture Chambers from Episodes 2 and 4 though. TOLM 3 had some pretty dark themes as well.

It's gonna take me a while to get used to setting these videos as public at a much later date because I've already got 4 episodes uploaded and waiting to become visible on their scheduled dates. Originally I had this video set to publicly be available by mid-August, but I significantly tuned down the amount of time between uploads.

Anyway, more Doom and videogame content to come! If you could like, subscribe, or comment if you haven't already I'd greatly appreciate it! Don't forget to provide some feedback for my channel as well!

Hello everyone and welcome to Episode 6 of my Temple of the Lizardmen Chapter 5 Playthrough! I finally recover all the skulls for the hub map which means we're nearing the end of this series! ( 3 more videos to be exact. Unless I decide to go back to TOLM 4 and visit the multiple secret exits.)

After this, as I've been saying, I'm probably gonna start some work on a new game, or work on the Doom Space Cats Saga TC. If for whatever reason I cease to be able to upload to YT, I will have backups in store on various sites. (As soon as some of them gain a friendly upload process.)

I've been under the weather lately, so my attitude hasn't been the brightest. But everything I said, I meant and I won't renege on anything I said. If my 3rd Episode of TOLM 5 upset some of you, well we'll just have to deal with the consequences. I know what an absurd thing to expect from people, accountability!

As I stated before, I'm kind of blazing through these uploads and edits. While the TOLM mapsets are amazing, I didn't intend on this series taking around 2 months to finish. It helps that I had some setbacks, and I was still learning Corel Video Studio's basic mechanics and UI. But I want to be done with it and record other things.

So that said, more Doom and videogame content to come soon!

Rapid-firing off these edits and uploads so I can blaze through the TOLM series and clear a LOT of space off my SSD. It helps that I'm taking notes as I watch the full videos before actually using the video editor. I'm currently working on uploading this 3rd video in under a 24 HR period.

I think I've decided after I finish up with TOLM I'll work on my Starbound uploads and sprinkle some MC in between periodically, or just remove the old Starbound content I have and restart later. I might prefer that route honestly. As much as I love the Starbound mods I play with, nothing can fix the lackluster story the game has.

If I'm playing the modded Minecraft pack I want to, I can at least build things more smoothly. No real story to be had, other than survive on Hardcore. I've never tried a Hardcore playthrough before, but I gave it a demo run the other night. Honestly had a lot of fun, but I had to stop before I learned too much about the mods without recording.

Probably not terribly exciting news for a channel called, "Doomguy," but I have to do what I want so I don't get burnt out. Not like I'm halting Doom uploads forever.

I might also still focus on Space Cats Saga. Like I said I don't know yet. I want to upload all my remaining TOLM videos probably within the week and offload some memory from my computer before I move on.

You can always leave a comment suggesting which mods/games and such you guys would prefer to watch. As long as I have the game, anyway.

As promised back to the fun stuff. Collecting more skulls in TOLM 5 and making some decent progress. Of course, I stumble across some maps when it comes to finding all the secrets. And we finally find a new weapon!

I'm not really great at making youtube summaries. I feel if you're watching this far into my Temple of the Lizardmen uploads, you know what to expect. As for Doom itself, I honestly don't know what I'm going to do about future uploads once I'm finished with TOLM.

The communities really suck the fun out of the experience. I may take a break from Doom and go into some MC or Starbound, (of which I already started recoding.) Unless there's some drastic shift in the rampant decline of these various communities, I could actually forgo Doom for quite a while.

Watching people get banned for the dumbest reasons is just more of the same that I could get from watching news or paying attention to twatter. At least it's not just the US reaching the boiling point.

If I had stable internet 10 years ago, perhaps I could now be an already established content creator worrying about getting canceled for something I said online back in the prime days of gaming culture. Instead, now I have to contend with having opposing views and being silenced right at the start.

1 week, 4 days ago

The below warning was only because uploaded this to youtube. Doubt many people on Bitchute will find my opinion "wrong."

Warning. This episode contains some controversial opinions. There is a LOT wrong with multiple gaming communities out there. I address some specific to Doom. Censorship and cancel culture do not belong in places we just want to unwind and enjoy ourselves in.

NOTE: I'd love nothing more than to NOT get political, but when literally every place I turn to for entertainment does so, it becomes impossible.

We as a whole need to stop caving to these demands to dumb everything down for people that are easily offended. That doesn't mean to ignore common courtesy and just try to be as much of a jack-hole as possible. Did people forget about the Golden Rule, growing up?

