"When your body is rightly posed [asana], and your mind [consciousness] absorbed deep in meditation [Dhyana], you may feel that thought and mind both disappear, yet this is but the surface experience of Dhyana. By constant practice and mindfulness thereon, one feels radiant self-awareness shining like a brilliant lamp. It is pure and bright as a flower, it is like the feeling of staring into the vast and empty sky. The awareness of Voidness is limpid and transparent, yet vivid. This non-thought, this radiant and transparent experience, is but the feeling of Dhyana. With this good foundation one should further pray to the three precious ones [Buddha, Dharma, Sangha], and penetrate to Reality by deep thinking and contemplation [on the nature of the Absolute]. He thus can tie the non-ego wisdom [prajna] with the beneficial life-rope of deep Dhyana. With the power of kindness and compassion, and with the altruistic vow of the bodhi-heart [Bodhichitta], he can see direct and clear the truth of the enlightened path, of which nothing can be seen, yet all is clearly visioned. He sees how wrong were the fears and hopes of his own mind."
― Milarepa - The Shephard's Search for Mind

“The soul of every living being emanates from an atom. This atom is the Ain Soph. Each person has his own Ain Soph. This is a star that shines in infinite space beyond the nine Heavens. Souls must return to their Star, to their own Ain Soph. This return towards their Star, the Ain Soph, is a divine event. The day when the soul is Self-realized will be when it has the luxury of returning to its star.”
― Samael Aun Weor - Tarot and Kabbalah

"Internal meditation is a scientific system to receive information. When the wise submerges into meditation, he searches for information. Meditation is the daily bread of the wise. Meditation has different steps. Asana (posture of the body), Pratyahara (serene mind), Dharana (internal concentration), Dhyana (internal meditation), Samadhi (ecstasy). Firstly, we must place our body in a very comfortable position. We have to place our mind in serenity before starting our concentration; that is to say, we have to remove every type of thought from our mind. After having accomplished the former steps, we then rise up to the steps of Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi."
― Samael Aun Weor - Kundalini Yoga

“It is completely impossible to experience the Being — the Innermost, the Reality — without becoming true technical and scientific masters of that mysterious science called meditation. It is completely impossible to experience the Being — the Innermost, the Reality — without having reached a true mastery of the quietude and silence of the mind. Nevertheless, we must not deceive ourselves and be ready to buy a “pig in a poke,” since the “I” also lusts for and covets those silences, and it even fabricates them artificially.”
— Samael Aun Weor - Spiritual Power of Sound

In the first few lectures of this course about the Fuel for Spiritual Experience, we have been describing factors that provide a foundation for which spiritual experience becomes a reality, something that can actually happen. This is important. This is the whole reason why we study Gnosis: to actually have experience, not to just have theories or beliefs, but to see, taste, touch, and feel the reality that is beyond the physical senses, the realities of the spirit. Those realities exist.

"The Being — the Innermost, the Reality — is totally different from that which the pseudo-occultists and pseudo-esotericists call Superior “I” or Divine “I.” The experience of Reality is completely different, distinct from everything the mind has ever experienced. The experience of Reality cannot be communicated to anybody because it does not look like anything that the mind has experienced before. When one has experienced Reality, one then comprehends very deeply the disastrous state in which one is abiding, and then one only aspires to know oneself without wanting to become more than one is. At the present time, the wretched intellectual animal falsely called “human being” only has inside one useful element. This element is the Buddhata, the Essence of the mind, with which we can experience the Being, the Innermost, the Reality. This precious element is trapped in the bottle of the animal intellect. During profound inner meditation, when the mind is totally quiet and in an absolute silence — within and without, not only in the superficial level, but also in all the different corridors, subconscious extracts, zones and lands — then the Essence, the precious element, escapes from within the bottle and fuses with the Being, the Innermost, in order to experience Reality."

“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your lack of faith [ἀπιστία apistia]: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith [πίστις pistis] as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."
― Matthew 17

In one of the ancient scriptures of Buddhism, it states:

"We say that unsurpassed bodhi [wisdom, Chokmah] has faith as its cause. The causes of awakening are innumerable, but if stated as faith, this covers everything. O Śāriputra, the ultimate truth is really approachable only by faith."
― Uttara-tantra-shastra / Ratnagotravibhāga by Buddha Maitreya

"Faith is direct experience of the real, the magnificent vivifi- cation of the Inner Human Being, authentic divine cognition. The Inner Human being, by knowing his own internal world through direct mystical experience, will obviously also know the internal worlds of all the people who populate the face of the Earth."
― Samael Aun Weor - The Great Rebellion

“Those who have true faith do not need to believe. This is because genuine faith is living knowledge, exact cognition, and direct experience.”
― Samael Aun Weor - The Great Rebellion

Faith is a consequence of our actions. Swami Sivananda said very, very clearly:

“No faith, no knowledge.”

"Breath is external manifestation of Prana, the vital force. Breath like electricity, is gross Prana. Breath is Sthula, gross. Prana is Sukshma, subtle. By exercising control over this breathing you can control the subtle Prana inside. Control of Prana means control of mind. Mind cannot operate without the help of Prana. The vibrations of Prana only produce thoughts in the mind. It is Prana that moves the mind. It is Prana that sets the mind in motion. It is the Sukshma Prana or Psychic Prana that is intimately connected with the mind. This breath represents the important fly-wheel of an engine. Just as the other wheels stop when the driver stops the fly-wheel, so also other organs cease working, when the Yogi stops the breath. If you can control the fly-wheel, you can easily control the other wheels. Likewise, if you can control the external breath, you can easily control the inner vital force, Prana. The process by which the Prana is controlled by regulation of external breath, is termed Pranayama. Just as a goldsmith removes the impurities of gold by heating it in the hot furnace, by strongly blowing the blow-pipe, so also the Yogic student removes the impurities of the body and the Indriyas by blowing his lungs, i.e., by practising Pranayama. The chief aim of Pranayama is to unite the Prana with the Apana and take the united Pranapana slowly towards the head. The effect or fruit of Pranayama is Udghata or awakening of the sleeping Kundalini."
― Swami Sivananda - The Science of Pranayama

Prana is energy. Prana is Christ. That energy is the energy that palpitates in the heart of every existing thing. Everything: every rock, plant, fish, horse, planet, sun, universe, sun, is sustained by the fire of Christic Prana. That is why Christ is “the life, the light, and the way.” It is the energy of existence. It is the Ain Soph Aur. That prana, that energy vibrates in many different modalities, many different levels of existence, and it is what sustains everything. It is the great breath. Everything that is in you is prana, in different modifications. We live, we breathe, we exist, we are sustained by that force.

“Prana is the sum total of all energy that is manifest in the universe. It is the sum total of all the forces in nature. It is the sum total of all latent forces and powers which are hidden in men [and women] and which lie everywhere around us. Heat, light, electricity, magnetism are the manifestations of prana. Whatever moves or works or has life is but an expression of manifestation of prana. The prana is related to mind [Hod / Netzach] and through mind to will [Tiphereth], and through will to the individual soul [Tiphereth / Geburah], and through this to the Supreme Being [Chesed / Atman]. If you know how to control the little waves of prana working through your mind, then the secret of subjugating universal prana will be known to you.”

"That which is above is like that which is below. At the beginning of the aurora of creation, the sexual fire of the Third Logos fecundates the womb of the great mother, the fundamental substance. The second part is performed by the Second Logos, the Cosmic Christ, by incarnating himself within the worlds that are arising, so that all beings can have life, and have it in abundance. This event is repeated within the Microcosmos human. The first one who intervenes is the Third Logos, when fertilizing the chaotic matter contained in the semen and in the dorsal spine, fertilizing the Divine Mother, the Akashic principle, so that the inner universe, the solar bodies, are born. Thereafter, the Second Logos is born within those superior existential bodies of the Being, in order to work in the Great Work of the Father."
— Samael Aun Weor - Light from Darkness

"
The Divine Ray and the Chaos, Pistis Sophia and the Great Abyss, shine with pleasure when united. Thus, the Chaos delectably sparkles when obtaining its meaning from this union with the Spirit. When Sophia, as Divine Spirit, is associated with the Chaos, then the Protogonos, the primogenial light, emerges. The Logoic Ray, impregnated by Sophia, fecundates the waters of life, in order for the Universe to emerge."
— The Pistis Sophia Unveiled

Pistis Sophia is a series of books, also known as The Books of the Savior, written many centuries ago. It is the bible of the Christian Gnostics. A major portion outlines the story and the path of one who is attempting to incarnate Wisdom (Christ) within themselves. This book was written sometime shortly after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who in this book is called Aberamentho.

It is said that eleven years after he resurrected that he gave these teachings. The book itself is very elevated, speaking about, and pointed towards, someone who is already on the path and who has developed themselves to a certain degree. By this we mean, the teachings of the Pistis Sophia are the teachings to live the drama of Christ in our hearts and minds. It deals with death, resurrection, and ascension - the path of Christ. We must work to understand these teachings on our own level.

The Pistis Sophia is very esoteric, very alchemical and Kabbalistic, very veiled in symbolism, and it was a book was lost for quite some time, at least to our visible public eyes. It rested in obscurity for quite a long time, even though the Western world found it in the late 1700s, the scholars and the people who read it could not make any sense of it, so it just sat in a collection of a museum.

H. P. Blavatsky commented quite extensively on The Pistis Sophia, but when one studies this commentary, it is more related with Cosmogenesis (creation of the universe) than Anthropogenesis (the full development and creation of the human being).

“A Yogi generally performs his wonders by means of Iccha-Shakti and Kriyashakti.”
― H.P. Blavatsky - The Secret Doctrine

Iccha-shakti is the will of our consciousness and the sexual force of life. It is the will in all dynamic forces of the universe; it is willpower. In order to develop willpower, we need to act spiritually; we need Kriya-Shakti, that is, to act with the heart, with intuition. These are two of the three parts of the creative cosmic power called Shakti. The other is Jnanashakti, the power to know.

“Moses, the man who liberated the electric might of Iccha-Shakti, willpower, possesses the gift of prodigies. This is known by the Divine Ones and humans. So it is written. All that the sacred scriptures state about this Hebrew leader is certainly extraordinary, portentous.”
― Samael Aun Weor

Regarding Iccha-Shakti, the willpower of our consciousness and the sexual force of life, the Lord prayer states:

“Thy kingdom come thy will (Iccha-Shakti) be done on earth as it is in heaven”
― Matthew 6: 10

The great Rabbi of Galilee, Jesus, knew that the Yoni, the feminine cup, was kabbalistically associated with the letter Kaf, this is why he said:

“O my Father, if this cup (כ Kaf) may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will (Iccha-Shakti) be done.”
― Matthew 26: 42

So, Iccha-Shakti is a Sanskrit word that means willpower, that develops through Kriya, action, whereas Jnana, is another Sanskrit word that means “knowledge.”

The electric might of Iccha-Shakti–Willpower, or Kundalini, is liberated by means of Tantra Yoga, which in the western world is known as the science of Alchemy. The Kabbalists, the Gnostics, in the time of Jesus, in order to introduce Sexual Alchemy into the western world, replaced or adapted the Sanskrit term Iccha-Shakti with the Greek word Thelema, this is why in their ceremonies within the Catacombs of Rome they said:

“Whosoever calls ye Thelemites shall not commit an injustice as long as they comprehend the word with perfection, because it contains exactly three degrees:

1) The man who dwells within silence (which relates with Binah),

2) The man who loves (related with Gedulah, also called Chesed),

3) The vulgar man of the Earth.”

“Source of the Iccha Shakti, Kriya Shakti and the Gnana Shakti. When this energy unites with the Shiva tattva, Skanda is born.”

Queer Theory is the doctrine of a cult. Strange as this gender ideology may seem, perverse as it is, it can only be understood in terms of the esoteric cult religious structures called Gnosticism and Hermeticism. That is, Queer Theory is Queer Gnosticism, and the Queer Gnostic cult is consuming our society. Building upon his recent discussion of Gnosticism in the Modern West (https://newdiscourses.com/2023/02/gnosticism-in-the-modern-west/) host James Lindsay exposes Queer Theory for what it actually is in this groundbreaking episode of the New Discourses Podcast. This discussion will not only lay Queer Theory bare for the social-spiritual cult belief system that it is, but it will also make sense of the destructive phenomena like sexual graphic novels in our school libraries, Drag Queen Story Hour, and the relentless push for queer and trans everything into all aspects of our culture. Join him to understand our danger.

"Though Christ a thousand times in Bethlehem be born. And not within thyself, thy soul will be forlorn. The Cross on Golgotha thou lookest to in vain unless within thyself it be set up again."
― Angelus Silesius - Messenger of the Heart <3

Easter is one of the primary days of the Christian calendar, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus after his crucifixion. In the West, Easter is celebrated on the Sunday following the full moon next after the vernal equinox (between March 22 and April 25).

Easter, also called Pascha or Resurrection Sunday, is a Christian festival and cultural holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD.

This Holy Day is actually far older than Christianity. The name “Easter” is derived from the Old German name “Ostara,” and, in Anglo-Saxon, Eastre, or Eostre, the goddess of spring, fertility, and the rising sun. This name is a variation on the name of Ishtar, the Babylonian and Assyrian goddess of love and fertility.

The term Christ is derived from the Greek krestos, which esoterically means fire. Christ is an energy. This energy can incarnate within the human being. Those who earn this sacred gift can then be called "Christ." The Christ is represented in many religions.

Christ is a universal principle within all religions, not only incarnated within Jesus of Nazareth, but Quetzalcoatl, Krishna, Buddha, Moses, and all masters properly prepared through initiation.

Just as the Spring sun resurrects nature. Likewise Christ, the cosmic solar energy of divine intelligence, resurrects spiritual life within the soul through the mysteries of Easter.

"Christ is Ormus, Ahura-Mazda among the Persians, who is the antithesis of Ahriman (Satan).

Christ is Vishnu in the sacred land of the Vedas. He is the Second Logos, sublime emanation of Brahma, the First Logos.

The Avatar Krishna is the Hindustani Jesus. The gospel of this Master is similar to the gospel of the divine Rabbi of Galilee.

Fu-Ji is the Cosmic Christ among the ancient Chinese, the one who wrote the famous I-Ching, the book of laws, and who designated Dragon Ministers for the good of humanity

Osiris was in fact the Christ in the sunny country of Khem, in the land of the Pharaohs, and whosoever incarnated Him was an Osirified One.

Quetzalcoatl is the Mexican Christ, who is now dwelling in distant Tule."

― Samael Aun Weor - The Three Mountains

The Christ is widely represented by the Sun, the giver of light and life. In Kabbalah, we speak of the Christ as the Solar Logos: the Sun that illuminates the Tree of Life.

In the West, Jesus of Nazareth, who was actually named Jeshua ben Pandira, incarnated the Christ. He became the Son of the Sun, the Light of the World. He taught the path to do as he had done.

Human integrity and virtue.

The realization of one’s ultimate purpose in life.

τέλος (telos):

This lecture discusses:

What is goal of the universe? What is our spiritual purpose? What are the forms of knowledge and how to do we know what is true?

