1. Pixar's Soul Bypasses Theaters (0:22): Soul, which was originally slated to come out on November 20, 2020 originally got delayed into 2021. Well, Disney has changed their minds and decided to put it directly onto Disney Plus instead. This will not be PVOD like Mulan was. This will be free for ALL DISNEY PLUS SUBSCRIBERS
2. Disney Reorganizes to Prioritize Streaming (3:23): This comes directly from Bob Chapek himself. Disney will create a new Media and Entertainment Distribution Group responsible for both the dissemination and ad sales for all of its content. The content will still be created by the studios owned by them that are headed by Alan Horn, Alan Bergman, Peter Rice, and James Pitaro respectively
3. 2021 WILL Be A Box Office Disaster (6:18): An analyst for B. Riley, Eric Wold has lowered his financial forecasts and stock price targets for exhibition companies, but says "attendance can approach 2019 levels in 2022."
4. Gal Gadot to play Cleopatra in New Biopic (17:00): The movie is set to star Gal Gadot as The Queen of Egypt with Patty Jenkins at the helm to Direct. Laeta Kalogridis has penned the script. She was one of the Writers on Terminator: Genisys and was also the Show Runner for the Birds Of Prey TV Series that was on The CW/WB back in the early 2000s. This movie will be produced by Charles Roven of Atlas Entertainment along with Gal Gadot and Jaron Varsano of The Pilot Wave Motion Pictures Banner. This movie will be distributed by Paramount Pictures
5. Furiosa Movie Gets Cast (23:22): The Long Awaited Prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road finally got its cast. Anya Taylor-Joy is set to play Furiosa. Chris Hemsworth and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are also cast, but their roles are unknown at this time
6. GLOW Cast Asks Viewers to Petition Netflic for a GLOW Movie (27:13): The Cast of the now cancelled GLOW Series got together on a LiveStream and asked fans to start $SaveGLOW and to go old school by sending Netflix letters to make the movie a reality after Netflix cancelled the Fourth and Final Season recently despite the fact that Season 4 was Green Light
7. Coming To America 2 Moving From Theaters To Amazon (32:05): Paramount Pictures and Amazon are in talks with moving Coming To America 2 from the Theatrical Release Schedule to put it up on Amazon Prime instead. Paramount has done this with other movies this year like Trial of the Chicago 7 and The Lovebirds (both sold to Netflix). The deal is potentially worth $125 Million

The year 2020 has been a tough one for many industries including entertainment. Several movies have been delayed and now 2021 is shaping up to have too many movies and not enough of an audience. Originally slated to come out in December 2019, Wonder Woman 1984 was pushed twice. The latest rumor around the Wonder Woman 1984 movie is it will be available for streaming on the WB service in December 2020. Is this more than a rumor? Is this just a trial balloon? Is it true?
Channel Dad Bryon Lape reads an article by Christian Bone on the We Got This Covered website. Is this a real rumor from Warner Brothers? Only one source is sited for the release of Wonder Woman 1984 on streaming. Is it just Christian Bone writing to get more clicks to the We Got This Covered website? Is it perhaps Warner Brothers floating a trial balloon to see how the audience will react? Bad news for Wonder Woman fans. The release for the follow-up movie Wonder Woman 1984 directed by Patty Jenkins and staring Gal Gadot is on hold, yet again. The release date for this movie has been changed several times and now it has been pushed to October 2. Yeah, that seems quite odd.

The release date for Wonder Woman 1984 has been changed several times for various reasons, the latest being movie theaters around the world are not open. In the United States, early October is not know for having blockbuster releases, but the movie release landscape is about to get very crowded as all summer movies have been delayed.

Why the name “Channel Dad”? Why does Bryon Lape use that so much that he renamed his channel to reflect it? That is a most excellent question. When he decided to create a Blue Ocean Strategy for his channel, Bryon Lape decided to connect people and ideas. Though he does interviews from time to time, it is not a main thrust of his channel. Finding people with different ideas and connecting them with others is what he does best. The connecting is a talent Bryon Lape has had for years. When Jeff Hicks of the World Class Bullshitters gave him the title of “Channel Dad,” it was due to him driving the group to various events and connecting them with others. The Blue Ocean Strategy that Bryon Lape creates gives a more balanced approach to various pop culture events, even as Jeremy of Geeks + Gamers rants. Jeremy’s energy is balanced by Channel Dad’s moderated approach, giving members of the Fandom Menace a scale upon which to measure their own impressions. This is obvious from his Star Wars, DCEU, and MCU videos, so please delight in the other stuff too.
The DCEU cannot seem to get a break. Now the Wonder Woman 1984 movie has been delayed and there are issues on The Batman set and with Robert Pattinson. The Snyder cut of Justice League might actually be created and Ben Affleck could be back as Batman. One the funs for a DCEU fan. What is next? The Wonder Twins?

The year 2020 was supposed to be the year of the female lead action and super hero movies. Instead, it was the year of something else. Among the several movies set to come out in the summer of 2020 was Wonder Woman 1984. Gal Gadot as Diana Prince was back to throw some baddies around as the beautiful and strong Wonder Woman. The trailers promised a great ride and plot details were being speculated by fans. Well, that’s on hold till at least August.
Channel Dad Bryon Lape reads an article by Eric Francisco on Inverse. In lieu of Wonder Woman 1984 being released to theaters, five photos from the movie has been revealed to help fans hold over till the big event. In them, Wonder Woman is seen fighting Cheetah in the White House, Diana and Steve are in Spain, and they have tender moment at the Reflection Pond between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Jeremy of Geeks + Gamers loves to rant, usually about Star Wars and Lucasfilm. Channel Dad Bryon Lape is a founding member of The Fandom Menace, so why doesn’t he rant more? He personally knows Jeff of World Class Bullshitters and has recorded videos with him. Bryon Lape also knows the other members of the World Class Bullshitters and brought the fans together to create the podcast called The Fan Caste. He is older than Uncle Ethan as well. So why not rant more?
Ranting is negative energy and all it brings is more negativity. Jeremy may grow the Geeks and Gamers channel with his style and that is good for him. Jeff takes a more middle of the road approach with the World Class Bullshitters, but it is his factual toy videos, in particular the Star Wars toys, that has made his channel grow quite well. Channel Dad Bryon Lape takes a more positive approach to his channel and covers items that interest him. This does include Star Wars, the MCU, and other Pop Culture items, but it is not limited to that realm. Bryon Lape is also interested in Fitness, Health, Photography, Computer Generated Images (check out his DAZ Studio attempts….and yes, he is learning Blender), and many other topics. That is why his channel is varied.

Carol Danvers is Marvel Comics' latest version of Captain Marvel. Fans are expecting to see Monica Rambeau appear in the Ms. Marvel show on Disney+. There is a good chance that Ms. Marvel will also have a part in Captain Marvel 2 and Avengers 5. She will surely be in the A Force movie as well. DC Comics looks to continue the good movie trend with Wonder Woman 1984. Steve Trevor will be brought forward in time and Diana Prince will fight as Wonder Woman in the winged suit. Fans are anticipating a good movie and story line, but will Steve survive or return to his own time?
