Starring John Hurt, Richard Burton, Suzanna Hamilton, and Cyril Cusack, the film follows the life of Winston Smith, a low-ranking civil servant in a war-torn London ruled by Oceania, a totalitarian superstate. Smith (Hurt) struggles to maintain his sanity and his grip on reality as the regime's overwhelming power and influence persecutes individualism and individual thinking on both a political and personal level.

George Orwell is rolling in his grave as the world becomes more dystopian. Nineteen Eighty-Four was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual for tyranny.
Orwell warned us 72 years ago of 4 possible nightmares that indeed have become today's reality:
1. Big Brother is always watching you: Thanks to the popularity of smartphones and smart devices, the authorities keep constant tabs on EVERYONE all the time. In Orwell's 1984, there's a telescreen in every home that's constantly watching and listening. You can't switch it off even if you want to. Today, Orwell's prophesized telescreens are designed to be handheld to go with you anywhere you go, and they're so desirable and convenient that you have no desire to switch them off. We call these telescreens smartphones. You can't switch them off even if you want to because they're designed in a way that you can't remove the battery. The "turn off" option offered by these devices is just a placebo. They're always on. They're always watching you. They're forever listening. Thanks to Google and Apple, Big Brother is forever watching you. Big tech companies like Google and Apple are government agencies because the same people who control/own these companies also control/own governments. And these people, of course, are no other than the banking class like the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, and the Morgans.
2. Perpetual war: The American Empire is just 244 years old, but it has been at war for 223 years. It has been at war more than 93% of the time! And American military spending is the size of the next 10 largest military budgets around the world combined! 9/11's War of Terror ("War on Terror" in doublespeak is designed to be a forever war just like COVID19's medical tyranny, which will last forever.
3. Bread and Circuses: Today's social trends are endless. From Hollywood's violent and gory movies to reality TV shows to the infinite obsession with sports and cooking shows, the list never ends. Add to the mix the cheap addictive junk food, and you get a breed of "proles" that are so pathetically gullible that they aren't even worthy of surveillance.
4. Newspeak: In his novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four, George Orwell laid out in detail how language can be misused to deceive and control the masses. In our world today, political correctness and euphemism are pervasive. Orwellian doublespeak and thought-control are ubiquitous among the politicians and the powerful propaganda machinery of the American Empire. Eugenics and population control are now called "reproductive health" and "family planning." The department of war is now called the department of defense. Torture is now called "enhanced interrogation techniques." The war effort is now called the peace effort. Invading foreign nations and bombing their populations is now called "liberation and spreading democracy." Dead innocent civilians are now called collateral. And the invaders who drop bombs on sovereign nations are now called freedom fighters or heroes while those who resist them are now called terrorists. Now governments start wars and call it self-defense. Political bribery is now called lobbying, and it's perfectly legal. Kidnap is now called "arrest" and it's legal as long as a cop does it. Theft is now called seizure as long as cops do it and it's perfectly normal. And now thanks to the planned crisis that's COVID19, house arrest is now called "lockdown."

George Orwell is rolling in his grave as the world becomes more dystopian. Nineteen Eighty-Four was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual for tyranny.
He warned us 71 years ago of 4 possible nightmares that indeed have become today's reality:
1. Big Brother is always watching you: Thanks to the popularity of smartphones and smart devices, the authorities keep constant tabs on EVERYONE all the time. In Orwell's 1984, there's a telescreen in every home that's constantly watching and listening. You can't switch it off even if you want to. Today, Orwell's prophecized telescreens are designed to be handheld to go with you anywhere you go, and they're so desirable and convenient that you have no desire to switch them off. We call these telescreens smartphones. You can't switch them off even if you want to because they're designed in a way that you can't remove the battery. The "turn off" option offered by these devices is just a placebo. They're always on. They're always watching you. They're forever listening. Thanks to Google and Apple, Big Brother is forever watching you. Big tech companies like Google and Apple are government agencies because the same people who control/own these companies also control/own governments. And these people, of course, are no other than the banking class like the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, and the Morgans.
2. Perpetual war: The American Empire is just 243 years old, but it has been at war for 222 years. It has been at war more than 93% of the time! And American military spending is the size of the next 10 largest military budgets around the world combined!
3. Bread and Circuses: Today's social trends are endless. From Hollywood's violent and gory movies to reality TV shows to the infinite obsession with sports and cooking shows, the list never ends. Add to the mix the cheap addictive junk food, and you get a breed of "proles" that are so pathetically gullible that they aren't even worthy of surveillance.
4. Newspeak: In his novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four, George Orwell laid out in detail how language can be misused to deceive and control the masses. In our world today, political correctness and euphemism are pervasive. Orwellian doublespeak and thought-control are ubiquitous among the politicians and the powerful propaganda machinery of the American Empire. Eugenics and population control are now called "reproductive health" and "family planning." The department of war is now called the department of defense. Torture is now called "enhanced interrogation techniques." The war effort is now called the peace effort. Invading foreign nations and bombing their populations is now called "liberation and spreading democracy." Dead innocent civilians are now called collateral. And the invaders who drop bombs on sovereign nations are now called freedom fighters or heroes while those who resist them are now called terrorists. Now governments start wars and call it self-defense. Political bribery is now called lobbying, and it's perfectly legal. Kidnap is now called "arrest" as long as a cop does it. And now thanks to the new planned crisis that's COVID19, house arrest is now called "lockdown."