"Comparative mythologist, author and teacher John Lash returns to Red Ice for his last interview. We’ll begin on the revival of Gnosticism and the teachings of telesti. John recaps his research on the Archons and the Gaia-Sophia navigation. He explains how humanity is part of a divine experiment, one that we are close to understanding. He’ll speak more about the history between Gaia-Sophia and the Archons. John says Sophia has begun her course of correction and explains how she is communicating with her home base. Gaia is about to have a massive awakening, which will reconfigure Earth.
Next we begin discussing the dark energies present with 2012 and the current focalization process. Then, John tells us why this is his last interview. Also, he’ll talk about galactic re-alignment explained by Sophia teachings. He describes the process and presents current scientific data that reveals it is happening. He says Earth may be on its way to becoming a self navigating planet.
Lastly, we discuss the biggest taboo on the planet, violence. We’ll talk about the riddle of violence and planetary tantra.”

“We are being inexorably drawn in by a Final cause – the Omega Point – divinity. Divinity = perfect symmetry = the total, flawless alignment of every monad in the Singularity, which equates to the resetting of every monad and the end of a cosmic cycle. This is the moment of Divine Suicide – when all the Gods die. This is Ragnarok. This is Götterdammerung. All the gods must perish. Each cyclical universe must die. Scientists talk of the Heat Death brought about by the Second Law of Thermodynamics. There’s simply no way out.”
― Mike Hockney - Free Will and Will to Power

According to Gnostic mythology, Pleroma (Greek for “Fullness”) is the name the Gnostics gave to Heaven - the state of total fullness or abundance, relating particularly to the nature of God. An Æon is what the Gnostics called a divine being who inhabited the Pleroma.

Each Æon has a male and female counterpart. The Gnostics essentially believed that the universe was created by the one true god who is indefinable and unknowable.

They say that this god is so great that no one can comprehend his existence, hence why Odin said "the rift whispered things to me I couldn't possibly comprehend but I knew they were true."

In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is a series of events, including a great battle, foretelling the death of numerous great figures (including the gods Odin, Thor, Týr, Freyr, Heimdall, and Loki), natural disasters, and the submersion of the world in water.

After these events, the world will rise again, cleansed and fertile, the surviving and returning gods will meet and the world will be repopulated by two human survivors. Ragnarök is an important event in Norse mythology and has been the subject of scholarly discourse and theory in the history of Germanic studies.

The event is attested primarily in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson.

In the Prose Edda and in a single poem in the Poetic Edda, the event is referred to as Ragnarøkkr (Old Norse for 'Twilight of the Gods'), a usage popularised by 19th-century composer Richard Wagner with the title of the last of his Der Ring des Nibelungen operas, Götterdämmerung (1876), which is "Twilight of the Gods" in German.

The Old Norse compound word ragnarok has a long history of interpretation. Its first element, ragna, is unproblematic, being the genitive plural of regin (n. pl.) "the ruling powers, gods." The second element is more problematic, as it occurs in two variants, -rök and -røkkr.

Writing in the early 20th century, philologist Geir Zoëga treats the two forms as two separate compounds, glossing ragnarök as "the doom or destruction of the gods" and ragnarøkkr as "the twilight of the gods."

The plural noun rök has several meanings, including "development, origin, cause, relation, fate." The word ragnarök as a whole is then usually interpreted as the "final destiny of the gods."

The singular form ragnarøk(k)r is found in a stanza of the Poetic Edda poem Lokasenna, and in the Prose Edda. The noun røk(k)r means "twilight" (from the verb røkkva "to grow dark"), suggesting a translation "twilight of the gods."

This reading was widely considered a result of folk etymology, or a learned reinterpretation of the original term due to the merger of /ɔ/ (spelled ǫ) and /ø/ (spelled ø) in Old Icelandic after c. 1200 (nevertheless giving rise to the calque Götterdämmerung "Twilight of the Gods" in the German reception of Norse mythology.

Other terms used to refer to the events surrounding Ragnarök in the Poetic Edda include aldar rök (aldar means age, "end of an age") from a stanza of Vafþrúðnismál, tíva rök from two stanzas of Vafþrúðnismál, þá er regin deyja ("when the gods die") from Vafþrúðnismál, unz um rjúfask regin ("when the gods will be destroyed") from Vafþrúðnismál, Lokasenna, and Sigrdrífumál, aldar rof ("destruction of the age") from Helgakviða Hundingsbana II, regin þrjóta ("end of the gods") from Hyndluljóð, and, in the Prose Edda, þá er Muspellz-synir herja ("when the sons of Muspell move into battle") can be found in chapters 18 and 36 of Gylfaginning.

“To remain in the awakened awareness state in the midst of the Knower (Gnata) and the object to be known (gneya) is penance itself. For the Knower to not become the object to be known is itself invisible internal penance (adeetha tapa). There are two kinds of negligence (pramaad). Negligence related to worldly matters is referred to as laziness. When applied awareness as the Self does not remain in matters related to spirituality, then it is referred to as spiritual slumber (pramaad). When constant applied awareness as the Self remains, then One is apramatt (in One's inherent state as the Self). Through the direct darshan (devotional viewing) of a living enlightened One, One can become apramatt (with constant applied awareness as the Self); whereas through indirect darshan, spiritual apathy (pramaad) arises.”
― Dada Bhagwan

Mindfulness is paying attention to our experience. Mindfulness has a quality of openness, being open to the experience of the moment without avoidance or distortion.

Spaciousness is what is directly experienced when mental content (thoughts and emotions) cease. We experience the space of our awareness through meditation.

Emptiness, as an experience, is a radical annihilation of self-identity in which one perceives universal consciousness.

“The seer does not see, by choice, what the blind can see by default... from within.”

Christian Gnostics don’t think Christ was Jewish nor was he endorsing Judaism. We don’t believe what Hackedemia teaches about history pertaining to the jews and we don’t accept their corrupt financial control over civilization.

“Uncover the veil that shrouds Heavenly Spirits. Behold, every man and every woman is a star, like mysterious lamps hanging from the Firmament. God is the flame that stirs in everything, the vivifying geometry of everything. This is why the number is holy, is infinite, is eternal. There, where He resides, there is no difference; diversity is unity.”
― Tarot and Kabbalah by Samael Aun Weor

This lecture follows on from the lecture "The Parsufim, the five faces of God." Here we are going to study the five types of souls or consciousness that we have to be cognizant of.

In Hebrew, the original language of the bible, the words for soul are: איש Aish (plural Haishim האישים-the igneous souls), רוח Ruach, נפש Nephesh, נשמה Neshamah and נפש חיה Nephesh Chaiah, etc... Thus, in order to understand the bible we have to learn kabbalah.

"Within their interior, the atoms carry that which the Hebrews call “igneous particles,” “Haishim האישים” or “the igneous souls.” These igneous souls are formidable. Without these igneous souls, atoms cannot process themselves within the living constitution of matter.

Therefore, in reality, no one truly knows the power, for instance, of a few grains of sand (dust of the earth). We can be sure that nobody knows the power that is enclosed there, or what it is capable of doing.

The Haishim האישים or the igneous souls are enclosed within each atom. The great magicians of the east know how to work with these igneous particles of the atoms. In any case, the atoms are impelled by these igneous particles, which are obviously suspected by modern scientists."
― Samael Aun Weor

Remember that Master Jesus of Nazareth stated:

"In your patience possess ye your souls (the Haishim האישים or the igneous souls)."
― Luke 21: 19

We are going to apply this verse from Luke to the five types of souls, about which we are speaking. Observe that Master Jesus, when addressing the soul, said, “your souls” - he talked in plural, as well as Moses:

“And יהוה אלהים Iod-Havah Elohim (Chaiah חיה) formed Adam of (Haishim האישים” or “the igneous souls of) the dust of (האדמה Ha-Adamah) the ground (our physicality), and breathed into his nostrils the (נשמת חיים Neshamoth Chayim) breaths of lives; and Adam became a (Nephesh Chaiah נפש חיה) living soul.”
― Genesis 2: 7

And in his book Tarot and Kabbalah, Master Samael Aun Weor states that we have three souls, Nephesh, Ruach and Neshamah. Yet, in this lecture we are going to address five. The other two kabbalistic souls or consciousness are related to the Logos. Let us name these five Haishim האישים or igneous souls in order from highest to lowest:

Yehidah יחידה, the Universal Soul, Ain Soph, Kether, Chokmah and Binah in Atziluth

Chaiah חיה, the Soul World, the soul of Jah-Havah Elohim Binah in Briah

Neshamah נשמה, the Spiritual Soul, Buddhi, Geburah, in Briah and Yetzirah

Ruach Elohim רוח אלהים, the Soul of Elohim, Chesed, our Innermost, Atman, in Briah

Nephesh נפש, the Animal Soul, Assiah, Yesod and Malkuth

These five types of Haishim האישים or igneous souls, Yehidah, Chaiah, Neshamah, Ruach and Nephesh are the five types of consciousness, or better said, cognizance (from Latin cognoscere, the range of what our consciousness can know or understand). These souls relate to the seven cosmoses, and the Sephiroth of the Tree of Life.

Master Samael Aun Weor stated in Esoteric Treatise of Hermetic Astrology:

"Light and consciousness are two phenomena of the same thing. To a lesser degree of consciousness, there corresponds a lesser degree of light; to a greater degree of consciousness, a greater degree of light."

So, consciousness and soul are synonymous.

We have to develop, to become cognizant of these five types of Haishim האישים or igneous souls; these are androgynous psychic attributes that we have to possess as איש Aish and אישה Aisha, within each one of us.

“And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called (אישה Aisha) Feminine Soul, because she was taken out of (איש Aish) Soul.”
― Genesis 2: 23

In the lecture on the Parsufim, we explained in synthesis the different symbols related with the Tree of Life, associating them with the manifestations of God. Now, we are going to go deeper into this topic, in order for us to comprehend what the consciousness is, in relation with the universe and with creation.

Partzufim / Partsufim (Hebrew: פרצופים, singular partzuf, Hebrew: פרצוף), meaning "Divine Personas", are particular reconfigured arrangements of the ten sefirot, divine attributes/emanations of Kabbalah.

Each partzuf is thus a configuration of disparate entities into a harmonious unit. The names of the partzufim are derived from the Zohar, the foundational text of Kabbalah. There, they are synonymous terms for the sefirot.

Their full doctrinal significance emerged in 16th century Lurianic Kabbalah with reference to the cosmic processes of Tohu and Tikun, "Chaos and Rectification."

In Lurianic Kabbalah, the four realms of our created existence are arranged in a stable form, through the reconfiguration of the original sephirot into partzufim. The first realm to exhibit this new arrangement is the mature form of Atzilut (the World of "Emanation"), therefore also called the "World of Tikun" (Rectification). This follows on from the Shevirah ("Shattering") of the sefirot vessels in the "World of Tohu" (Chaos), the initial, unstable form of Atzilut.

In Tikun, the Sefirot evolve into the harmonised partzufim new arrangements, where they can unite. The realm of Tohu is characterised by abundant light (Ohr) and weak vessels, as the 10 sefirot act independently as absolute forces, causing it to collapse. Tikkun is characterised by lower lights in strong vessels, as through the partzufim the sefirot inter-relate to absorb the illumination from Tohu.

The 6 primary and 12 secondary partzufim are the basic harmonised Divine manifestations in the Four Worlds of created existence. More specifically however, within their interaction are numerous more particular aspects of Divinity, each denoting a differentiated expression. In the Idrot narratives of the Zohar, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai discusses profound manifestations of the partzufim. The Idra Zuta, traditionally ascribed to his day of passing from this world, his Yom Hillula "wedding day", is considered the deepest teachings of the Zohar.

Parsufim (Partzufim) is a plural Hebrew word that means “faces.” Partzuf is the singular word for face, image, or countenance.

Parsufim is plural and refers to the different symbols of the Tree of Life - the way in which we can understand the different triangles and the different aspects of the ten Sephiroth that are the basis of the science of Kabbalah. In Kabbalah, we study five Parsufim, five faces, or five symbols, images, countenances. We are going to talk about these five Parsufim and to see how they are related not only with Judaism and Christianity, but also with other religions.

“I call upon thee, o living god, radiant with illuminating fire. O unseen parent of the sun! pour forth thy light giving power and energise thy divine spark. Enter into this flame and let it be agitated by the breaths of thy holy spirit. Manifest thy power and open for me the temple of almighty god which is within this fire! manifest thy light for my regeneration, and let the breadth, height, fullness and crown of the solar radiance appear, and may the god within shine forth…”
— Translated from a rescension of a Greek Papyrus by Dr. Carl Wessely, Griechische Zauberpapyrus, 1888

In Greek, Φανης Phanes means “to bring light, to shine.”

“I invoke Protogonus [first god], of a double nature, great, wandering through the ether, Egg-born, rejoicing in thy golden wings, Having the countenance of a bull, the procreator of the blessed gods and mortal men, The renowned Light, the far-celebrated Ericepæus,Ineffable, occult, impetuous, all-glittering strength; Who scatterest the twilight clouds of darkness from the eyes, And roamest throughout the world upon the flight of thy wings, Who bringest forth the pure and brilliant light, wherefore I invoke thee as Phanes, As Priapus the king, and as dazzling fountain of splendour. Come, then, blessed being, full of wisdom and generation, come in joy To thy sacred, ever-varying mystery. Be present with the Priests of thy rituals.”
— Orphic fragment

Phanes was described as male/female. This is the same as the primodial Hindu divinities, and the Hebrew:

“In the beginning אלהים Elohim [literally “god-goddess”] created the heaven and the earth.” —Genesis 1:1

Phanes emerged out of a cosmic egg (the abstract absolute space) and had four heads: an eagle, a lion, a bull, and a man. The Christians adopted all of that symbolism as the four evangelist in the four gospels. It is also in the old testament in relation with the four holy creatures (Chaioth ha Kadosh) described in the book of Ezekiel.

"Oh Devi-Kundalini! You are the fire of the seven Laya centers of the universe. The seven Laya centers of the universe are the seven degrees of power of the fire. Seven churches exist in the Chaos where the seven planetary Logoi officiate. These seven churches also exist within the spinal medulla of the human being."

Chakras are something more and more people are becoming familiar with. The term Chakra often translates to 'Vortex' or 'Spinning Discs".

They are fundamental aspects of the subtle energy body - meaning that they are not something you can find and measure with a scientific instrument if you were to open up the physical body. But rather their presence is known through a deeper understanding of the role they play and how they show themselves through our emotions, intuition, virtues, and abilities as multi-dimensional beings.

There are many benefits to understanding the Chakras. Simply put they can be thought of as a roadmap to activating our potential within this human form!

One of the key benefits of understanding the chakras is learning more about the corresponding virtues of each chakra that make up our personalities and as well as mantras for each Chakra and how to integrate a meditative practice into your daily life that will help work with them and activate them.