Not a lot of fun edits in this episode I'm afraid. I fully expect to get some negative comments for this video as well, by the virtue police. Can't win them all.

Rest assured the rest of the videos don't cover this topic and are back to the regular format of just trying to have fun.

10/13/21 I've found a reliable way to ensure that uploads are successful so I'm thinking I'll just delete the old RLA videos and upload them altogether in proper order. I don't like how Thy Flesh Consumed comes after a few episodes of Doom II, and how I'm missing a few episodes of Plutonia and I have none of the TNT footage uploaded here. Below is the original youtube description for this episode:

Hello everyone and welcome to the second episode of my TOLM 5 playthrough! As always, playing around with different settings and such.

I became ill about a week ago, so that's slowed down the editing progress I would have liked to make by this point. This video has a few cuts here and there, but upon playback it seems up to par with the rest of my videos.

From this episode forward, all the content of TOLM 5 is brand new to me. (Except for the Finale. Botched recordings. =/ ) Some episodes are longer than the others but they each cover at least 2 maps for the most part.

I think I will go ahead and finish up the editing on TOLM 5 rapidly, but keep the premiere dates about a week apart. That way I can clear some space on my hard drive for more game footage, but I'm also not flooding my channel with a video or 2 every other day.

I still have many more Doom projects I want to cover and I need to get a move on. Sadly I can't record too much HD footage and just leave it hanging.

But the difference between my original encoded 720p footage and 1080p is too worthwhile to pass up, especially on very dark maps. I know Doom isn't the first thing that comes to mind when we're talking about graphics and detail, but modern maps and the GZDoom engine can allow for some pretty aesthetically pleasing visuals.

No promises, but I could be finished up with this series by the end of the month! Assuming my health keeps on the fast track to recovery.

As always more Doom and videogame content to come!

FYI I have backups of all my original uploads on Ugetube. They have a very simple upload from youtube feature, and copyright bots won't spam claim my videos for snippets of music used.

Hey everybody, I've finally begun uploading the TOLM 5 footage! I had quite a few setbacks spanning for several weeks so I'm further behind than I'd like to be. Trying some new things here and there such as new title pics and spending WAY less time in the actual video editor.

I've changed to just re-watching the videos as they are recorded and taking notes during the process, so I can easily jump to where edits or cuts need to be made. Makes dealing with Corel Video Studio a lot more manageable.

With the end of Temple of the Lizardmen coming up I have several ideas I want to take with this channel. Until I finalize a design concept for thumbnails and such, expect frequent changes.

I MIGHT throw Doom videos on the back burner for a while so I can focus on different games I'd like to upload to the channel. I still have a certain mod I'd like to re-record though. It involves space and nekos!

If you have a request of a mod for me to play or review, or any other advice, feel free to share it in the comments. Criticism is also welcome. I can't improve if I don't see the flaws in my content.

As always, more Doom and videogame content to come!

The final episode of the Temple of the Lizardmen 4 total conversion mod by Alondo1! I say final episode of his mod because I'm not sure if it's actually going to be the end of my TOLM 4 uploads. While I still have Episode 5 to record, TOLM 4 has MANY secret levels that I skipped due to taking alternative exits.

It has branching secret maps depending on which exit you take on core maps. There's plenty more TOLM 4 to cover along with additional mini-bosses! Not to mention of course, plenty more beautiful locations to discover!

I'm going to be more selective about what Doom mods I want to cover in the future. The Doom community is complicated. Let's just say I'm not on board with rampant heavy-handed censorship.

However, the ones in charge of the various communities love it. As much as I wanted to be an active member of the modding community, there are far too many temper-tantrums in them.

And no, I didn't receive any punishments on these platforms, I've just seen the ridiculous circumstances where others have. I won't support that nonsense. Nor will I support anyone that advocates that kind of abuse in power. Hivemind mentality is sugar-coating it.

Rant out of the way, more Doom and videogame content to come!

As usual I'm too lazy to re-write an entire description for every late upload here onto Bitchute. If something doesn't make sense in the commentary or here in the description, a lot of things have changed since originally uploading these videos. Specifically dates and schedules.

Hey everybody this is a re-upload brought to you by West One Music Group! You can thank them for the potential ear pain caused by the volume of parts of one map.

This mod used one of their tracks and there was no way they were acknowledging fair use on a youtube channel with under 10 subscribers. So I just plunked Xerotroid's remake of map 31's track from Evilution on top to mask it.