In his novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, George Orwell described a Thought Police that constantly surveils everything citizens say or write or share with their friends. If you say anything that goes against the party's official narrative or commandments, cops with guns show up at your doorstep. Orwell's nightmare is happening today to many around the world including a colony of the British dictatorship called Australia. This shouldn't surprise you at all if you know that Elizabeth II is the owner of Australia and she can fire the entire Australian Government if she feels like it.

So you can clearly tell whom the puppet politicians and the war slaves (soldiers) and the licensed killers (cops) of Australia serve. They serve their owners, the tyrannical family of the UK. They don't serve the Australian people.

If George Orwell was alive today and was writing an updated version of 1984, much of the language used in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic would feature prominently. A whole lexicon has been created for Covid-19, and it’s strikingly Orwellian. If we put aside all health concerns for a second, and just focus on the language of the pandemic, it’s truly bizarre. Terms such as social bubbles, self-isolation, social distancing, contact tracing, shielding, lockdown and quarantine, read like they belong in the pages of some obscure dystopian novel. Furthermore, some Covid-19 words sound like they have come directly from Orwell’s newspeak. Doomscrolling, for instance, is a word invented due to the pandemic and refers to people addictively scrolling through their phones desperate for the latest apocalyptic news hit. Another Covid-19 word is Blursday, where days and time blur into one Covid-19 blackhole.
If we focus more on the history of some of these Covid-19 words, a disturbing picture is revealed in certain instances. Lockdown for example, one of the most popular Covid-19 words, traditionally referred to the prison system, where wardens confine “prisoners to their cells for all or most of the day as a temporary security measure.” In contrast however, the history of the term self-quarantined is actually quite interesting. It was first used in 1878 in reference to an incident that took place in 1666, when the population of Eyam, a village in England, isolated itself to stop the bubonic plague from spreading to villages close by, such as Sheffield, with Eyam losing at least a third of its population due its decision to self-quarantine.
More broadly however, the social practices and rules that are now in place in many countries are concerning on many levels. The push for people to wear masks is a worrying trend for instance. Even though people in many Asian countries are more accustomed to wearing masks than in Western countries, and masks may have some merit in relation to transmission control, the social implications of everyone wearing a mask are disconcerting, as masks are dehumanizing. Masks cut off a large percentage of a human being’s facial profile: the movement of our mouths, checks, jaw, teeth, tongue and nose, are all hidden. The fact that masks conceal your face is obviously why criminals wear them to conceal their identity. For young children living through this pandemic, they are being conditioned into the new abnormal of seeing adults wearing masks and gloves for doing such basic human tasks as going food shopping.
It is clear that Covid-19 is not ushering in the new normal; but the new abnormal! In fact, the whole use of the term ‘new normal’ is bizarre in itself. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, the term new normal could only really be found in academic journals or in talks by independent researchers such as Alan Watt; yet now, it is front page news on a daily basis, with government ministers incessantly using the term.
The good news however is that various Orwellian apps that governments have been attempting to roll out are failing in many countries around the world.