"Prana is the Vital Christ or Great Breath. That Vital Christ is modified into Akasha, within which the Son, the First Begotten, the Purusha [Innermost] of every human being, is hidden. Akasha is modified into Ether, and the Ether is transformed into Tattvas. The Tattvas are the origin of fire, air, water, and earth. Therefore, everything that exists, everything that has been, and everything that shall be comes from the Great Breath, the Cosmic Christ, the Army of the Voice, whose supreme commander is Jesus Christ."
― Kundalini Yoga: Mysteries of the Fire

"The Akash is the vehicle of sound. The Kundalini is Akashic. Therefore, one cannot incarnate the Word without the Akash, since the Akash is the vehicle of sound. This is why we need to raise the Akashic serpent in order to incarnate the Word, Christ. The Kundalini (Akashic fire) becomes creative with the Word, because the Kundalini is the vehicle of the creative Word."
― The Aquarian Message

“Each of the seven chakras is governed by spiritual laws, principles of consciousness that we can use to cultivate greater harmony, happiness, and wellbeing in our lives and in the world.”
― Deepak Chopra

"Chakras are organizational centers for the reception, assimilation, and transmission of life-force energy. They are the stepping stones between heaven and earth.”
― Anodea Judith

Muladhara:

“The root of good and evil is found in the church of Ephesus.”
― Kundalini Yoga

Svadhisthana:

“The Yogi/Yogini who meditates in this chakra never fears water; he learns to command the elemental creatures of the waters and he conquers occult powers.”
― Kundalini Yoga

Manipura:

“This chakra collects the solar forces and nourishes all the other plexuses with them.”
― Kundalini Yoga

Anahata:

“The ascent of the Kundalini is performed in accordance with the merits of our heart. In order to get the benefit of only one vertebra in the spinal column, the yogi must submit himself to numerous trials and terrible purifications.”
― Kundalini Yoga

Vishuddha:

“Whosoever learns to meditate on this chakra can know the highest esoteric knowledge of all the sacred books…”
― Kundalini Yoga

Ajna:

“The plexus of this chakra is a lotus flower that sprouts from the pituitary gland. This gland is the page or light bearer of the pineal gland, where the crown of the Saints, the lotus of one thousand petals, the eye of Dangma, the eye of intuition, is situated. Psychic clairvoyance by itself, without the development of the coronary chakra, could lead the Yogi/Yogini astray into grave errors.”
― Kundalini Yoga

Sahasrara:

“Intuition allow us to know the internal reality of all the images that float in the Astral Light. The intuitive clairvoyant is omniscient. A clairvoyant without intuition is like a ship without a compass or a ship without a steering wheel. The intuitive clairvoyant is powerful.”

"Super-sensual visions appear before the mental eye of the aspirant, new worlds with indescribable wonders and charms unfold themselves before the Yogi, planes after planes reveal their existence and grandeur to the practitioner and the Yogi gets divine knowledge, power and bliss, in increasing degrees, when Kundalini passes through chakra after chakra, making them to bloom in all their glory which before the touch of Kundalini, do not give out their powers, emanating their divine light and fragrance and reveal the divine secrets and phenomena, which lie concealed from the eyes of worldly-minded people who would refuse to even believe of their existence."
― Swami Sivananda

Swami Sivananda was an Indian doctor and founded the Divine Life Society. His writings are brilliantly clear about the nature of Kundalini and the requirements of this divine energy.

The word Kundalini is most known from the Sanskrit language, yet it is even more ancient than that language; it has roots that go back to Atlantis and beyond.

“Kundalini” is a Sanskrit term meaning “coiled,” and it refers to a specific type of meditation that's believed to have the ability to fully awaken your potential for awareness.

Kundalini refers to a cosmic force, an energy unlike any energy that we know physically. Kundalini is not mere electricity or magnetism or heat, but is the source of them all. Kundalini is a kind of force or energy that is pure, divine, raw potentiality, that is then modified according to its condition.

In the West, Kundalini is also a basic foundational aspect of religion, but it is more veiled. In the Judeo-Christian tradition it is symbolized as the pentecostal fire of the Holy Spirit or that column of fire that led the Israelites in their great exodus.

When we talk about Kundalini, really we are talking about the Divine Mother. We are talking about the goddess, and you can call her Isis, Mary, Tara, Athena, Minerva, whatever name you want, but she is the cause of existence. Her body is energy and her pure potentiality awaits us in our bodies.

In Hinduism, the goddess Sakti has a spouse: Siva. masculine and feminine, two forces. Siva can create or destroy. Sakti is Siva’s power. These figures symbolize forces, energies. Siva is not an individual, but a force, an intelligence.

Kundalini is a form of divine feminine energy believed to be located at the base of the spine, in the muladhara. It is an important concept in Śhaiva Tantra, where it is believed to be a force or power associated with the divine feminine or the formless aspect of the Goddess.

The goddess Sakti can polarize as Kali Ma. Every goddess has her opposite. Athena is opposed by Medusa. In Hinduism, Kali Ma can be a positive goddess who liberates and she can also be the goddess of death, the goddess of hell.

"Kundalini means, ‘She Who is Hidden,’ and points to the dormant goddess in every human being’s body. While the kundalini force is found in muladharachakra, she hypnotizes humans, like maya herself, and renders them slaves to the illusory. Kundalini can only awaken people if she travels up along the spine."
― Zeena Schreck

Let the snake inside you (life energy or Kundalini) dance to the tune of the universe.”
― Shunya

"We have to get to the Self beyond its physical and mental instrumentalities to realize we are not fragile mortal beings; there is an unbroken link between ourselves and the Beloved Mother of the Universe, the Divine Consciousness flowing through and permeating Infinity."
— Daya Mata

"Oh mother Gaia, of Gods and men the source, endowed with fertile, all-destroying force; all-parent, bounding, whose prolific powers produce a store of beauteous fruits and flowers."

"All-various maid, the immortal world’s strong base, eternal, blessed, crowned with every grace; from whose wide womb as from an endless root, fruits many-formed, mature, and grateful shoot."

"Deep-bosomed, blessed, pleased with grassy plains, sweet to the smell, and with prolific rains."

"All-flowery Daimon, centre of the world, around thy orb the beauteous stars are hurled with rapid whirl, eternal and divine, whose frames with matchless skill and wisdom shine."

"Come, blessed Goddess, listen to my prayer, and make increase of fruits thy constant care; with fertile seasons in thy train draw near, and with propitious mind thy suppliants hear."

― Orphic Hymns 26 to Ge, 3rd Century B.C. to 2nd A.D.

In the Greek mysteries, Gaia or Gaea is a name of the Divine Mother.

Gaia is Mother Nature, or the planet Earth. This symbol has a deep spiritual significance, with many levels of meaning.

Gaia does not merely represent the literal, physical planet. Gaia represents forces of nature: laws and intelligences that function on every level of the cosmos.

Gaia represents nature—not a person, but nature as a whole. So you see, nature is an intelligence. Nature is not stupid. Nature is extremely complicated, and very beautiful and terrifying. Nature is a force that is far beyond our comprehension.

As proud as we are of our civilization and our accomplishments, we scarcely understand nature. We don’t even understand the nature of our bodies. We barely understand what it means to be alive.

The very first section of that scripture says that Gaia is the source of men and Gods. That is because everything living, on every level of nature, comes from the Divine Mother, without exception—even the Gods.

Every living creature, from the smallest particle, to the biggest universe, is all merely a part of her body.

This is part of what we need to grasp: the incredible complexity of the Divine Mother.

We talk about Gaia as the planet Earth, and this is true and relevant.

But Gaia is also Prakriti, which is the womb of space. It is existence itself. The Divine Mother is matter, energy. In fact, her name in Latin is Mater, which is where we get the word matter.

The most ancient word in almost every language is also the first word that we say when we are children: Ma.

In languages around the world, children call their mother Ma or Ama.

This is Mater, Mother, Mary, Maria, Ma.

In the Asian cultures, Hinduism, and India, and China, and Tibet, Ma is Amma. So this word is universal.

"Trust the divine power, and she will free the godlike elements in you and shape all into an expression of divine nature."

"Before the soul can see, the Harmony within must be attained, and fleshly eyes be rendered blind to all illusion."
― Helena Petrovna Blavatsky - The Voice of the Silence

"May God open the eyes of your heart, shedding His divine light. The angelic realm, which contains the potential of future creation, incorporeal existences, the meaning of all and everything to come, and divine power, is the element from which the visible world is created and, therefore the material world is under the influence and domination of the angelic realm. The movement, the sound, the voice, the ability to speak, to eat and to drink is not from the existences themselves in the visible, material world. They all pass through the invisible world of the angelic realm. We think that we see with our eyes. The information, the influences of perception, are due to our senses—while the real influence, the meaning of things, the power behind what sees and what is seen, can be reached neither by the senses, nor by deduction and analysis, comparison, contrasts, and associations made through intellectual theories. The invisible world can only be penetrated by the eye and the mind of the heart. Indeed, the reality of this visible also can only be seen by the mind and eye of the heart."
— Sufi Master Ibn 'Arabi - Divine Governance of the Human Kingdom

Whether we've studied a spiritual teaching for some number of years, or if it's something new, regardless of the tradition, we always go back towards the very root, which is the direct experience of the truths contained within religion. This is why we say that Gnosis is a heart doctrine; it is a doctrine of the heart. It is not exclusively intellectual, for while we study and accumulate knowledge, a robust spiritual culture, of different scriptures and different writings, really what we look for is the practice. What we seek is the experience. And this is why we say that Gnosis is a Dharma of the heart.

When we say that it relates with the heart, it has to do with certainty, the fact that we know from experience, for its one thing to read about spirituality, about the different realms of the universe called the Sephiroth in Kabbalah, different modalities of consciousness, out of body experiences, experiences in which one may find oneself conversing with the Gods. It's one thing to read about it; it's a completely different thing to experience it.

And this is why we say Gnosis relates with the heart; it is what we live palpably within ourselves.

"The Doctrine of the Eye is for the crowd, the Doctrine of the Heart, for the elect. The first repeat in pride: 'Behold, I know,' the last, they who in humbleness have garnered, low confess, "thus have I heard.'"
― Helena Petrovna Blavatsky - The Voice of the Silence

“If Light Is In Your Heart<3 You Will Find Your Way Home.”
― Rumi

“The first is chini (like the sound of that word, like the voice of the Son of Man); the second is chini-chini; the third is the sound of (the great cosmic) bell; the fourth is that of conch (the internal thundering of the Earth); the fifth is that of tantri (lute); the sixth is that sound of tala (cymbals of the gods); the seventh is that of (enchanted) flute; the eighth is that of bheri (big drum); the ninth is that of mrdanga (double drum); and the tenth is that of clouds (thunder, the sound of the seven thunders that in the apocalypse repeat the voices of the Eternal One).”

The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil that is symbolized in the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, is a very deep and profound symbol that requires a great deal of patience in order to grasp its real meaning. This is because this Tree of Knowledge, Daath, relates to the very fiber of our Being. It is not something that you can grasp simply intellectually or as an idea.

Daath is concerned with the fire that animates the atoms in your body. Daath is concerned with the energy that is within every thought, the energy that drives every emotion. The substance of every sensation that we experience is related to the Tree of Knowledge, Daath.

Do not make the mistake of thinking that simply by hearing a few lectures or reading a few books that you will comprehend what Daath means. The fact is that this mystery of Daath has been explored by saints and prophets for centuries, and its depths still have not been fully explored—because there is so much wisdom, so much to this science of Daath.

Daath [דעת] is Hebrew and means knowledge. It is spelled with three letters: Daleth [ד], Ayin [ע], and Tav / Tau [ת].

"For the Lord your God is a consuming fire..."
― Deuteronomy 4:24

In the beginning [Bereishit] of Elohim's creation of the heavens and the earth.

"Now the earth was astonishingly empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep, and the spirit of God [Ruach Elohim] was hovering over the face of the water."
― Genesis 1:1-2

In the very beginning of the Bible we read about the days of Genesis, which symbolize the creation of the man, creation of our own spiritual being, how we walk through Initiation. The one who hovers over the sexual waters is the spirit of the Elohim: the Ruach Elohim. This is our own inner Being. The Spirit of the Elohim is Chesed, goodness, love, mercy, our inner Spirit, our own individual inner Father. Every person has their own inner Father, and that inner Father is a particle or a spark of the great Blaze, which we call God.

The knowledge that we seek to understand is symbolized in the book of Genesis as a tree whose fruit Adam and Eve are forbidden to eat.

"Now the Lord God took the man, and He placed him in the Garden of Eden to work it and to guard it. And the Lord God commanded man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat. But of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat of it, for on the day that you eat thereof, you shall surely die."
― Genesis 2:15-17

Adam and Eve make the mistake of being tempted by the fruit of the tree of knowledge and from that moment suffering began. If we look at it historically, all of the suffering that we have, the suffering of death, of age, of illness, of pain, emotional pain, spiritual pain, began with that mistake. But we know that every symbol in the Bible and all the great scriptures holds more than one meaning, and in the Gnostic tradition, we go deeper than the literal meaning and penetrate into the other levels that are hidden from those who are not specially educated or initiated.

The recitals of the law are the vestment of the law. Woe to him who takes that vestment for the law itself! David had this in mind when he said:

"Open Thou my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law (Psalms 119, 18), i.e., what is hidden under the cloak of this law."

"There are foolish people who, when they see a man covered with fine clothes, look no further than the garment, and yet it is the body that lends value to the clothes; and still more precious is the soul. The law also has its body. There are commandments that may be called the body of the law, and the ordinary recitals which are mingled with them are the clothes which cover the body. The simple-minded take heed of nothing but the vestments or the recitals of the law; they know nothing else, and do not see what is hidden under this garment. The well-informed think not of the vestment, but of the body that the vestment covers. Finally, the wise, servants of the Supreme King, they who dwell upon the heights of Sinai, think of the soul only, which is the foundation of all the rest, and which is the law itself, and in time to come they will be prepared to contemplate the spirit of that spirit which breathes in the law."
― Zohar, part III, fol. 152a

"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge."
― Hebrews 13:4

This statement very clearly illustrates the two ways to use sexual knowledge (Daath). In other words, the Bible says that marriage is honorable (Tob) if it is undefiled. But if it is defiled, by fornication, adultery, lust, by Ra, the iniquitous spirit that tempts the mind through sex to indulge in eating the fruit, then God will judge.

We need to recall that the very first miracle that Jesus performed to demonstrate his mastery was at a wedding. This is no accident; it is not happenstance. It is because the wedding is sacred, and in the wedding is found the heart and root of his teaching, which unfortunately was excised out of the Bible by ignorant people, and only shards of it remain in the Bible.

This teaching that he gave at the wedding was to transform water into wine; what is the wine? It is the wine of the Eucharist, the blood of Christ: it is Shamayim, Hebrew for the fiery water that descends from above. When that water is transformed through sexual transmutation, Christ can save.

"He that have faith [pisteuō] in me [Christ], as the scripture hath said, out of his abdomen [koilia] shall flow rivers of living water [all life emerges from the sexual water]."
― John 7:38

"Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. The scriptures in the bible, contain, wonderful, truths, about life. But by far, the most wonderful thing, contained in the bible, is God's love for us. God's love is the most wonderful thing, any human being can ever have."
― Psalm 119:18

The doorway to knowledge is what we seek when we enter into a religion, or any kind of spirituality, that doorway of which Jesus spoke in the Gospel:

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."
― Matthew 7:7-8

To knock on that doorway, we have to know where it is, and to aid us we have many religions in the world, many mystical teachings throughout all the different groups and ages of humanity. Contained within them all are the clues that can guide us towards that singular door which does not reside in only one religion or in any force or group outside of us. That door is not in any book. It is not in any priest, preacher, or master. The doorway is within ourselves.

