With the end of Feb, I'm taking a little bit of time off because I need a good rest. I've had a good time getting so much accomplished.
I got the 4th draft of Tales from Trinity City rulebook finished. By April, I will have the read edit with my Fiancee done - which is one step away from the public release.
For the Trinity City beta campaign, I got the basic outline for the full story, and I am working on the basic outline for the first three missions. By the end of April, I want to have the full outline for all the individual missions - so I am ready to write the missions for the Beta test. I am aiming for the end of June this year for that.
For Tales from the Internet, I have the rough drafts of the stories and I am working on the full outlines for each of the stories. By April, I hope to have the 3rd drafts done.
For social media, I am experiencing a huge amount of growth on Minds, I am getting almost 5k upvotes per month and around 300 subs. I hope to have almost 1800 subs with 6-7k upvotes per month by April.
For the World Building Blogs/videos, I caught up recording the last world building blog I wrote. I want to write and then record the recent history blog to complete the history package. Then I want to write the culture blogs by the end of April.

Nat builds a Silent Hill 2 inspired 3D level in Unity, based primarily on Silent Hill's Brookhaven Hospital. Her goal is to create a 3D survival horror level in Unity, and have people play using one of several sets of camera types (fixed, first person, third person over-the-shoulder) to test how cameras affect the sense of unease. Do fixed, cinematic cameras like the original Silent Hill games and the Resident Evil Playstation trilogy convey a higher sense of dread than character-based perspectives? That's what she intends to find out.

Fuboo's Live Commission Video ► https://youtu.be/wNM7hRXlv8Q?t=3065

Watch as we take commissioned artwork from The Fuboo and turn it into an animated 2D rig in the Unity game engine. The concept we are building is a horror exploration game that we have codenamed: "Harrow House". We are debating about the art style, whether to use 2D pixelated graphics to enhance the horror via obscurity, or keep the artwork clean looking. Our major inspiration is the original ClockTower game for the SNES/Super Famicom.

So sit back and watch as we bring the artwork to life, or just stick around for some great video game music remixes from OCReMix (remixes credited in the video).

Today in the others we check out Banshee Engine, an under development C++ 14 game engine licensed under the LGPL license and scripted using C#.

It's VERY much under development, so expect crashes, but also you may it shocking just how developed the engine is at this point, with a beautiful renderer, DX11, OpenGL and Vulkan back ends and more.

The third video in the Smile Game Builder tutorial goes through each of the preset events, one by one.

This isn't intended as a comprehensive how-to; it's simply to showcase what's available. In the next few tutorials, I'll go into much greater detail - finally! - and start customizing the events.

Note: This video is longer than I intended it to be! My aim is to keep videos around 20 minutes long, but sometimes that will go over. And that's when the fun will really begin!

This is the first live stream in a series in which I will program an entire game in C from scratch. You will see every piece of code being written in the game.

You can catch the live streams here:
https://www.twitch.tv/danzaidan
You can download the game's source here:
https://danzaidan.itch.io/break-arcade-games-out

In this live stream, we start off with a blank .c file and build a platform layer with a window, input processing, timing and pixel-independent software rendering.

The game will start off being a breakout clone but we will, in time, add some cool and crazy gameplay ideas, all being supported by a robust custom-made engine.

I decided to start learning how to make games, and I am a complete programming noob. So I decided to make my first game and projects on Game Maker just to get my feet wet.

I have a tiny amount of experience with C++, because my major was Computer Engineer when I was attending a university. However, I ended up dropping out to pursue other things, and now I'd like to start to pick things back up again on the side.

I currently plan to use Game Maker as a stepping stone, then I will move on to moderately harder things such as LUA or GODOT's language "loosely based on Python".

My first project uses the Drag and Drop feature for Game Maker, but since it is pretty limited and I want to learn code I moved onto using the engine's language GML. Plus, there is a lot more help and tutorials for GML.
