I built this FPV Ground Station V1 while I was living in Thailand, at the time I was running an RC Aerial Photography Business (Vantage AP - Rebranded to VantageCam after a few years). I'm learning to fly a kwad FPV. Today exploring a pit and a hill. Tune gets better and image gets less wiggly.
I was flying my Rise Vusion 250 Drone in gusts of upto 25 mph. I got a a wind that got me into the trees. This is where Crital Thinking takes place. I could climb the tree fall and not get my drone. So I decided to take the saver route for me but not for my drone. I decided to use the drones motors to free its self. I had a feeling this would work because it hapoened to me before. I did not stop filming and decided to take it back up. Very reliable I must say. Sorry about the camera was very windy. My VTX reciver is fried so I had to record using the 5.8 ghz dvr lcd screen it came with. There is no sound but you can speed upto the crash at 2min and 20 sec marker.

This is my original design for an FPV Antenna Tracker that will be able to handle swinging 2 x 15dBi Yagi antennas around (easily). I'm still finalising the design so it's all just in 3D at the moment. 3D Done in eRain Swift3D and 2D mesh creation using Adobe Flash.

Following on from the other Pan / Tilts i've built, this is my newest design, specifically for my Twinstar II FPV ship. It is built to be nice & strong and very reliable, but yet not too heavy.

This tiny whoop is great fun. Practice your FPV and acro skills inside with this little beast of a quad-copter. Overview of the specs and flight footage
My son wants to get into drones, so while he's practicing on the simulator, I selected some gear and this little URUAV UR65 for him.
I got it setup and gave it a few tests. I like it!
I used:
- URUAV UR65 FrSky (using D8 protocol)
- Jumper T8SG V2 Advanced transmitter
- Quanum Cyclops V2 goggles
- 808 #16 camera with D lens
- Eachine EV100 Micro AV Recorder