This is why the ancient Greek oracle said:

“Know Thyself.”

The doorway that we need to knock upon and pass through is within us.

Daath, the Sephirah of Hebrew mystery, is produced by the esoteric conjunction of Shiva-Shakti, Osiris-Isis, perpetually united in Yesod, the Foundation, the Ninth Sephirah, the Ninth Sphere, sex, but hidden by the mysteries of Daath which has the Tantric knowledge, which is processed with the Sahaja Maithuna, or Sexual Magic, that when correctly utilized permits the intimate realization of the Being.

It is necessary that all of us profoundly reflect, that we deeply comprehend all of this. He and She are united in the Cubic Stone of Yesod, which is sex. The perfect Tantric knowledge is the outcome of the union of He and She with which we can internally self-realize ourselves in all the levels of the Being.

Some Kabbalistic authors suppose that Daath, the Sephirah that gives knowledge or sapience, comes from the fusion of the masculine Cosmic Christ, Chokmah, with Binah and assume that Binah is exclusively feminine. Such an affirmation is purely false, because the Holy Spirit is really masculine, and when he unfolds himself into the Divine Mother, the perfect couple is formed.

In the Cubic Stone of Yesod, in the Ninth Sphere, Tantric knowledge, the Tantric initiation comes. The development of the serpent along the dorsal spine is possible by means of the Tantras.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge [Daath, Gnosis]: because thou hast [fornicated, thou hast] rejected knowledge [Daath, Gnosis], I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law [Torah] of thy Goddess [the Schekinah], I will also forget thy children."
― Hosea 4: 6

"Whenever the Law declines and the purpose of life is forgotten, I manifest myself on earth. I am born in every age to protect the good, to destroy evil, and to re-establish the Law."
— Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita 4.7-8

James Lindsay's recent outline of Gnosticism and its relationship to modern neo-Marxist agitators is an interesting piece. He admits himself he's having some trouble organizing his thoughts on the topic, so I thought I'd give it a shot. In addition to his description of Gnosticism, Hermeticism, and its relation to modern Marxist offshoots, he argues that his perspective might give us some weapons against them. I think he's a little off the mark there, but he's worth listening to and considering.

"We recognize Jesus-Iesus-Zeus-Jupiter as the new Super-Man who totally assimilated the Christ-principle, and became for that reason, a God-Man. We consider that we must imitate him. Jesus was a complete man, a true man in the full sense of the word. He attained the absolute assimilation of the Universal Cosmic Christ-Principle through Sexual Magic."
– The Perfect Matrimony - Samael Aun Weor

The incarnation of the Messiah, the Anointed One, the Savior, is explained in Hebrew words, in Kabbalah.

The name Jesus comes from the Hebrew name Yeshua, Jah-ishua, which means "Iod-He-Vav-He is my savior," ‪‬יה השוי or "Jah is my savior." The pronounce in English, Jesus, derives from the Greek language, which we explain with the words "Jew-Zeus," since Iesus, as Gnostics understand him, is "Zeus," the chief, the head, the boss of the White Lodge. Yes, we are talking about Jesus of Nazareth, the master who came 2,000 years ago. He represents the Cosmic Christ.

Christ is a force, an energy, that is represented in the first triangle of the Tree of Life: Kether, Chokmah, Binah. The three of them are called the Cosmic Christ, the Holy Trinity, which represents the three primary forces, the Holy Triamatzikamno, the law of three, the law that creates. In accordance to Christianity, this triangle is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, which are not persons but forces that are within us and within everything in the universe.

In Hebrew there is a name a word that is very common in this day: "Jew." The word Jew is written with the first three letters of the holy name of God. The holy name of God is Iod-He-Vav-He. That is the holy Tetragrammaton, which we explained in many lectures. We call it Tetragrammaton because it is formed by four letters: in Greek, tetra means four. Tetragrammaton means "four lettered name."

"Once upon a time there were gods only, and no mortal creatures. But when the time came that these also should be created, the gods fashioned them out of earth and fire and various mixtures of both elements in the interior of the earth; and when they were about to bring them into the light of day, they ordered Prometheus and Epimetheus to equip them, and to distribute to them severally their proper qualities. Epimetheus said to Prometheus: ‘Let me distribute, and do you inspect.’ This was agreed, and Epimetheus made the distribution [of claws and fur and other attributes] . . . Thus did Epimetheus, who, not being very wise, forgot that he had distributed among the brute animals all the qualities which he had to give-and when he came to man, who was still unprovided, he was terribly perplexed. Now while he was in this perplexity, Prometheus came to inspect the distribution, and he found that the other animals were suitably furnished, but that man alone was naked and shoeless, and had neither bed nor arms of defence. The appointed hour was approaching when man in his turn was to go forth into the light of day; and Prometheus, not knowing how he could devise his salvation, stole the mechanical arts of Hephaistos and Athene, and fire with them."
― Plato - Protagoras (Greek Philosopher 4th Century B.C.)

Of all of the great mythologies and traditions that we have inherited from our forefathers, one of the deepest, richest, and most profound is the mysteries of the Greeks. The Greek mythologies that we learn about as we are educated in the Western world come from a very ancient tradition that unfortunately has not been fully transmitted through our school text books and children’s story books. Those simple tales provide us with the garments, the outer coverings of the ancient stories, but the garments do not reveal the soul of those mysteries.

The classic Greek stories of the gods, titans, and heroes are not just comic book stories or fairy tales. They are a profound reflection of the most ancient and venerable sciences of this universe. So when we recall the stories of Odysseus, Perseus, Herakles, Jason, Athena, or Medusa, we have to purge from our mind the comic book interpretations of these stories, and delve instead into their true heart, their true meaning.

"This precept descended from Heaven: know thyself."
― Juvenal

"Know thyself as the pride of His creation, the link uniting divinity and matter; behold a part of God Himself within thee; remember thine own dignity nor dare descend to evil or meanness."
― Akhenaton

"There are two sentences inscribed upon the Ancient oracle... "Know thyself" and "Nothing too much"; and upon these all other precepts depend."
― Plutarch

Indeed to know oneself is to know the nature of the universe.

Greek:

τὸ γνῶναι ἑαυτὸν οὐδὲν ἄλλο ἐστὶν ἢ τοῦ σύμπαντος κόσμου φύσιν γνῶναι.

Roman Latin:

“Nosce (cognosce) te ipsum”, NOSCE is 'know' and TE is 'thy' and IPSUM is 'self.'

“Homo Nosce Te Ipsum,” as the following:

“I warn you, whoever you are, Oh! You who want to probe the arcana of nature, that if you do not find within yourself that which you are looking for, you shall not find it outside either! If you ignore the excellences of your own house, how do you pretend to find other excellences? Within you is hidden the treasure of treasures! Know thyself and you will know the Universe and the Gods.”
― Pythagoras

Similar to that passage of Jesus of Nazareth and Nicodemus in the gospel of John, which in Latin states:

“Erat autem homo ex Pharisaeis Nicodemus nomine princeps Iudaeorum”
― John 3: 1

"Life is short. Time is fleeting. Realize the Self. Purity of the heart is the gateway to God. Aspire. Renounce. Meditate. Be good; do good. Be kind; be compassionate. Inquire, know Thyself."

"Do thine own work, and know thyself."
― Plato

"Knowledge can be acquired by a suitable and complete study, no matter what the starting point is. Only one must know how to "learn." What is nearest to us is man; and you are the nearest of all men to yourself. Begin with the study of yourself; remember the saying "Know thyself."
― G. I. Gurdjieff

"The material and the spiritual are but two parts of one universe and one truth. By overstressing one part or the other, man fails to achieve the balance necessary for harmonious development... Practice the art of living in this world without losing your inner peace of mind. Follow the path of balance to reach the inner wondrous garden of Self-Realization."

"In the staged arts of long ago, the individual would receive information in his three brains: motor, emotional, and intellectual. In the schools of today however, only the intellectual brain receives information. Neurosis and the sick states of the mind are due to this. Mental disequilibrium is avoided by balancing the three brains. The objective of studying the Kabbalah is to be skilled for work in the Internal Worlds... One who does not comprehend remains confused in the Internal Worlds. Kabbalah is the basis in order to understand the language of these worlds."
― Samael Aun Weor - Tarot and Kabbalah

In the previous lecture, we talked about the myth of Persephone, and how this Greek symbol relates to our psychological scenario.

Persephone is a Greek Goddess, the daughter of Demeter and Zeus, who becomes entranced by a flower and is captured by Hades and taken into the Underworld.

The story has many levels of meaning; it relates to the development of humanity in the ancient past, but right now we are primarily concerned with what it represents in us: the flow of forces and energies in our psychology, within us, within our mind, within our heart.

The flower that entranced Persephone is called Narcissus, and represents desire. We are entranced by desire. This story represents a psychological situation that happens in our minds.

Persephone is the daughter of the Divine Mother. Symbolically, the child of the Divine Mother is our Soul. Persephone represents our Essence, our consciousness, our true nature.

The understanding of the Essence, to know what it is, to experience it, to use it from moment to moment, is the original purpose of every religion. Nowadays, most have lost that purpose.

Nonetheless, the original purpose of religion was to teach us how to recognize and then awaken the consciousness, thereby achieving union with our divine source, what some call God, Tao, Brahma, Allah, etc.

"The gloom and depression of the Lesser Mysteries represented the agony of the spiritual soul unable to express itself because it has accepted the limitations and illusions of the human environment. The crux of the Eleusinian argument was that man is neither better nor wiser after death than during life. If he does not rise above ignorance during his sojourn here, man goes at death into eternity to wander about forever, making the same mistakes which he made here. If he does not outgrow the desire for material possessions here, he will carry it with him into the invisible world, where, because he can never gratify the desire, he will continue in endless agony. Dante's Inferno is symbolically descriptive of the sufferings of those who never freed their spiritual natures from the cravings, habits, viewpoints, and limitations of their Plutonic personalities. Those who made no endeavor to improve themselves (whose souls have slept) during their physical lives, passed at death into Hades, where, lying in rows, they slept through all eternity as they had slept through life."
― Manly P. Hall - The Secret Teachings of All Ages

Persephone (Greek Περσεφόνη, literally "bringer of death" or "destroyer"; also known as Kore, Κόρη, "virgin") A symbolic character from Greek mythology of central importance in the famous Eleusinian mysteries. She embodies many very sophisticated and complex esoteric teachings that have been kept secret by initiates of the mysteries. Primarily, she represents our soul.

The most famous of the ancient religious Mysteries were the Eleusinian, whose rites were celebrated every five years in the city of Eleusis to honor Ceres (Demeter, Rhea, or Isis) and her daughter, Persephone.

The initiates of the Eleusinian School were famous throughout Greece for the beauty of their philosophic concepts and the high standards of morality which they demonstrated in their daily lives.

Because of their excellence, these Mysteries spread to Rome and Britain, and later the initiations were given in both these countries.

The Eleusinian Mysteries, named for the community in Attica where the sacred dramas were first presented, are generally believed to have been founded by Eumolpos about fourteen hundred years before the birth of Christ, and through the Platonic system of philosophy their principles have been preserved to modern times...

The Lesser Mysteries were dedicated to Persephone. In his Eleusinian and Bacchic Mysteries, Thomas Taylor sums up their purpose as follows: "The Lesser Mysteries were designed by the ancient theologists, their founders, to signify occultly the condition of the unpurified soul invested with an earthy body, and enveloped in a material and physical nature.

The legend used in the Lesser rites is that of the abduction of the goddess Persephone, the daughter of Ceres, by Pluto, the lord of the underworld, or Hades. While Persephone is picking flowers in a beautiful meadow, the earth suddenly opens and the gloomy lord of death, riding in a magnificent chariot, emerges from its somber depths and, grasping her in his arms, carries the screaming and struggling goddess to his subterranean palace, where he forces her to become his queen.

The soul of man - often called Psyche, and in the Eleusinian Mysteries symbolized by Persephone - is essentially a spiritual thing. Its true home is in the higher worlds, where, free from the bondage of material form and material concepts, it is said to be truly alive and self-expressive. The human, or physical, nature of man, according to this doctrine, is a tomb, a quagmire, a false and impermanent thing, the source of all sorrow and suffering. Plato describes the body as the sepulcher of the soul; and by this he means not only the human form but also the human nature.

"Sokrates: There were certain priests and priestesses who have studied so as to be able to give a reasoned account of their ministry [i.e. the priests of the Mysteries]; and Pindar also and many another poet of heavenly gifts. As to their words, they are these : mark now, if you judge them to be true. They say that the soul of man is immortal, and at one time comes to an end, which is called dying, and at another is born again, but never perishes. Consequently one ought to live all one's life in the utmost holiness. `For from whomsoever Persephone shall accept requital for ancient wrong, the souls of these she restores in the ninth year to the upper sun again [i.e. reincarnation]; from them arise glorious kings and men of splendid might and surpassing wisdom, and for all remaining time are they called holy heroes amongst mankind.'"
― Plato - Meno 81a (Greek philosopher 4th Century B.C.)

John Calvin taught that sin was the work of God. Just like Islam and paganism, Calvinism teaches that God is the author of sin. This full length video is a refutation to that blasphemous charge.

John Calvin said, "Whatever things are done wrongly and unjustly by man, these very things are the right and just works of God."

Martin Luther said, "Since, therefore, God moves and does all in all, He necessarily moves and does all in Satan and the wicked man..."

Luther also said, "God worketh all things in all men even wickedness in the wicked."

“There are three basic chemical substances which are called by the philosophers salt, sulphur, and mercury, but which are not to be confounded in any way with the crude salt, sulphur, and mercury taken from the earth or secured from the apothecary. Salt, sulphur, and mercury each has a triune nature, for each of these substances contains, in reality, also the other two substances, according to the secret arcanum of the wise. The body of salt is, therefore, threefold, namely salt, sulphur, and mercury; but in the body of salt one of the three (salt) predominates. Mercury is likewise composed of salt, sulphur, and mercury with the latter element predominating. Sulphur, similarly, is actually salt, sulphur, and mercury, with sulphur predominating.”
― Von Welling

In alchemy, Azoth is the life principle of all metals. Azoth is most known in relation to Paracelsus.

"The Azoth and the fire clean the brass, that is to say, they clean and completely remove all of its blackness.”
— Semita Semitae - By Villanova

It is commonly stated that the word Azoth is derived from Arabic al-zā'ūq: “the mercury.” While this is relevant, it is not the only important appearance of this word.

"Behold now, observe הזאת Hazoth (the Azoth) is near, flee to it, and it is small: I pray thee, let me escape thither -- is it not small? -- and my soul shall live."
— Genesis 19: 20

"And Adam said, זאת zo'th [is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: זאת zo'th shall be called אשה 'ishshah, because זאת zo'th was taken out of איש 'iysh."
— Genesis 2:23

איש + זאת = Ish-Zoth = Azoth. This has been explained in the course on Alchemy.