I'm pretty pissed off. I tried to edit this to the best I could, but Corel as usual is a VERY SHITTY program to use. The edits that actually show up in this finished product are CLOSE to what I actually added. Somehow they jumbled up some text and a scroll function isn't even working correctly.

Can't really expect much from this company when their tutorials show glorified slide shows instead of actual videos.

Rant out of the way, I'm done recording all of TOLM 5. I've also begun recording a different game I want to eventually upload to this channel. They're both currently about 10 videos worth of content so edits and uploads might be a while.

If for whatever reason I receive more bogus claims, you can watch my video backups on UgeTube. Perhaps if Bitchute ever decides to allow uploads to process again, I'll attempt to upload them there as well. They only have a portion of my RLA recordings on there right now.

https://ugetube.com/@Doomguy914

You Fix it episodes will no longer be uploaded by me. The Doom community decided to throw another tantrum on the political spectrum and I found some things I really can not morally support. Cancel culture destroys everything.

I'm going to peel away from Doom forums until some common sense returns to the majority. Still will upload modded Doom videos, I just won't directly advertise for any upcoming ones. With maybe one exception.

More Doom and videogame content to come!

Welcome everyone to my playthrough of Temple of the Lizardmen 4! It took a long time and multiple recording attempts, but I think I finally have a good setup for full 1080 video editing with mic commentary!

My voice quality still needs some tweaking in OBS settings. I'm not satisfied with the stutter and fuzz sound that sometimes accompanies it, but it sure as heck beats painstakingly adding text overlays for every little instance in the footage!

Also due to the increase in quality compared to 720p, I'm setting this to become public the day after I post it. We'll see if this works out, or if instant publishing is the way to go. Youtube has been very reliable so far in this regard.

That's it. I hope you guys enjoy and if you did, would love to read your comments. Subscribe if you want to see more Doom and gaming content from someone that is above average at it!

Welcome everyone to the finale of temple of the Lizardmen 3! This video took longer than the others because I tried some new things in the video editor and complications kept arising. But I finally finished this part of the series!

The boss fight feels pretty well-rounded, but the final maps have a steep difficulty curve and an onslaught of monsters. Expect to have a few deaths when playing these maps yourself. I miss some secrets here and there, but for the most part I try to 100 percent the maps. The secrets are VERY well hidden in these mods.

NOTE: The mod author suggests using official patches for TOLM to run smoother on newer versions of GZDoom. I just use Dark Doom in order to get flashlights working. The mod and its patches can be found on the forum below:

https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=68259

After tackling these recent uploads I've learned something. I really hate adding text overlays in the editing process. The editor I use doesn't play nicely with my computer and it's just a cause of annoyance most of the time. So starting with TOLM 4, all my game uploads will have mic commentary.

With more time to actually edit the footage I can dedicate more time to enhanced visuals and other improvements. Which is a good thing, because the Doom mods I'm going to be covering are going to get more hands-on in the controls and gameplay.

Don't forget to like, subscribe, share, and comment on the videos if you enjoyed them. It really helps me out a lot and my content will only improve further!

Hello everyone and welcome to my sixth episode of my Temple of the Lizardmen 3 Playthrough!

I am absolutely pumped! The mod author was the first commenter for the TOLM series! And we only have 1 more episode to go before my videos feature full mic commentary! Way less editing hassle for me!

Episode 6 introduces a significant difficulty curve. Partially due to my own restrictions as well, like my no save scum rule. But the maps are absolutely dark and sinister, with a heavy emphasis on intelligent combat.

I wasn't sure where to end this video, but I found the perfect pause between this section and the final few maps of the mod. The thematic story progression really enhanced the experience throughout this mod. I'm a little sad I'm almost done.

But then again, there are plenty of other Doom mods and wads that hold a special place in my heart and I will do my best to eventually share all the fun with you!

More Doom and videogame content to come! Please leave a like, comment, and subscription if you love Doom!

The fifth episode of my TOLM 3 playthrough. In this episode we enter the Shadow Realm. The maps are a lot darker in theme, and a lot harder to handle. And some mini-bosses! Fun fun!

Good news. I entirely scrapped the old TOLM 4 footage and recorded all of it with a new mic. The Tonor Q9. It's not the best, but it beats the Vitade webcam mic! I can only improve from this point forward...hopefully. Unless I REALLY mess up my microphone recording settings.