George Orwell: A Life in Pictures is a 2003 BBC Television docudrama telling the life story of the British Eric Arthur Blair (1903–1950), better known by his pen name George Orwell. It is argued that unlike most of his contemporary writers, Orwell critically examined some aspects of the complicated relation between British and German culture, such as Christianity, imperialism and nationalism. Orwell's relevant writings have been largely neglected in literature, perhaps under the shadow of his anti-communist stance and disregard for zionism.

Orwell used his fiction as well as his journalism to defend his political convictions. He first achieved widespread acclaim with his fictional novella Animal Farm and cemented his place in history with the publication of Nineteen Eighty-Four shortly before his death. While fiction accounts for a small fraction of his total output, these two novels are his best-selling works, having sold almost fifty million copies in sixty-two languages by 2007—more than any other pair of books by a twentieth-century author.

Since his death many collections of essays have appeared, with the first attempt at a comprehensive collection being the four-volume Collected Essays, Letters and Journalism of George Orwell edited (read: censoring) by Ian Angus and Sonia Brownell in 1968–1970. Peter Davison of De Montfort University spent 17 years researching and correcting (read: censoring) the entirety of Orwell's works with Angus and Sheila Davison, and devoted the last eleven volumes of the twenty-volume series The Complete Works of George Orwell to essays, letters, and journal entries. The entire series was initially printed by Secker and Warburg in 1986, finished by Random House in 1998, and revised (read: censored) between 2000 and 2002.

And also tolerates George Orwell's "doublethink", where by liars and criminals the governments can hide the public opinion and keep secrets for the sake of "national security"... apparently.
Or making outrages claims about openness and honesty and padding themselves on the back for the wonderful service they're doing to humanity by exporting democracy to the Middle East. And we haven't seen anything yet. The new world order that we see unfolding used to be merely handed out by the various strategically positioned front men and women. Nowadays it is discussed semi-openly by today's front people and can no longer be ignored by the human beings who happen to be alive today.
Those new front people utilize new technology as it been made available to the general public. They have us all numbered and they want us to believe that it's for our own good. That way we can all be monitored more easily and believe that it's for our own safety.
Yes, you heard right... in this lovely little public service announcement from the Manchester Police Department on their Facebook page online urged citizens to call the POLICE on their friends, neighbors, family & loved ones who they hear repeating or talking about 'Conspiracy Theories'! Yes, our lovely US President, the Donald himself, has been touting his all too favorite 'Conspiracy Theory' of the month which is of course that CHINA has manufactured this Coronavirus as a bio-weapon to attack the United States... anyone with half a brain can do just a modicum of research into this topic, confer with leading virologists in the field & you'd come to the very same conclusions that others/we have... which is... the origin of this Covid-Hoax bullshit definitely could *NOT* have come from China! Their very first cases were already on the 4th or 5th mutation of the Coronavirus so it started somewhere else... their top virologists in East Asia have said it likely started in America but I have my suspicions it could have also started in England (Surrey, UK) at the Pirbright Institute (they also have the U.S. Patent on the Coronavirus, heavily funded by Bill Gates.) It could have just as easily originated from the Fort Detrick bioweapons lab in Maryland which was closed in 2019 because they got a CEASE & DESIST ORDER from the CDC for improper disposal of toxic waste (yes, they were literally pouring BIOWASTE from their Level 4 BIO-WEAPONS into the waterways around their facility!) ... but no, folks, the Government has it ALL under control and they definitely have your HEALTH as their #1 concern!! Essas palavras muito me fazem lembrar do livro 1984 de George Orwell. Todos nós já conhecemos esse livro, um futuro distópico, com um governo totalitário que controla tudo que as pessoas leem, comem e pensão. Governo que tinha um lema: "Guerra é Paz. Liberdade é Escravidão. Violência é Força.". Esse governo estava sempre em guerra com outros governos, provavelmente também autoritários, e essa guerra permitia com que o governo controlasse mais facilmente a sua população. A guerra era uma desculpa do governo para cobrar mais impostos, aumentar o gasto, racionar comida e unir a população contra um mal maior. Muito parecido com que Muitos "lideres de máfia" estão fazendo pelo mundo. Cada vez mais vemos a população pedindo por mais Estado, mais imposto, auxilio para os eventuais desempregados, quarentena forçada, sistema de saúde publico e até controle dos preços. Essas medidas são justificáveis, afinal, estamos em "guerra".