".Sulphur, Mercury, and Salt, which, volatized and fixed alternately, compose the AZOTH..."
— Eliphas Levi - Transcendental Magic (1856)

".The four elements of Alchemy are: Salt, Mercury, Sulfur, and Azoth: the Salt is the matter; the Mercury is the Ens Seminis, the Azoth is the mysterious ray of Kundalini."
— Samael Aun Weor - Alchemy and Kabbalah

"Whosoever wants to edify the New Jerusalem must first awaken the sacred fire of Kundalini. This Pentecostal serpent is INRI, Azoth."
— Samael Aun Weor - The Aquarian Message

"The Mercury is the metallic soul of the sperm; understand, it is the metallic soul. Allow me to illustrate this better: there are three types of Mercury. The first Mercury is called the Brute Azoth or the sperm. The second Mercury is called the metallic soul of the sperm, and the third Mercury is called Mercury plus Sulfur (Mercury fecundated by fire). To conclude, the Mercury is the metallic soul of the sperm, and the Sulfur is the sacred fire."
— Samael Aun Weor - The Major Mysteries

"The name of Aleph and the sacred name of Thau must be uttered, united in the Kabbalistic name of Azoth... Sophia is found in the sexual Chaos, in the brute Azoth. We must liberate Sophia from within the darkness of the Chaos... The brute Azoth, which is the sacred sperm not yet worked with, is a closed book. We need to open that book."
— Samael Aun Weor - The Gnostic Bible: The Pistis Sophia Unveiled

Alchemists always address three symbolic substances: mercury, sulfur, and salt. Azoth is added as a fourth, mysterious permuting life principle. According to Alchemy: Salt, sulfur, and mercury each have a triune nature, for each of these substances contain, in reality, also the other two substances. Therefore, the body of Salt is threefold: salt, sulfur, and mercury; but in the body of Salt one of the three (salt) predominates. Mercury is likewise composed of salt, sulfur, and mercury with the latter element predominating. Sulfur, similarly, is indeed salt, sulfur, and mercury, with sulfur predominating.

The permutation of these nine divisions - 3 times 3 – 9 is done thanks to Azoth, the sacred fire of Kundalini. Azoth is therefore the universal substance, the invisible eternal fire, electricity, magnetism, astral light, the measureless spirit of life, the fiery mercurial essence that flows out from the throne of God and the Lamb, the spinal medulla. This is the River of living water in Eden – Sex, the Genesiac mist of the earth, the igneous particles ‘Haishim’ within the dust of the ground (Adamah) from where God formed the electronic bodies of Adam, the true human being.

An alchemical term for a mysterious substance that is capable of transforming other substances. It is also known as the Philosopher’s Stone. It comes from an Arabic word that means mercury, resulting in the common confusion that it refers to “mercury”. It is also symbolic of a mystical factor that brings about transformation in the human consciousness.

“He who does not seek it is not likely to find it.”
― Paracelsus

"Begin with dhyana, with meditation, and end in samadhi, in ecstasy, and you will know what God is. It is not a hypothesis, it is an experience. You have to LIVE it - that is the only way to know it."
― Rajneesh

Today our lecture is going to cover the topic of meditation. As we have moved through the discussion of various qualities of consciousness (of so-called Paramitas in Sanskrit), we today arrive at the fifth. So, to remind you, to set the context for this very important Paramita, we will quickly review the ones that lead up to this.

The first Perfection (Paramita) is usually called generosity or charity, and, in its essence, generosity is the aspiration to develop Bodhichitta. And, as you recall, Bodhichitta means "awakening mind," or "mind of wisdom," or even "wisdom heart."

The Bodhichitta is composed of two elements:

Compassion or conscious love, and the realization of emptiness, the understanding of emptiness.

The second Paramita is related to ethics, discipline.

The third is forbearance or patience.

The fourth is zeal or diligence or activity.

The fifth is usually called concentration or meditation, but for this one I want to refer to Sanskrit term, which is Dhyana, the Sanskrit word.

The sixth Paramita, or the ultimate conclusion of the development of all these consciousness attitudes, is Prajna.

You will hear a lot of variations of how to pronounce this word: `pra-na (`prazh-na), `pra-na, `pra-h-na. There is some disagreement how that "j" and "n" sound is made, but commonly it is 'nya'. This relates well to sounds that are not common in English, but are common in other Asian languages.

Prajna is usually translated as "Wisdom." And of course, we have to indicate that "Wisdom" in Hebrew is Chokmah, and as you know, Chokmah is the Christ.

"A Bodhisattva who gives with a mind that does not rely on dharmas is like a person with eyes who can see all kinds of things in the bright sunlight."
― The Vajra Prajna Paramita Sutra

Poreuomenon is a Greek word derived from poreuomai, meaning “propelled, depart, transfer, to pursue the journey on which one has already entered, to continue on one's journey, to go beyond physical life, to follow somebody, that is: to become his devotee; to lead or order one's life.”

Ouranon is translated as Uranus so Gnostically, the title Ouranon Poreuomenon means “to ascend to heaven” or “ascension to heaven.”

In Kabbalistic terminology, heaven is - in the first instance - the psychological side of the Kosmos Human; although it is within the physical body (Malkuth), it is absolutely different and higher than it.

This psychological heaven corresponds to the highest parts of the three-dimensional visible “heaven,” which is the planet’s atmosphere. Thus the psychological heaven does not belong to the physical earth.

When we read about the ascension of Jesus in Luke 24:51 and Acts 1: 9-11 regarding how He went to heaven, we read in Greek “Ouranon Poreuomenon” - Ouranon or Uranus meaning heaven and Poreuomenon which means a psychological initiatic development that the Initiate has undertaken.

This means that the Bodhisattva - through initiation - went to a place where no believer can go; the Bodhisattva went to those spheres that in Kabbalah are named Sephiroth within the world of Yetzirah, that are hidden from the eyes of the flesh or to that which is earthly, tridimensional.

Here the Bodhichitta is developed by ascending to his “Adytum,” which in Latin means “the Holy of Holies,” through the development of his Kosmic inheritance through the nine heavens.

Ouranon or Uranus is translated in Greek as “Heaven,” so according to Greek Mythology, Uranus was the father of Saturn (Binah). You see in the Tree of Life that Saturn is related with Binah, and Binah is an emanation of Chokmah, which in the Tree of Life is related with the zodiac and with the planet Uranus.

So in other words, when you read about the ascension of Jesus in the Bible, this ascension is written in Greek as “Ouranon Poreuomenon,” which means “the ascension into the heaven of Chokmah (Uranus).” This is why in the Nicene Creed it is stated:

He was made man (Ishim); and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate (the mind); he suffered and was buried; and on the third day he rose again according to the (Kabbalistic) Scriptures, and ascended into heaven (Ouranon – Uranus - Chokmah), and is seated at the right hand of the Father (Kether).

In essence, the symbiosis of the Bodhisattva is the psychological relationship of the Bodhichitta and the Bodhisattva through Buddhi (Wisdom), which is related with the Sephirah Geburah, by means of Nemesis, Karma.

Within the initiate of the straight path, Sophia (wisdom) is the concrete outcome of a symbiosis, that is, the psychological initiatic relationship between the Bodhisattva and the Bodhichitta, a mixture of the light of Chokmah (Wisdom – Christ), with the darkness or sapience of sin.

This symbiosis is shown in “Ecce Homo” (the Bodhisattva, the Superior Manas) with Objective Reasoning, which emerges on the sixth day of Genesis.

Ecce Homo: “behold the Heavenly Man” - the Bodhisattva working within the terrestrial man, the Bodhichitta, in order for the man of the sixth day to appear.

"All great things start on a small scale, all great movements begin with individuals; and if we wait for collective action, such action, if it takes place at all, is destructive and conducive to further misery. So revolution must begin with you and me."

Students of religion or spirituality often have the question in their mind, "What is the fastest way to enlightenment?"

Readers of spiritual books, or followers of Buddhism or Hinduism, often encounter this question being posed to a teacher.

The nature of the question reveals many things about the person who asks it. But the most direct answer that can be given is that the fastest way to enlightenment is by the daily, hourly, moment to moment application of the fourth paramita, the fourth "conscious attitude."

That attitude is called "Heroic Action." Sometimes it is translated as "diligence" or "endeavor."

"Only those who have developed the Bodhichitta in themselves and who have renounced all nirvanic happiness for the love of humanity can qualify themselves as Bodhisattvas. The Alchemist who does not sacrifice himself for humanity can never become a Bodhisattva. Only the Bodhisattvas with compassionate hearts who have given their life for humanity can incarnate the Intimate Christ. We must make a complete differentiation between the Sravakas and Buddhas Pratyekas on one side and the Bodhisattvas on the other. The Sravakas and Buddhas Pratyekas only preoccupy themselves with their particular perfection without caring a bit for this wretched suffering humanity. Obviously, the Buddhas Pratyekas and Sravakas can never incarnate Christ. Only the Bodhisattvas who sacrifice themselves for humanity can incarnate Christ. The sacred title of Bodhisattva is legitimately attained only by those who have renounced to all Nirvanic happiness for the love of suffering humanity. Obviously, before the Bodhisattva is born the Bodhichitta must be formed within ourselves. Furthermore, it is important to clarify the necessity of disintegrating the ego, the "I", in order for the Bodhichitta to emerge. The Bodhichitta is formed with the merits of love and supreme sacrifice for our fellow men. The Bodhisattva is formed within the environment and psychological atmosphere of the Bodhichitta. We must not make the mistake of mistaking the Bodhichitta with the Bodhisattva. The Bodhichitta is the awakened and developed superlative consciousness of the Being. The Bodhichitta emerges in the aspirant who sacrifices himself for his fellow men long before the mercurial bodies have been created."
― The Pistis Sophia Unveiled

We are arriving at the realm of the Bodhisattva, the level of Tiphereth, which according to the Tree of Life is the sixth Sephirah, Kabbalistically named the Son of Man.

It is important to clarify here different aspects by utilizing now the Tree of Life, so we invite you to utilize the tool that we have in Kabbalah, which is, the Tree of Life. Since we are going to point at the Tree of Life during the course of this disquisition in order for you to understand.

“A bridge of silver wings stretches from the dead ashes of an unforgiving nightmare to the jeweled vision of a life started anew.”
― Aberjhani - Journey through the Power of the Rainbow: Quotations from a Life Made Out of Poetry

Anastasis is a Greek word meaning "resurrection," or "rising up"; from "Ana" meaning "up" and "stanai" meaning "to make stand." It is related to the English word "resuscitate," which means to "raise," to "revive," or to go up again.

Let us read Mark 12:18-27:

Then came unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave [his] wife [behind him], and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed. And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise. And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.

In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.

And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spoke unto him, saying, I [am] the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

Here, in this chapter we are entering into a discussion about the resurrection. There are many people who think that because they believe in the Bible or because they belong to a certain religion, especially one of the three monotheistic religions (Judaism, Islam, and Christianity), that they will resurrect. They disregard what Jesus said: "God is not a God of the dead, but the God of the living." Jesus' statement may seem like a contradiction.

He also said that those who will resurrect "neither marry, nor are given in marriage (will not have a spouse); but are as the angels which are in heaven (with no marital life)."

Thus, in order to comprehend this passage from Mark 12: 18-27, which is related to this lecture, we have to point, as always, to the Tree of Life.

"If a Bodhisattva comprehends the dharma of no self, thus one calls him a true Bodhisattva."
― The Vajra Prajna Paramita Sutra

Prajna or Pragya (Sanskrit: प्रज्ञ) as प्रज्ञा, प्राज्ञ and प्राज्ञा is used to refer to the highest and purest form of wisdom, intelligence and understanding. Prajna is the state of wisdom which is higher than the knowledge obtained by reasoning and inference.

In his Ornament of the Middle Way, Santaraksita emphasizes the way to establish the unity of the two truths, which is the great indivisibility of appearance and emptiness, and thereby authentically elucidates the realization of the Victorious Lord of the Capable Ones.

Due to the power of Santaraksita's cultivation of the enlightened mind, and through his aspirations, the Buddha's teachings were disseminated and established in the snowy land of Tibet. Composed by this kind master, the Ornament of the Middle Way is a perfect scripture of extreme profundity.

In the sutras, which are the recorded teachings of the Buddha, we find this line:

"Thus, not being able to realize that which is known as emptiness, peaceful and unproduced, sentient beings have been helplessly wandering in different states of cyclic existence. Seeing this, enlightened ones have revealed or established emptiness through hundred-fold reasoning."

Prajna is the sixth paramita. The term Prajna is from the Sanskrit and is composed of two Sanskrit terms: "Pra" which refers to "that which is before," and "jna" which refers to knowledge.

The compound of these terms then means "before knowledge," "root knowledge," "profound knowledge." It is often translated as "perfect knowledge, intuitive wisdom, understanding, intelligence, discrimination or judgment."

When we compare this with the Initiatic Kabbalah, we see that Prajna refers to both Binah, which is Hebrew for "intelligence," and Chokmah, which is Hebrew for "wisdom." Prajna is the intelligence of the Logos, a kind of knowledge or understanding that is beyond the mind, beyond the intellect.

One of the ancient schools of Buddhism had a teacher named Chandrakirti who was a great explainer of the doctrine of the Buddha, and he wrote a text that is called the Madhyamakavatara. In this text he wrote this line:

"A single man, endowed with eyes, can lead unseeing multitudes with to where they wish to go. And so it is with wisdom, here; It takes the sightless virtues, guiding them to victory (buddhahood)."
― Madhyamakavatara - Chandrakirti

Stated another way, Prajna is the sixth paramita of insight, of discriminative awareness. When we say wisdom or profound knowledge or perfect knowledge, this is not a passive or latent intelligence, this is a penetrating intelligence, and what Chandrakirti is saying in the quote that I read you, is that it is this paramita that provides vision, guidance, to all the other paramitas.

In other words, as much as you may practice generosity, discipline, zeal, diligence, and meditation, without insight, you will be blind. Without Prajna, you cannot know the truth.

Bodhidharma said:

"Externally, all activity ceases. Internally, the mind stops its agitation. When the mind has become a wall, then Tao comes."

"The mind must be clear, free. It must be a temple without dusty stables, where only the flame of Prajna, so to speak, the flame of the Being, blazes."

"He had Bhakti, Sakti, Vidya and Seva-Bhava, Brahmacharya and Nishkamya-Bhava. He never boasted of His bravery and intelligence. He said to Ravana, "I am a humble messenger of Sri Rama. I have come here to serve Rama, to do His work. By the command of Lord Rama, I have come here. I am fearless, by the grace of Lord Rama. I am not afraid of death. I welcome it, if it comes while I am serving Lord Rama." Mark here how humble Hanuman was! How devoted He was to Lord Rama! He never said, "I am brave Hanuman. I can do anything and everything."
― Swami Sivananda

One of the most popular deities in the Hindu pantheon is named Hanuman. He is also one of the most recognizable deities, like Ganesha of whom we spoke in a recent lecture. Hanuman is depicted as a man with a monkey face, and is one of the chief characters in the epic story the Ramayana, which is one of the core mythologies of all of Asia, especially Southeast Asia.

Throughout all the regions of Southeast Asia are many variations on the myth and legend of Hanuman. Naturally, in the Gnostic tradition when we examine myths and legends we are looking for the spiritual meaning, the practical application of the story in relation with ourselves.