That will also save me a lot of time in the video editing process. For now, I'm finishing up TOLM 3 without any mic commentary added at the editing phase. Try and keep things nice and neat with the rest of the TOLM 1-3 videos.

With the reduction in time it'll take to edit these videos, that gives me more time to record/edit different mods and games. I just needed a trial period to get the microphone setup. I'm fairly confident my voice will record fine for the most part.

Please like and comment on the video. I can't stress enough the value any valid criticism would provide me. I'm very glad that you guys are watching my videos, but I'd love some actual feedback.

That's it. More Doom and videogame content to come!

Welcome to my video playthrough of Temple of the Lizardmen 3!

This is episode 4 starting on the map, "Burial Grounds," but also includes my favorite map in the entire TOLM series, "Secret Cave!"

So I've done some mic testing and I've come to a conclusion. This Vitade webcam records great video, but the audio capture is utter garbage. I don't know how my settings weren't terrible on Twitch several months ago, but now I can't even clean up the audio well enough using filters in OBS.

So for now until I can get better hardware, no mic commentary will continue, and I WILL scrap my footage of TOLM 4 and try again at a later date. The audio quality is absolutely terrible and even tweaking later episodes, my voice goes from normal volume to the point where you can barely understand a word I say. Can't fix that in the editing process. =/

I still have many more mods to upload and I've decided I really want to jump back into modded Starbound as well. Perhaps once I finish the TOLM 3 uploads, I can afford myself some free time to take a small break from Doom.

The third part of my playthrough of Temple of the Lizardmen 3: Curse of the Shadow Serpent! I know it's slow going, but I ventured into other projects in between video edits. More exciting gameplay has already been recorded!

I worked on this video off and on for like a week. Between trying different mods and starting the "You Fix it" series of uploads, this thing was sitting around 75% for about 5 days. I finally sat down and plunked away at it.

We're rapidly approaching the best map this mod has IMO. Story elements, beautiful scenery, and a very wonderful soundtrack. Also hides the best weapon in the mod. It even has some feels if you're into that. I know I am.

After the Lizardmen saga, I have a bunch of Doom, Heretic, and Hexen mods to cover. I THINK my next project will involve the Space Cats Saga, although
that could appear before episode 4 of TOLM.

And of course I want to upload more game content in the future. Let me know if you have any requests.

I'm still on the fence on how to go about future recordings. Whether I should use a mic or not, will depend on the reception Episode 4 of TOLM receives. Crappy webcam mic picks up a lot of background noise and keystrokes.

Anyway, please like, subscribe, and share my videos with your friends! See ya next episode in the Burial Grounds!

The second part of my playthrough of Temple of the Lizardmen 3: Curse of the Shadow Serpent!

I'm trying to break these uploads apart into nice and balanced sections, not only by length, but by breaking down the story. TOLM 3 has an interesting storyline and some interesting characters. Goddess and Gods, mythology, etc.

I really enjoy them. The author and the other people that helped with this project really breathed some new life into what GZDoom was capable of. I love to just take the time and look at the beautiful atmospheric maps Doom mod creators can make!

After the Lizardmen saga, I have a bunch of Doom, Heretic, and Hexen mods to cover. Some are brand new straight off the forums and no-one has covered them yet!

And of course I want to upload more game content in the future. Let me know if you have any requests.

The first video covering my playthrough of TOLM3. It's gonna be multiple videos long compared to the others so far. Episodes 4 and 5 will be the same.

This video was originally an hour and 45 minutes, but Corel did it's thing again where it throws a fit and scraps an entire video in progress. I'm getting pretty irritated with this crap program. It not only tried to freezeframe over half of the video, but also jumbled up all my text overlays.

I'm just doing my best to keep the uploads going. I still have to play catch-up on Bitchute before I can make some room on my 500GB SSD. As I upload this currently I have a little over 90GB just dedicated to finished videos I have yet to upload.

I also back these up on Odysee, but due to their atrocious search algorithms, even compared to YT, I don't advocate the use of that site at all. In fact, I hope the SEC nukes it. It's the Pay2Win of video upload sites. Very unfriendly to basic users and a pain to setup properly in the first place.

Also they lie vehemently when they say there is no bias in searches. Try for yourself if you don't believe me. Look up anything Doom related and all you'll find are the highest LBC boosted uploads!

I've already recorded episode 4 of TOLM, but due to the sound quality of my mic, I may end up re-doing it. Also, the 4th episode is unique when it handles secret progression with many different branching paths. Even the different playable characters have different stats.

