I just want to point out that in all the drama the community missed something important: A corporation switched from a proprietary solution to: AGPL, Decentralization, Federation.
People may not like the ideologies of some of our users and that's an opinion you get to have. But, to judge the whole company for 4-5% of our content (on par with Twitter) and just ignore this event for open source seems shortsighted.
Not our Fediverse. We are just a member. All are welcome.
In which the elasticity of Andrew Torba's principles are highlighted, as he embraces the decentralized software he once reviled, and in so doing ignites a shitstorm of pointless virtue signalling across the Mastodon side of the Fediverse.
DISCLAIMER: I do NOT own Gab or Dissenter and I am not an affiliate. I do not claim to own any copyrights or anything concerning the company. It is expressly owned by Andrew Torba. I do not own these VPN companies, I simply have used them and am making a fair use recommendation to how I think you should be protecting yourself when online.
Apologist Justin Derby takes a look at the Dissenter web browser that Gab rolled out to the public recently, fulfilling their promise to do so after their Dissenter app's browser extension was banned by Google and Mozilla's extension stores.
UKIP candidate in London for the European elections Richard Braine interviewed on BBC Breakfast show 18/05/19. The BBC manage to bring up Gab in onerather tenuous guilt by association. UKIP, Brexit, the Brexit Party, Farage and Sargon are also discussed
Gab gets a bad rap for being ‘Alt-Right’ because they allow any kind of content on their platform, but it is perfect because their posting system keeps you up to date on comments and reposts, which allows people to keep current on your work - exactly what marketing is about - awareness.
Twitter may block you for ‘wrong think’, but it is a great resource to learn all aspects of game development - how to work with different engines, different softwares, how to draw and so much more.
During an interview Published yesterday by Ramzpaul, Patrick Casey, The leader of the American Identity Movement, gives his thoughts on Gab and states that "There is something wrong with you" if you post Holocaust memes. Feel free to repost and republish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfMW8tph9Xg
The MSM and establishment got Blair Cottrell, Neil Erikson and other outside voices banned from Twitter and Facebook for saying things they don’t like, now they are upset that these people are still speaking on Gab.
Gab offers people a platform to speak their minds and speak freely, it’s rules are based on the US first amendment, as such the people in charge are entirely against it.
We need free speech and peaceful discussion now more than ever, but those in charge want to take that from us just as much.
Stay strong, we will win in the end, we just need to hold firm and stand our ground.
Dissenter is a web app that allows you to leave comments on any URL on the internet. This, essentially, brings comment sections to everything even if for a particular video or article the comments have been disabled. Hence why Dissenter is known as "The Comments Section of the Internet". Where would humanity be without it's ability to comment? I don't want to find out, and Dissenter is one bulwark against encroaching speech regulations by Silicone Valley based tech companies.
It's game over for the censors, as God Mode is now enabled for all internet comments. Dissenter seems to work really well. This stream is going to be dedicated to mocking some of those who ban comments.
Michael Knowles talks about Twitter and GAB. Brought to you by the Liberty Lion. I am in no way employed by GAB.COM, I just shamelessly promote it! SPEAK FREELY!
When compared to Twitter, GAB is not really any worse. Many of the people are Vets, soldiers, Conservatives & Libritarians. Im sure many of them would love to hear the voice of the execrable Michael Knowles! Many of the "bigots" are Leftist Trolls trying destroy the platform.
In which we discuss a number of statements, actions, and decisions made by one Andrew Torba in the immediate aftermath of Gab's ceremonious return to the internet, and consider which side of Hanlon's Razor the service now finds itself upon.
Gab is a social media platform similar to Twitter. It allows it's users to post 'Gabs' of 300 characters, along with other types of media. Gab is committed completely to free speech, and this has earned it a reputation of being only for right wing extremists, though the platform has a diversity of political and religious opinions.
After the incident at the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue that left 11 dead, Gab was taken offline because the perpetrator was a user of Gab.
This has brought to light the type of power that privately owned internet service companies have. Should they have the power to deplatform sites/users based solely on speech?
It's high time an Internet AND Public Speaking Bill of Rights were introduced not just in the USA but across the world too. Watch and listen to the video to find out more as well as my opinion on Censorship.
Gab – the free speech alternative to Twitter – has been forced off the internet. Big tech companies have colluded to deny Gab hosting and financial services in a bid to deny freedom of speech on the internet.

An interview with Andrew Torba about how Gab was purged from the Internet because Big Tech is terrified of competition. This attack was also in unison with a main stream media smear campaign, slandering Andrew Torba and the site itself, with the accusation that Gab was allegedly a white supremacist site run by and for white supremacists. This accusation is provably false. By provably read as: PROVABLE IN A COURT OF LAW.