We need to be like Hanuman and follow our inner guru. That inner guru is Rama, who is the Bodhisattva in us the human soul. Rama is Tiphereth; the perfect man or perfect manas, who is, in the ultimate sense, inseparable from Chesed, our Innermost, Atman, our Buddha, our inner Ganesha. The bodhisattva is the willpower of Atman, his way of expressing himself; he is the right arm of Atman, the strength of Atman. That is the Bodhisattva.

In the story of Hanuman we see represented a great hero who is completely devoted to his lord, to his master, to his guru: Rama.

Metempsychosis from meta, “change,” and from en, “in,” and psyche, “soul.” Or in other words, the process of Reincarnation or incarnation of the Pneuma (Geburah and Chesed) by means of the process of denial within the Bodhichitta.

Chasmalim enlighten me with the splendors of Elohim and Shechinah!

This is a prayer recited in the Invocation of Solomon, when the priest, who represents Chesed, is invoking all of the powers of the different worlds of the Tree of Life, which are of course related with Assiah, Yetzirah, Briah, and Atziluth.

We are arriving with the sequence of these lectures to the Sephirah Chesed, which is related with the Spirit, the individual Spirit of each one of us. Chesed is translated as “mercy” or “charity” but also has another name, which is Gedulah, and this Gedulah means “love,” also “goodness.”

When you refer to goodness or love we say Gedulah, and Chesed which is mercy; both names are attributed to Chesed (the Innermost) or to the Sephirah number 4 in the Tree of Life, which is on the top of the seven lower Sephiroth as you see counting from the bottom: Malkuth, Yesod, Hod, Netzach, Tiphereth, Geburah, and Chesed. These are the seven lower Sephiroth that we always state are related with the true human being, the Being that has to develop itself within the seven bodies in order to be called a Zauir-Anpin (lesser countenance).

Malkuth, the physical body with its three brains, is the opposite of the Triune Spirit: Chesed, Geburah, and Tiphereth (the Pneumatikon – the Spirit).

Malkuth is indeed the opposite of Chesed. All the Sephiroth related with the work of the Bodhichitta that we are discussing in different lectures are between Chesed and Malkuth.

The triune spirit - or the “pneuma” as we call it in Greek - is the Monad, which is a trio of Chesed, Geburah, and Tiphereth, in other words Spirit, Divine Soul, and Human Soul.

"Avataras appear for special reasons in special circumstances. Whenever there is much unrighteousness, whenever confusion and disorder set in on account of unrighteousness and baffle the well-ordered progress of people, whenever the balance of human society is upset by selfish, ruthless and cruel beings, whenever irreligion and Adharma prevail, whenever the foundations of social organisations are undermined, Avataras appear to establish Dharma and to restore peace. Avatara is a descent of God for the ascent of man. A ray from the Hiranyagarbha descends on earth with mighty powers to keep up the harmony of the universe. The work done by the Avataras and their teachings produce a benign spiritual influence on human beings and help them in their upward divine unfoldment and Self-realisation. The Avatara comes to reveal the divine nature in man and makes him rise above the petty materialistic life of passion and egoism."
― Swami Sivananda - Lord Krishna - His Lilas and Teachings

Throughout Southeast Asia—Nepal, India, Burma, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the surrounding countries—the main cosmic drama that tells the story of spirituality and the potential of the human being is encapsulated, encoded, in The Ramayana, an epic poem that has strong similarities to the Western Odyssey and Iliad written by Homer. The Ramayana is the story of Ramachandra, often just called Rama, a great hero worshipped as God on Earth, who accomplished many great tasks for the benefit of humanity.

“The gods, the Gandharvas, Siddhas and holy Rishis approached Brahma and said, "O venerable Lord! The demon Ravana is harassing us in various ways through his power on account of Your boon to him. We are not able to check him. Please protect us."

“In the meanwhile, Lord Hari arrived. He said to the gods, "O gods! Be not afraid. I shall incarnate on earth to protect you all and destroy the wicked Ravana."

“Lord Vishnu divided Himself into four portions and chose King Dasaratha for His father.”

"Lord Ganesha represents Om or the Pranava, which is the chief Mantra among the Hindus. Nothing can be done without uttering it. This explains the practice of invoking Ganesha before beginning any rite or undertaking any project. His two feet represent the power of knowledge and the power of action. The elephant head is significant in that it is the only figure in nature that has the form of the symbol for Om."
― Swami Sivananda

Ganesha means "Lord of hosts." If you have studied Christianity or Judaism this will sound familiar to you, because "lord of hosts" appears throughout the Bible.

The remover of obstacles:

The elephant-headed Ganesha is renowned throughout India as the Lord of Beginnings, and both the placer and the remover of obstacles. It is for this reason that he is worshipped before any new venture is begun, when his benediction is essential.

The Sanskrit name "Lord of hosts" is derived from:

Gana means "hosts, group, collection, or categories." It can also be armies, any large number of things or people.

Isha means "Master"

Gana+Isha is "Master of hosts."

Another name for him used throughout India is Ganapati. The name Ganesha is used mostly in northern Indian traditions, while Ganapati is used in the south; yet, Ganapati also means "Lord of hosts."

Another important name for Ganesha is Vinayaka, and this name means "without a master." This refers to not one who avoids having a master, but one who excels all masters; there is no master higher, in other words, he is his own master.

"There is no polytheism in the Hindu religion."
― Swami Sivananda

In the ancient scriptures of India, it is stated from the mouth of the Goddess,

"Before the creation, I, only I, existed; nothing else was existent then."
― Mahâpurânam S'rî Mad Devî Bhâgavatam 7.31

The Divine Mother is a concept in yogic and Hindu philosophy that refers to the feminine aspect of the primal creator of the universe, or the spiritual spark of all life. In Hinduism, the Divine Mother may also be used as a term to refer to several of the supreme goddesses, including Adi Parashakti and Bhagavathi.

Krishna states:

"I [Christ] am the father and the mother of the world."

"I am the Queen, the gatherer-up of treasures, most thoughtful, first of those who merit worship. Thus Gods have established me in many places with many homes to enter and abide in. Through me alone all eat the food that feeds them,-each man who sees, breathes, hears the word outspoken. They know it not, but yet they dwell beside me. Hear, one and all, the truth as I declare it. I, verily, myself announce and utter the word that Gods and men alike shall welcome. I make the man I love exceeding mighty, make him a sage, a Rishi, and a Brahman. I bend the bow for Rudra that his arrow may strike and slay the hater of devotion. I rouse and order battle for the people, and I have penetrated Earth and Heaven. On the world's summit I bring forth the Father: my home is in the waters, in the ocean. Thence I extend o'er all existing creatures, and touch even yonder heaven with my forehead. I breathe a strong breath like the wind and tempest, while I hold together all existence. Beyond this wide earth and beyond the heavens I have become mighty in my grandeur."
― Devi - from Rig Veda 10

Many people limit this presentation of Krishna to being a man, a person. Many even reduce him down to being "baby Krishna." They limit their mind to the perception of what Krishna truly represents.

Krishna states:

"I am the father and the mother of everything."

“The one Supreme Personality of Godhead is hidden within everything. It is all-pervading. It is in everyone’s heart. It witnesses everyone’s activities. It lives in everyone’s heart. It is the witness. It is consciousness. It is transcendence. It is beyond the modes of nature.”
― Gopala-Tapaniya Upanishad

Krishna says about his identity:

"Earth, water, fire, air, ether, Manas, and Buddhi, egoism (Ahamkara) – thus is My Prakriti divided eight-fold. This is the inferior (Prakriti); but distinct from this know thou My superior Prakriti, the very life, O mighty-armed, by which this universe is upheld."
― Bhagavad-gita 7

“I am kama which is not contrary to dharma...”
― 7:11

Hinduism is a vastly sophisticated and complex religious tradition, with hundreds or even thousands of variations, different branches and schools, and many many ancient scriptures that describe many different aspects of religions. Yet we find a central theme throughout all Hinduism that describes the supreme manifestation of the Divine.

One of the most beautiful characteristics of the Hindu tradition is its recognition that God is ultimately nameless and formless, but as an expression of love, the Divine takes different forms and appearances in order to aid humanity.

Thus the Hindu tradition embraces and respects all Gods as expressions of the One. The Hindu tradition embraces and respects all religions. This is a very beautiful characteristic of the Hindu tradition.

Hinduism is one of the oldest religions that survive on this planet, in this age. Counted among its treasures are many of the oldest writings of humanity - which are of course scriptures – and, the longest writings of humanity.

Many Westerners think the Bible is one of the longest writings in humanity, and one of the oldest, but it is neither. Hinduism has both the oldest and the longest writings.

Today we are going to study one of the most important representations of Divinity in the Hindu tradition: Krishna.

"The higher nature in man always seeks for something which transcends itself and yet is its deepest truth; which claims all its sacrifice, yet makes this sacrifice its own recompense. This is man's dharma, man's religion, and man's self is the vessel which is to carry this sacrifice to the altar."
― Rabindranath Tagore

"For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together." ― Matthew 24:27, 28

Let us explain about the Hypostasis of the Heavenly Man who is the Bodhisattva, and the Earthly Man which is in Sanskrit or in Buddhism is the Bodhichitta from the Christian, from the Gospel's point of view.

Remember that this series of lectures are related with Christianity and Buddhism, and when we enter into the topic of Christianity, we have to go to the Tree of Life (Kabbalah), the very root of the Gospels, in order to comprehend the four Gospels in the Bible, and any of those Gospels that are called apocryphal (which are now very popular).

To begin, Hypostasis, Gnostically speaking, is the capacity to produce a union of the Soma Psuchikon (Soma is "body" in Greek, and Psuchikon means "the image-soul" of the psychological work that we are performing) with the Soma Pneumatikon. Again here Soma is "body," pneuma in Greek means "spirit," and ikon is "image."

This is precisely what the Bodhisattva who enters into the Direct Path is trying to achieve: the union of the Soma Psuchikon with the Soma Pneumatikon. This is explained by the Apostle Paul (who was and is the Master Hilarion); he explains in synthesis in Corinthians 15 about this mystery, which is an alchemical and kabbalistic transformation that the initiate has to perform in him or herself.

“When receiving the teachings, it is important to have the correct attitude. It is not practicing the Dharma properly to listen with the intention of gaining material advantage or reputation. Neither should our goal be higher rebirth in the next life, nor should we be wishing only for our own liberation from samsara. These are all attitudes we should reject. Instead, let us listen to the teachings with the determined wish to attain the state of omniscience for the sake of all beings.”
― Dalai Lama XIV - For the Benefit of All Beings: A Commentary on the Way of the Bodhisattva

In studying the paramitas (which is the Sanskrit word for perfections), it is good for us to really understand what a paramita is, and what the term means. Oftentimes, the type of mind that we have hears this word "perfection" and considers it to be something unreachable.

Of course, the path of the Bodhisattva is defined by the six primary perfections, or paramitas. But these paramitas should not be understood as "plateaus," as six levels of achievement; they do relate to Bodhisattva levels, or bhumis, which are degrees of attainment, but they do not indicate to us that we have to perfect each quality in order to advance to the next one. They do build one upon another: but the "perfection" of the first is not required in order to develop the second, and so on.

In fact, these six qualities, or paramitas, are all interrelated and interdependent. Truly, they are just different facets of Bodhichitta; they are just different aspects of a quality of mind, a quality of consciousness. It is probably more useful, more understandable, if we think of paramita - instead of relating it to the usual translation of "perfection" - we think of it instead as an "attitude."

"Few of us are satisfied with retreating from the world and just working on ourselves. We want our training to manifest and to be of benefit. The bodhisattva-warrior, therefore, makes a vow to wake up not just for himself but for the welfare of all beings."
― Pema Chodron

"If fishermen, hunters, and farmers, thinking merely of their own livelihood, endure the sufferings of heat and cold, why am I not patient for the sake of the world's joy?"
― Shantideva - Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life 4.40

If we read in Santideva's Bodhicharyavatara, he says:

"What is joyful perseverance [this paramita]? It is zestful vigor for being constructive. Its opposing factors are explained as lethargy-clinging to what is negative or petty-and being discouraged, or disparaging oneself."

The Biblical Transfiguration or Metamorphosis is related with the Sephirah Hod (Glory) that relates to the development of the Bodhichitta.

When we address the Christian Gospels, we always address the Tree of Life, which is Kabbalah, which is a tool in order to comprehend not only the Gospels, but the whole Bible, because Christian scriptures are rooted in Kabbalah. So, the lower Sephiroth of the Tree of Life, which we call “the inferior Quaternary” are related with the Four Gospels. We already talked about Malkuth beginning with Luke, Yesod related with Matthew; now we are entering into Hod related with the Gospel of Mark, which is called the Gospel of Fire, symbolized by a lion.

When we talk about fire, we have to bring into memory the exorcism of fire, the way in which we invoke the Genii of Fire in order to assist us in the comprehension of the light. Remember that the Gospel of Mark starts like this: “The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Son of God.” The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is in Hod, which is the Gospel of Fire.

In esotericism, when we invoke the Genii of Fire, we pronounce the names of three Genii, which are Michael, Samael, and Anael.

We state:

“Michael, Genie of the Sun and lightning; Samael, king of volcanoes and earthquakes; Anael, prince of the Astral Light! Assist us in the name of the Christ, by the power of the Christ, in the Majesty of Christ!"

“Reflect upon the wonderful enlightened qualities of the buddhas, particularly those of the historical Buddha. We all know that Shakyamuni Buddha was not a fully enlightened being right from the start. Initially, he was just like us — an ordinary being struggling on the path, with the natural weaknesses and limitations that we all have. What distinguishes the Buddha from us, however, is that he took the practice of bodhicitta to heart. He then embarked upon the path and, as a result of his efforts, eventually attained the fully enlightened state.”

"Remember the word bodhichitta, because Atisha says the whole effort of religion, the whole science of religion, is nothing but an endeavor to create bodhichitta, buddha-consciousness: a mind which functions as a no-mind, a mind which dreams no more, thinks no more, a mind which is just awareness, pure awareness."
― Rajneesh

To continue with our examination of the Path of the Bodhisattva, it is good for us to refresh our understanding of what a Bodhisattva is. The term is Sanskrit. Bodhi means "awakened," "awakening" or "wisdom." Sattva is "the essence of" or "a vehicle for."

So in synthesis we say that a Bodhisattva is "a vehicle of wisdom," or "the essence of wisdom." When we relate these teachings to the Tree of Life (also known as the Kabbalah) we know that wisdom in Hebrew is "Chokmah" (which is the second sphere on the Tree of Life). And so a Bodhisattva, properly speaking, is a vehicle of that light.

A vehicle is a kind of technology, or a mechanism, a means to transmit something, to transport, to carry. The Bodhisattva ideal is expressed in the selfless intention to carry beings to liberation, to be a vehicle for the wisdom, the Bodhi, which liberates the consciousness from suffering. As such, the Bodhisattva is merely an intercessor.

This becomes particularly vibrant the more you comprehend the true nature of our inner self. In Gnosis, we always study the teachings from the point of view of the Absolute: the Emptiness (the Ain, the Ain Soph, the Ain Soph Aur), the vast Absolute Abstract Space, which is an eternal Nothingness, but is Something.

It is Uncreated Light. In its very essence it is the nature of self, but it is not self. It is the essence of Being, but it is not Being. When a Bodhisattva becomes perfected, the Bodhisattva becomes a vehicle of That.