As soon as I finish uploading episodes 3 and 4 to completion, I can focus on the final chapter in the Temple of the Lizardmen. As with episode 4 I never played episode 5 so it will be a blind playthrough. Then I move onto other mods and games! Should be exciting!

Be sure to like and subscribe for more content. And leave some comments! I have 23 videos up now and all I've received is spam.

Description from the youtube upload:

I've got something different this time around. Trading in fast-paced Doom gameplay for more of an adventure setting, with story. That's not to say it's easy, however, as they really hold out on the ammo.

TOLM has 5 episodes, only 3 of which I've actually played so we're all in for a surprise. I have a ton of other TC mods downloaded and ready to be played and recorded, and perhaps after that I'll move back to more adaptable mods and just play some Megawads. Perhaps even throw some vanilla gameplay in there to switch it up.

And of course as I mentioned before, I don't plan for this channel to solely be Doom, although that's definitely its main focus.

This episode took a lot longer than I expected it to. I did a lot of editing nonsense to try and fix some issues the mod had, like dialogue disappearing too quickly.

The third Episode in the mod series makes a drastic change from the pace of TOLM 1 and 2, and will be edited into multiple videos. It's pretty long and has multiple episodes in the wad itself. I'm not even finished recording it yet!

Also, I've been trying to get all my videos uploaded on other video sites. It's been a chore.

Screw Odysee's Pay to Win algorithm search scheme. If they ever change it to something more versatile, I'll try going back one day. I would have kept my channel and my videos uploaded there as a backup precaution, but that site is likely getting shut down soon anyway. With how they used the highest bidder formula to suggest videos and essentially hide others, I won't be missing them.

Anyway, more Doom and gaming videos to come soon. I also have a backlog of a bunch of newer Doom mods I kind of told some people I'd be recording to show them off. Bitter Heretic and Hexen Walpurgis among them.

More to come stick around!

The reason this took so long to get around to is because I was trying to be a perfectionist when it came to the editing software, and I have at best amateur grade software. =/

Seriously, every time I try and add a custom motion, Corel practically crashes. I'm kind of back to disliking it since I've found more effects and such, but the program almost crashes when trying to utilize them. It's tedious.

I didn't add any custom music and I didn't do the animated in-game introduction. That's all the Mod author. I just opened up Slade and removed a graphic here and there.

Plenty more of Temple Doom to come, as the Episodes get much longer and the maps become more technical. Stay tuned!

Hey everybody, Doomguy914 here with the finale episode of Space Cats Saga Chapter 1! It's taken a while and involved the use a WHOLE new program, but I finally finished this project. Sorry it took so long, multiple complications along the way.

Had a bit more fun with some editing ideas this time around. Warning right now, some of this video gets pretty loud. The original take of this recording was a nightmare for me. I've included a small section of clips from the first recording attempts. (They are the loud parts in the video I am referring to.)

I also downloaded a program that allows me to play the really old Flash games I enjoyed from the prime days of Newgrounds animation. I saved and downloaded some of my favorite flash games so expect a video or 2 including some of them.

Space Cats is a Total Conversion mod that has you play as Commander Aemi; a badass femme-fatale, feline who can cleave a swath of demons with just her claws alone! If that wasn't enough, she has a full arsenal at her disposal with some very powerful alt-fires!

With a unique energy system integrated into most of her weapons, this mod provides some very fun combat! The locations you visit in deep space and in Hell, are very beautiful to admire, but there's a LOT of enemies in this one.

It doesn't become slaughter-like until the later maps, but there's still plenty of action! As usual I play with Fast Monsters enabled, but unlike other runs, this is a Pistol-start playthrough. (Only because the weaponry is overpowered.)

If you guys like what you see, you can download the mod on the GZDoom forum page!

https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=69553

Also it has a sequel that was just released! Even more felines with plenty of varied firepower and skills! (I beta-tested this one to completion so I know it's a blast!)

https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=72996

As always, more Doom and videogame content to come! Don't forget to leave a comment for some feedback! I'm always striving to improve the quality of my videos if I am able to.

Hey everybody, Doomguy914 here with the sixth episode of Space Cats Saga Chapter 1! I went a little nuts in the editing this time around. Really wanted to see what Shotcut was capable of handling. I would have gone even further with a particular scene, but it would have included working with over 3000 images...

So far I believe that Corel Video Studio had the better interface in terms of how to do every video edit that was needed. However, with it's improved interface came massive lag. Something that couldn't be circumvented. So I am in fact removing CVS from my PC to free up some space and attempt to unclutter my desktop.