A last-ditch effort to allow free speech on the Internet has been thwarted by a monopolistic cartel of technology companies, who have been conspiring with the fake news industry. This video explains how telling the truth really has become a revolutionary act.
True Conservatives have long scoffed at complaints from the right-wing rabble about censorship online. "Go out and build your own thing if you don't like it!" they shriek whenever a conservative is shadowbanned or deplatformed. The True Conservative sings the praises of the "free market" on the Internet, as if it will solve all of our problems.
Andrew Torba built his own thing. Gab was built as a direct competitor to Big Tech's social media...and he was deplatformed for it. Alex Jones built InfoWars, and it was deplatformed as well. It seems that every time a conservative or right-leaning individual tries to build something, the "free market" unites to completely destroy it.
Perhaps there is no "free market" on the Internet after all.
Gab being taken down sucks. It's fascist censorship based on falsehoods. Hm...sounds familiar. If you celebrate this, just wait. You will feel it soon enough. Every fascist regime starts by trying to silence the dissidents. Then anyone in the way. Then anyone who is a drain on their resources. Then just anyone they're in the mood to genocide. Fight now while you still can!

We present Gab's response to blame being laid at their doorstep for the Tree of Life murders on Saturday, last. We also ask the question, "What is the reason those who espouse the same ideals, morals or values; go after each other?" As a set-up for this broadcast we hear from Tim Pool regarding an incident very similar to the question we are posing. --------------------------------- Acknowledgements:
CNN once again takes the lead as mainstream media identifies free speech as the enemy after the synagogue shooting. And we see the next level of censorship from the neocon military industrial establishment as Gab is blocked by PayPal and GoDaddy & Joyent block hosting immediately even though the alleged shooter was also on other social media.
Full interview with Andrew Torba, CEO of Gab.com, post Synagogue Shooting. NPR will likely cut this down so this is the full interview unedited. Original file from Andrew Torba's periscope and Gab post today.
Update: GoDaddy, Gab's domain registrar, announced last night they were severing ties with Gab. Gab is officially offline as of this morning. I'll have more to say on this in a future episode.
Gab is under assault by the Left yet again. Hosting company Joyent advised Gab Saturday afternoon that they were going to be terminating their hosting agreement with the social network, effective Monday at 9:00 AM. Joyent's threat is the latest in a long line of attempts to destroy the right-leaning, free speech focused Gab. At this time it is unclear if Gab will be able to survive this new attack.
I'll explain why the Left has renewed their attacks on Gab, and why they want to kill the social media network at all costs.
A terrorist attack against a Synagogue in which 11 people have died is being exploited by tech companies to undermine a potential competitor and attack free speech. The synagogue-shooter used a free-speech platform called gab, and even though he also used Facebook, gab is being blamed for his murders and being shut down by it’s hosting site and banned from pay-pal. It’
The shut down of Gab is a dangerous precedent, because it’s a kin to don’t shutting down a telephone company for the conversations being held on it. Its ironic because facebook is more liable for it’s content, since they pick and choose what content is on there and thus have an editorial position.
It’s important to note that there were attempts to shut down Gab through demonetisation before the shooting. The powers that be don’t care about the people who died, they only care about their bottom line.
Silicon valley doesn’t want any competition, they want to maintain their monopoly. When given the choice between free speech and restricted speech people will flock to the free platform. Facebook and Twitter began banning people randomly sometimes with no reason given, so people flocked to free speech platforms , like Vk, minds, Gab, now they're trying to ban that too leaving no place to go.
Will there be no vestige of free speech on the internet?
They talk about hate speech, I’m a middle easterners and a Muslim, and I’m sure Gab has allowed users to make disparaging comments about us. And I fully support their right to do so, it is free speech. You either support free speech or you don’t. You see, I myself have been the target of Censorship, I was called a Russian bot, my facebook was blocked for 6 months, my youtube channel has constantly been targeted for shut own. The road to total censorship is clear, first the excuse for censorship is anti-violence, then anti-hate, then it becomes "anti-foreigners meddling", their end game is to censor of anti-war & anti-government dissidents.
In this video, Luke and Jason of WeAreChange break down the latest information on the insanity going on in the world this week. With all the censorship that is not being reported on it is clear that free speech is over and it's only going to get worse.
Congressional candidate Paul Nehlen has been banned from Gab for doxxing right-wing firebrand Ricky Vaughn. Gab CEO and founder Andrew Torba took to Periscope to explain exactly why Nehlen was banned. Here are my thoughts on the matter.