"The most sacred part of the human body is the brain and spinal system, revered from all antiquity and symbolized again and again in all the religions of the world. While other parts of the body are of great interest to the student, the mysterious working of the spinal fires by means of which liberation is finally attained is so tremendous that many years must be spent in understanding even the fundamental principles. The spine is the rod which budded, the Yggdrasil Tree, the flaming sword, the staff of comfort, the wand of the Magi. Thus, man is heaven, earth, and hell in one, and his salvation is a much more personal problem than he realizes. Realizing that the human body is a mass of psychic centers and that during life the form is crisscrossed with endless currents of energy, that all through the form are sunbursts of electric force and magnetic power, man can be seen by those who know how to see as a solar system of scars and planets, suns and moons, with comets in irregular orbits circling through them. As the Milky Way is supposed to be a gigantic cosmic embryo, so man is himself a galaxy. Every man has his own world. He dwells in the midst of his little universe as the lord and ruler of the constituent parts of himself. Sometimes he is a wise king, devoting his life to the needs of his subjects, but more often he is a tyrant, imposing many forms of injustice upon his vassals, either through ignorance of their needs or thoughtlessness concerning the ultimate disaster that he is bringing upon himself. Man's body is a living temple and he is a high priest, placed there to keep the House of the Lord in order."
― Manly P. Hall - Melchizedek and the Mystery of Fire

The pineal gland, a small endocrine gland located in the brain, has been referred to as the "third eye" in various spiritual and metaphysical traditions for centuries. This term is often used metaphorically to describe the pineal gland as a spiritual or psychic centre, believed to be the source of enlightenment and a connection to higher states of consciousness.

The pineal gland is a small endocrine gland that produces the hormone melatonin, which helps regulate the body's sleep-wake cycle. It also produces and releases small amounts of other hormones and neurotransmitters, such as serotonin and dopamine, which have a number of important functions in the body.

In some spiritual and metaphysical traditions, the pineal gland is believed to be a "bridge" between the physical and spiritual worlds, and is often associated with psychic abilities, intuition, and spiritual enlightenment.

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is a clear, watery liquid that surrounds and cushions the brain and spinal cord. It is produced and maintained by the choroid plexus, a network of small blood vessels found within the brain.

Sacred Secretion Oil is a term used to describe an endogenous essence produced in the human body, influenced by shifts in the magnetic lunar energies.

It is also known as Christ Within, Heaven On Earth, Christ Oil, Raisi and other names. The Sacred Secretion is a rich fluid that ascends and descends along the central nervous system, bathing the Pineal Gland and connecting our physical being to the non-physical plane.

The pituitary gland is a small, pea-sized gland located at the base of the brain. It is an important part of the endocrine system, which is the system of glands and hormones that helps regulate many of the body's functions.

The pituitary gland produces several hormones that regulate various functions in the body, including growth, metabolism, and the function of other endocrine glands. It also plays a role in regulating blood pressure, water balance, and body temperature.

The pituitary gland has two main parts: the anterior pituitary (also known as the adeno-hypophysis) and the posterior pituitary (also known as the neuro-hypophysis). The anterior pituitary produces hormones that control growth, metabolism, and the function of other endocrine glands, such as the thyroid gland and the adrenal gland. The posterior pituitary produces hormones that regulate the body's water balance and blood pressure.

The story of Jacob's ladder is found in the Hebrew Bible, in the book of Genesis. According to the story, Jacob was a patriarch of the Israelites and the grandson of Abraham. One night, while he was on a journey, Jacob had a dream in which he saw a ladder that stretched from earth to heaven. The ladder was guarded by angels, who were ascending and descending on it. At the top of the ladder, Jacob saw God, who spoke to him and made a promise to protect and bless him and his descendants.

The story of Jacob's ladder is often interpreted as a metaphor for the connection between God and humanity, with the ladder representing the path that allows people to reach out to God and receive His blessings.

This is counted from within to without; you know this. The Divine Mother Kundalini works in the Four - and - twentieth Mystery, weaving on Her own loom.”
― Samael Aun Weor - The Pistis Sophia

Let us go deeper in this kabbalistic explanation. Remember that the woman and the man have three brains: the intellectual brain, the emotional brain, and the motor-instinctual-sexual brain. These three brains have to be in the apostle, meaning, they have to apply with the number 12, which is the apostle.

If you add together the numbers of 12, 1 + 2 = 3. The apostle has to have his or her spouse. As I said, 12 + 12 = 24.

When the spouses unite sexually, they work with the Divine Mother Kundalini, the Weaver. Who is the Weaver? She is the one that builds the Solar Bodies in the loom of God. What is the loom of God? It is the spinal medulla.

So, the Divine Mother, in the spinal medulla of husband and wife, works profoundly in the four - and - twentieth mystery, weaving on her loom, building what She has to build, when we work in Alchemy.

Behold here, why the birth of Christ is celebrated on the 24th of December, at midnight.

When the 25th of December comes, it is because the Kundalini, the fire of the Holy Spirit, has been awakened. That is the very beginning of our alchemical work, kabbalistically explained.

We are going to explain another kabbalistic and alchemical mystery, which is related with the book of Genesis:

בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ

והארץ היתה תהו ובהו וחשך על פני תהום ורוח אלהים מרחפת על פני המים

This is translated as:

“In the Beginning, Elohim created the heaven and the earth, and the earth was formless and void, and darkness was upon the face of the Abyss, but the spirit of Elohim was hovering above the face of the waters.”

"It is the year 458 BCE, and Aeschylus presents The Suppliants at the theatre of Dionysus in Athens. The plot of this tragedy brings a chorus of the daughters of Danaus to Argos, fleeing from a forced marriage to their Egyptian cousins, and Aeschylus places Egyptian words in the Greek speech of the actors. The Athenian audience had some knowledge of their southern neighbor. Not only had Herodotus and others described the marvels and rarities of the Land of the Nile, but there were also Egyptian born residents in Athens working at the harbor and the markets. Sofia Torallas Tovar joins us for a lecture that invites you to hear the ancient Egyptian voices in Athens, by exploring The Suppliants and other sources that attest to the linguistic contact between Greece and Egypt before Alexander’s conquest.

The OI welcomes Sofia Torallas Tovar, Professor of Classics and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, University of Chicago, for this Members Lecture."

Today, we are going to explain the Bodhichitta in accordance with the Christian Gospels, according to the Bible, as gnostically, we always state, Buddhism and Christianity complement each other.

In order to profoundly delve into the Bodhichitta in relation with Christianity, we have to go into Kabbalah, since Kabbalah is the root, the source of Christianity. So, we have to address the Hebrew language, which is the language that Kabbalistically explains the Old and New Testament.

Since Jesus and his first disciples were Jews, Rabbis or Masters Kabbalists, they delivered the Christic doctrine in the kabbalistic way; although in order to explain Buddhism we often utilize Sanskrit and other ancient languages.

Thus, when arriving at the source of Bodhichitta, Kabbalistically we arrive at the Sephira Yesod, this, in order to explain the Buddhist doctrine.

In this lecture, we are continuing or extending the explanation that we gave in relation to Malkuth of the Epiphany of Christ (which is the manifestation of Avalokiteshvara, the manifestation of Wisdom, or what in Kabbalah is called Chokmah), the manifestation of that force which is Christ in the Bodhisattva; yet, in order for this Bodhi to enter into the Sattva, as we previously stated, we have to build the Bodhichitta, which is a Buddhist term.

BODHI: in synthesis, is wisdom.

CHITTA: is mind. In other terms, we will say NOUS - that mind which is abstract, and that is related to Chokmah.

Remember that the great Kabbalist Paul of Tarsis states in the Gospels:

"My speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Howbeit we speak wisdom (Chokmah) among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the occult wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory (Hod): Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory (Hod).

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit (Christ): for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is (incarnated) in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit (Christ) of God.

Now we (Bodhisattvas) have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit (Christ) which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually (Kabbalistically) discerned.

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord (the Bodhichitta), that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (the Bodhichitta)". ― 1 Corinthians 2: 4-16

The teachings that we will be discussing in this course are very ancient and find their roots in times that are long forgotten by this humanity.

The term "Bodhisattva" is a Sanskrit word, which describes a certain kind of person, or a certain kind of psychology, which is far more ancient than even the Sanskrit language. So when we enter into the reception of this kind of teaching, it is good for us to keep in mind that the principles, the psychology, and the science that we are discussing is far more ancient than the terms, the words, and the traditions that we have in these days.

In this series of lectures, you will encounter a wide variety of terms, concepts, and ways of looking at things that you could relate to traditions we know in these days, such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, the Hebrew tradition, and the Aztec tradition. But the fundamental root of this science, this wisdom, is far older than any of those traditions. It is a form of wisdom that is eternal, it is universal, and has always been present as long as humanity has been present; as long as there has been existence, there has been this science.

We call this teaching “Gnosis,” but it also has other names; in the East, it is called Dharma. Dharma has many meanings (it is a Sanskrit word), it means "truth," it means "law," it also has a strong reference to "action" - not just theory, but something that is active, something that performs an action and derives a consequence. The word Gnosis is Greek and is normally, in these times, translated simply as "knowledge." But the word Gnosis actually refers to active knowledge, like Dharma, or knowledge from experience, not just knowledge in the intellect; Gnosis is the knowledge that one knows because of experience, because of direct perception.

You may know this word "diagnosis," a word used in medicine; to “diagnose a patient” is how a doctor will observe or analyse - with his perception - a patient, in order to arrive at some analysis, some conclusion of the illness or condition. Gnosis is the same: "dia-gnosis." Gnosis is in that word because Gnosis is a “perceptive science,” it is a science of perception. What that means is that it is a science of consciousness, because it is consciousness that allows us to perceive.

Gnosis is not a science that is limited to the intellect. Dharma is not limited merely to the intellect. Dharma, or Gnosis, or Jnana (in Sanskrit), is a science to awaken consciousness, to utilize consciousness, and to develop it to its fullest potential. Therefore, I invite you to use your consciousness when you receive this wisdom.

Epiphania is the manifestation of the divine essence of Christ within the human being, or the ascension of the christic solar energy through the spinal column of the initiate, as represented by the Magi.

"Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came μάγος magos from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. Then Herod, when he had privily called the μάγος magos, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Μαρία Maria his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him." ― Matthew 2

Epiphania talks about the way in which the human being manifests the only begotten Light—from the unknowable abstract space—which in the Greek language is called Christ (Χριστός).

The Cosmic Drama—that is, the Birth, Life, Crucifixion, Death, Resurrection and Ascension of the Cosmic Christ, which is always performed in every single cosmic unit (planet) in the universe—has to be repeated in each one of us, in order for us to attain the level of the Solar Man or True Human Being. The Gospels were written so that the initiates can understand and comprehend the steps.

Despite the fact that the initiates, the Gnostics, wrote many esoteric, cryptic books in many religions of the past, the Cosmic Drama representing the assimilation of that Solar Christic Force within the human organism—within the mind, soul and spirit of the human being—was never described in detail.

This is why the great initiates, the Gnostics, wrote many Gospels in order to explain the process, or the procedures for this Christification, but in the Council of Nicene they chose only four from the Gospels, due to the fact that each Gospel of the New Testament explains the process in the Physical Body, the Vital Body, the Astral Body and the Mental Body, which are those bodies related with the inferior matter.

Christ said: “From one thousand that are looking for me, one finds me; from one thousand that find me, one follows me; from one thousand that follow me, one is mine.”

Krishna said: “Among a thousand men, maybe one will exert in order to attain perfection, and among the thousands that strive towards perfection, maybe one will truly know me.”

"It would be worthless for the Christ to be born one thousand times in Bethlehem if he is not born in our hearts as well. We have to form Christ within ourselves in order to enter through the doors into the triumphant and victorious city on Palm Sunday. Christmas is a cosmic event that must be performed in each one of us. The Nativity (Christmas) is absolutely individual. It is necessary for the Christ to be born in each one of us."
― Samael Aun Weor - Tarot and Kabbalah (1978)

It is important for all of us to visualize, to understand, to comprehend, what Christ is, because there are a lot of mistaken interpretations and assumptions of what Christ is, and also the Nativity, which in this day and age is called Christmas.

The word Christmas comes from the word Christ, whose root is in the Greek language. Christ in Greek is written with the letter chi, which has the form of an X, called kchi, so, when you write Christ in Greek, the “Ch” has the form of an X, which relates to another hieroglyphic with which Christ is very often represented: when you place a P on the X.

But really, the letter, which in Latin is P, is the letter R or Rho in Greek. So, when you write X and Rho, you are symbolically pointing at the activity of Rho or Ra, the fire, because the R is a symbol of the fire in activity. Ra is related with the Solar Force among the Egyptian hieroglyphics or Egyptian myths. Amon-Ra, or the God Ra, is the Solar Light.

So these letters X and R (Greek) or X and P (Latin) are a very ancient symbol of Christ, that fire. In Gnosticism we always emphasize that Christ is fire. That is rooted in the Greek word. The Greek word Kristos means anointed, an adjective of “Khriein,” to anoint.

Also from this X, or Greek letter chi, comes the word ictus (Greek: ἰχθύς, ΙΧΘΥΣ or ΙΧΘΥC) which means fish, which is an ancient symbol of Christianity.

Sahasrara (Sanskrit: सहस्रार, Sahasrāra, English: "thousand-petalled", with many alternative names and spellings) or the crown chakra is considered the seventh primary chakra in some yoga traditions.

"And unto the angel of the church of Laodicea write..."

Which means:

"And unto the angel (or the Atomic Intelligent part of your Being) of (the cosmic forces congregated in the Chakra Sahasrara – Polyvoyant Center, which gives the ability to intuitively perceive with images and instantaneously know about their external and internal nature and thus spiritually transport ourselves to the place which we are clearly perceiving; this power of ubiquitousness, meaning, to be spiritually everywhere at once, is achieved through the experience of Samadhi, which develops the ability to project the Soul and Spirit through the pineal gland which is connected to that which is in your spinal medulla) the church of the Laodicea write (withdraw, by means of “Aleph” - the breath of God - from within the waters of “Mem” your Messiah, the Fohat of “Nun” who is the "heir to the throne of God” - the Cerebrum-Spinal-Nervous System – so that this Fohat of “Nun” your Savior can rise from the waters of “Mem” and receive the anointment of the heavens of “Aleph” by the Father in the form of a white dove, which is the atom of the Holy Ghost in your Pineal Gland)..."

Sahasrara chakra, which is the topmost, is not actually a chakra. It is said that Sahasrara chakra is the abode of Purusha or Shiva or consciousness.

Symbolically, it is known as a chakra of 1,000 or more petals, but we try to understand this in a different way. The whole of the brain is the area, which is Sahasrara chakra, yet the main centre is the gland in the brain which is known as pituitary body.

This gland is the centre that is the actual chakra, otherwise the brain is the whole area which is known as Sahasrara. The lotus leaves, which are supposed to be the symbols of Sahasrara chakra, cover the entire region of Sahasrara.

Each and every chakra is directly connected with Sahasrara. By using the term chakra, it is meant to describe this point as the centre or plexus; by area, it is meant the great area which it controls.