With SC1 coming to and end I need to start getting ready to record and upload the sequel! So look forward to that likely being my next series of uploads. If you have a mod that is relatively new or rather, ignored, suggest to me some of your favorites and I'll give them a shot!

(I screwed up the intro by accidentally using the Chapter 2 graphic. Small price to pay to be rid of Corel Video Studio forever.)

As usual the description is copied directly from my Youtube upload.

Hey everybody! Doomguy914 here with the fifth episode of Space Cats Chapter 1! I tried experimenting more with Shotcut and am slowly learning how to do the same edits I'm used to in Corel Video Studio, so hopefully the edits are a little more uniform. Also uploads should be a lot easier!

Pretty sure the ease of using Shotcut will just lead to me uninstalling Corel entirely. Paint.net and the other free programs I use to make my graphics and audio are working just fine. Plenty of online resources one can use as well. I'm currently using all of these: OBS, Paint.net, Shotcut, Audacity, and Handbrake. And I thought I was competent back when I streamed on Twitch...

As always, more Doom and videogame content to come! Don't forget to leave a comment for some feedback! I'm always striving to improve the quality of my videos if I am able to.

Also leave a suggestion for future mods you'd like to see me explore!

Bitchute seems to be running stable so I'll get these out as soon as I can and just leave the original descriptions of my Youtube uploads for now.

Hey everybody, welcome to epsiode4 of my Space Cats Saga Chapter 1 playthrough! I'm excited to announce that this video is made with Shotcut this time around!

Already seeing a vast improvement when using this program to edit videos instead of Corel Video Studio. Although It will take a while to fine tune everything in my videos the way I was used to in VS. But the constant hang-ups and crashes made CVS a NIGHTMARE to edit with. Shotcut may have crashed once or twice already, but there is practically NO interface lag. Video play back during the editing process is silky smooth.

I anticipate in the near future making short work of the editing process for my videos which could lead to content coming regularly! =D

Here's the 3rd episode of my playthrough of the first chapter of Space Cats Saga! The editing program that I frequently have trouble with REALLY decided to act up today, so the editing quality may not be up to par. I can only work with what I have. =/

The maps are getting longer and more chaotic. From long range monster placement to packed corridors. Also, some of the map colors may not render well for video encoding. A lot of bright pink reactors near the end that have some trouble and appear a bit fuzzy.

Episode 1 uploaded successfully so I'll attempt to get the entire series onto Bitchute. After that, I'll work on my Temple of the Lizardmen uploads and eventually the fully finished RLA series I first attempted to upload several months ago.

As always my original high quality videos can be found on my youtube channel or my Ugetube channel under Doomguy914!

I originally uploaded this late August on Youtube and the entire playthrough is available to view on my Youtube channel, Doomguy914. Supposedly there's been a breakthrough in properly uploading videos here so I'm giving it another try.

Also, Bitchute drastically reduces the video quality. My HD videos are available on my YT and on Ugetube under Doomguy914 as well. I finished recording and uploading all of my Temple of the Lizardmen Playthrough videos. If this series of upload attempts is successful, I'll have to re-download them to my computer from Youtube because I already removed the original videos from my hard drive to make space. I'd like to upload all the videos I've recorded up until this point to this channel once again.

Below is the original description taken directly from my Youtube upload:

Sadly this is becoming a Matt Tries until further notice. The game fights too much with both streaming programs causing game issues with one, and stream connection issues with the other.
But for what it's worth, I hope you enjoy the first impressions of F.E.A.R.

Neste Combinações do Alberto, carreguei os mods The Scarlet Hellion (Reckspants), Heretical Doom Monsters (Ryuhi), Nash’s Gore Mod (Nash Muhandes), Tilt++ (Nash Muhandes), Hexen 2 Texture Disguise for Doom 2 and Texture Pack (DBThanatos), BloomBoost (Pixel Eater), SBrightmaps (Z86), Doom Liquid textures pack (ProjectRemap) e Universal Weapon Sway (Boondorl).

O Alternate Quake Music Pack Jukebox é o permite reproduzir, de forma aleatória, as músicas alternativas do Quake reunidas no pacote do Greenwood.

A Nightdive Studios, a mesma do Blood: Fresh Supply, esteve envolvida nesse remaster. Parece que ficou tudo de boa. Usei também o Alternate Quake Music Pack (do Greenwood) para evitar problemas com copyright. Acho que ficou até melhor...