Sahasrara chakra is the pituitary body and Sahasrara area is the whole of the brain and each and every chakra is directly connected with the brain (or the Sahasrara area).

It is in this Sahasrara chakra that all the sounds, all the ‘devas,’ all the qualities and all the faculties are lying dormant.

In order to open the thousands of petals of this great lotus, the meditation that is done on is very simple; it does not take a lot of time and is one of the easiest meditations. But remember that meditation itself on Sahasrara does not give you the desired result.

The awakening of Sahasrara depends on the awakening of the other chakras. If all of the chakras are awakened, then the whole brain or the whole Sahasrara chakra is awake. If only one particular chakra is awake, and the others are not, then only one particular area of Sahasrara will be awake and its faculty can be seen manifesting in our life.

By certain practices, such as sirshasana, sarvangasana and vipareeti karani, you can influence to a very great extent the brain and Sahasrara chakra.

There are also the practices of pranayama which do help in the awakening of the shakti or in the awakening of the pituitary body. It is also said in some texts that siddhasana plays a very important part in the awakening of Sahasrara.

We have come to realize one important point in this: that the secret is at the top, but the key lies with each and every chakra and that the reservoir of energy which is at the top in Sahasrara.

In saying this, we do not claim that the final aim is awakening the Sahasrara chakra, yet when the consciousness resides in Sahasrara, it is something like ‘samadhi’ (known as Laya Samadhi).

We call it Laya Samadhi or Laya Yoga Samadhi; this is referring to when the dissolution of the normal consciousness takes place, and the yogi remains in a higher state of bliss and higher state of communion with his own self.

"The chakra Sahasrara is the Crown of Saints. It is the abode of Lord Shiva and corresponds to the pineal gland. The Crown of Saints is attained when Devi Kundalini reaches this chakra. The Crown of Saints has twelve stars. These twelve stars are twelve faculties in the true human being. Twenty-four angelic atoms exist in the brain; these atoms represent the twenty-four Elders of the Zodiac. The twenty-four atomic Elders of our brain ardently shine when Devi Kundalini opens the marvelous chakra. This center has a thousand petals. This is the church of Laodicea."

Ajna or Brow or third eye chakra, (Sanskrit: आज्ञा) Literally "authority" or "command" (or "perceive") is the sixth primary chakra in the body according to Hindu tradition and signifies the unconscious mind, the direct link to Brahman (ultimate reality).

The third eye is said to connect people to their intuition, give them the ability to communicate with the world, or help them receive messages from the past and the future. The sixth primary chakra that is connected to the pituitary gland of the physical body. It is recognized in the astral body as a lotus with two petals. A developed Ajna Chakra enables clairvoyance. Also called the agni or agniya (fiery) chakra.

"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth..."

Which means:

"And to the angel (or Atomic Intelligent part of your Being) of (the cosmic forces congregated in the Chakra Ajna – Clairvoyant Center, which has the ability to perceive the radiant waves of light of the quanta whose momentum within the internal dimensions escapes the capacity of the eyes of the flesh, but clearly captured by the pituitary gland which is connected to that which in your spinal medulla is) the church in Philadelphia (that is related with the frontal plexus at the height of the forehead, where, Elohim with his Akasic breath blows the Prana of Life into your nostrils) write (reinforce with the Prana of life that descends from above, from the heavens of Urania through the two witnesses Ida and Pingala - by means of your willpower and imagination and by the willpower of the Cosmic Hierarchies - the Fohat of your solar and lunar atoms of your seminal system, and thus enliven and sublimate with Pranayama the Christic Energy throughout your spinal medulla); These things says he (the Christic Fire in the Sushumna Canal) that is (the) holy (Spirit), he (your Innermost) that is true (Fire), he (the Fire) that has the key of David (the Great Arcanum), he (the Fire) that opens (this chakra so that your Innermost can see and understand the mysteries of Daath), and no man (through hypnotism can) shuts (this understanding); and shuts (this chakra in the calumniators so that the Intelligence of the Elohim cannot be seen or comprehended by their Pharisaism), and (thus) no (Pharisee) man opens (this eye of Horus)..."

This chakra is popularly known as the ‘third-eye’. The word ajna means command.

It is through this centre that the disciple in deeper states of mediation receives commands and guidance from the guru.

It is symbolized by a silvery grey lotus with two petals and is located at the top of the spine directly behind the eyebrow centre.

The petals represent the positive and negative energies which converge at this centre. The psychological state of intuition is associated with this Chakra.

This Chakra is a very well-known centre, which is used for concentration in many systems of meditation. Usually, the point used for this purpose is the eyebrow centre, though actually the real seat of ajna is within the brain.

Its corresponding physical part of the body is the pineal gland.

It is the famous eye of intuition and by stimulating Ajna Chakra one may increase all the faculties of the mind: intelligence, memory, will power and concentration.

The Bija Mantra for Ajna Chakra is Om and the sounds of the two petals are Ham and Sham or Ha and Tha.

This chakra is found connected to its marvelous center located between the eyebrows. The Master who directs this center is Paramashiva.

The mantra that makes this chakra vibrate is Om:

Oooooooommmmmmmmm.

"This chakra has two petals. This marvelous chakra has a very pure white color. The cavernous plexus is the one that corresponds to this chakra."

Vishuddha (Sanskrit: विशुद्ध, "especially pure"), is the fifth primary chakra, located at the throat.

“Whosoever learns to meditate on this chakra can know the highest esoteric knowledge of all the sacred books…”
― Kundalini Yoga

"And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead."

Which means:

And unto the angel (or Atomic Intelligent part of your Being) of (the cosmic forces congregated in the Chakra Vishuddha – Clairaudient Center, which has the ability to apprehend the word of God and to comprehend the wisdom hidden within it - which in your spinal medulla is) the church in Sardis (that is related with the laryngeal plexus at the height of the throat, where, God creates with the power of the word) write (send the divine emanations of the sacred words or mantras, praying, conjurations and invocations that harmoniously vibrate with the Akasa Tatwa to all and each of the inner divine parts of your living God); These things says he (the Logos) that has the seven (esoteric vowels IEOUAMS that are sounds that in your plexuses vibrate with the seven) Spirits of God, and (who in Daath are the seven mighty Logoic rays of) the seven stars (Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn); I know your (hearing ability to perceive the spiritual wisdom of the word of God and to distinguish good from evil) works (because of your godly discernment), that you have the name (of your Inner God and) that you live (in Him as Tiphereth, the heavenly man) and (yet, as a terrestrial man) are dead (because your Inner God is not yet incarnated within your body of flesh and bones).

"Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God."

Which means:

Be watchful (so that you can hear and comprehend the word of your Inner God), and strengthen (your will by comprehending) the (egotistical) things which remain (in your animal depths), that are ready to die (by the Akasic Fohat of Mother Kundalini): for I (the Word made flesh) have not found (the knowledge of) your works (of comprehension) perfect before (the uprightness of your Inner) God.

This chakra is the centre of purification. It is here that yogis experience the sweet divine nectar known as amrita.

It is depicted by a violet or purple lotus with sixteen petals located in the spinal region around the base of the throat. Its element is that of ether and it corresponds to the pharyngeal and laryngeal plexus.

Vishuddhi Chakra influences the vocal chords, and the region of the larynx, thyroid and parathyroid glands. Disorders in this area of the physical body can be remedied by concentrating on this centre.

One may meditate on Vishuddhi Chakra by trying to feel that the cold, sweet drops of nectar are falling down into it and giving a feeling of blissful intoxication.

The psychological state associated with Vishuddhi Chakra is communication, both the subtle and gross.

The Bija Mantra for Vishuddhi is Ham and the sixteen petal sounds are the sixteen vowels of the Sanskrit alphabet, A, Aa, I, Ii, U, Uu, E, AI, O, OU, Ang, Aha, Rrir, Rrirr, Lrir, Lrirr.

"The chakra Vishuddha of our spinal medulla is situated at the base of our creative larynx. This marvelous chakra is intimately related with the Tattva Akash (Ethereal element). The color of this chakra is of an intense blue. The laryngeal chakra belongs to the Tattva Manas. The divine deity that protects this marvelous chakra is Sadashiva. Anahata (Sanskrit: अनाहत), literally ("unstruck" or "soundless") The fourth primary chakra, related to the heart.

“The ascent of the Kundalini is performed in accordance with the merits of our heart. In order to get the benefit of only one vertebra in the spinal column, the yogi must submit himself to numerous trials and terrible purifications.”
― Kundalini Yoga

"And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; these things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass..."

Which means:

"And unto the angel (or Atomic Intelligent part of your Being) of (the cosmic forces congregated in the Chakra Anahata – Intuitive Center, which has the ability to perceive our Being’s Spiritual Insight in order to direct the activities of our life - which in your spinal medulla is) the church in Thyatira (that is related with the cardiac plexus at the height of the heart, where, by means of Initiation, all thoughts are infused by the Divine Fires of Nous) write (send through Nous the Divine emanations of your Inner God); These things says (the atom Nous) the Son of (your Inner) God, who hath his eyes (spiritual insight) like unto a flame of (Christic) fire (that penetrates everything), and his feet (in the circulatory system) are like (a carrier of) fine brass (or a pure metallic feminine and masculine alloy attained by means of sexual alchemy)..."

Anahata Chakra is the heart centre, being situated in the area of the spine at the level of the heart. Its element is air, and it corresponds to the cardiac plexus.

Anahata literally means ‘unstruck’. It is at this centre that one experiences the primordial sound, that which is the source of all sounds and which issues from beyond this material world.

It is symbolized by a smoky-blue lotus with twelve petals. On the physical level it is linked to the heart and lungs and the circulatory and respiratory systems.

People suffering diseases originating from these systems or organs should concentrate on Anahata Chakra while doing asanas or other yogic practices. Its corresponding psychological state is that of altruism, love and compassion.

The Bija Mantra for Anahata Chakra is Yam with the 12 lotus petal sounds, Ka, Kha, Ga. Gha, Nga, Cha Chha, Ja, Jha, Nya, Ta, Tha.

"This chakra has complete control over the cardiac plexus. Its color is like living fire. Indeed, a jet-black hexagonal space exists inside this marvelous chakra. This chakra is intimately related with the Tattva Vayu. The deity that rules this chakra is Isha, who controls and rules this chakra along with the Devata Kakini. The Bana Linga is found intimately related with the Anahata chakra. The Svayambhu Linga is intimately related with the Muladhara chakra. The Anahata sound, or the Shabda Brahman sound, resounds within this marvelous chakra of the Nadi Sushumna. This marvelous sound is the sound of the Fohat."

Manipura (Sanskrit: मणिपूर) Literally 'city of jewels.' The third primary chakra (bottom to top), located at the solar plexus (near the navel).

“This chakra collects the solar forces and nourishes all the other plexuses with them.”
― Kundalini Yoga

"And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges..."

Which means:

"And unto the angel (or Atomic Intelligent part of your Being) of (the cosmic forces congregated in the chakra Manipura – Telepathic center, receptor of thought - which in your spinal medulla is) the church in Pergamus (that is related with the solar plexus between the navel and the pit of your stomach, where all appetites or desires are created) write (transform the negative and positive emotional and mental impressions through comprehension and willpower); These things says he (the Word of God, the Truth) which has the sharp sword (the knowledge of the word enlivened by Thelema) with two edges (the exoteric and the esoteric meaning)..."

Manipura means the ‘city of jewels’ and is located along the spine directly behind the navel. Its element is fire, and it is depicted as a bright yellow lotus with ten petals.

It corresponds to the solar plexus, which is chiefly concerned with the process of digestion and absorption of food.

Manipura is the subtle centre which controls these activities as well as related glands and organs. It is the centre of vitality in the psychic and physical body.

People who suffer laziness, sluggishness or malfunction of the digestive system should concentrate on Manipura and try to feel the heat and energy radiating from this region. Power is the psychological state corresponding with this chakra.

In Manipura Chakra, the Bija Mantra is Ram, and the 10 petal sounds are Da, Dha, Na, Ta, Tha, Da, Dha, Na, Pa, Pha.

"Manipura is the third chakra of our spinal medulla. This chakra of our spinal medulla resides in the Nabhi Sthana (the navel area). The hepatic and splenic plexuses enter into activity when this chakra awakens. Ten yoga nadis emanate from this chakra. The color of this chakra is like a resplendent fire. The tattva Tejas is intimately related with this marvelous chakra."

Svadhisthana (Sanskrit: स्वाधिष्ठान: Svādhiṣṭhāna, English: "where your being is established." "Swa" means self and "adhishthana" means established), is the second primary chakra according to Hindu Tantrism.

"And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;"

Which means:

"And unto the angel (or Atomic Intelligent part of your Being) of (the cosmic forces congregated in the Chakra Svadhisthana, which in your spinal medulla is) the church in Smyrna (Prostatic-Uterine Creative Center) write (lift up through Immaculate Conception the Son of man as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness); these (alchemical) things says (the Cosmic Christ) the first (Solar Prana) and the last (coagulation of this Pranic energy into a soft, semisolid, semiliquid mass or human semen), which was dead (through its transfiguration or metamorphic descent into the sexual matter), and is alive (in your sexual glands)..."

This chakra is said to be blocked by fear, especially the fear of death.

This chakra is located in the spinal region directly behind the genital organ. It is symbolized by a crimson lotus with six petals and its element is water. It corresponds to the pelvic plexus.

On a deeper level Swadhisthana is the seat of the unconscious mind, the collective unconsciousness, storehouse of all samskaras. It is the centre of the most primitive and deep-rooted instincts in man. Its corresponding psychological state is that of joy.

"I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."

Which means:

"I (the Ruach Elohim that moves upon the surface of your seminal waters) know thy works (of alchemy, because you are the conducting intelligence that gathers from the blood stream the Akasic forces that enter from the vital body into the spleen), and tribulation (when maintaining the power of Kriya Shakti or the creation and multiplication of the human species without fornication), and poverty (in the knowledge of the Gods, the science of Good and Evil - Daath), but you are rich (because you are a particle of me, the Prana) and I know (that you only need to annihilate) the blasphemy of them (the lustful egos) which say they are Jews (Solar Atoms, Atoms of God, the Prana of the Lion of Judah - LEO), and are not (because they ejaculate the seminal liquor in Saturday), but are the synagogue of Satan (because by justifying “procreation” they dissimate, among men and women, doctrines of concupiscence, and become enemies of the Holy Ghost when snatching its atoms of creation for the satisfaction of their lust)."

"Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."

Which means:

"Fear none (of the Karmas) of those (lustful) things which thou shall suffer (because of your lustful past): behold, the devil (or egos related with Karmasaya and Kamaduro) shall cast some of (the parts of your consciousness that are bottled up into those lustful deeds of) you into prison (into those Karmic situations related with the sins against the Holy Ghost), that you may be tried (by Lucifer as was “Saint Job”); and ye shall have tribulation (Karma) ten days (until the complete recurrent lustful cycle is painfully fulfilled): be faithful unto (the) death (of those karmic lustful elements), and I will give you a crown of life (the immortality in Eden by means of the incarnation of Kether, your own individual particular, Ancient of Days)."

"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death."

Which means:

"He that has an (awaken spiritual) ear (Chakra Vishuddha), let him hear what the Spirit (Ruach Elohim that moves upon the surface of the seminal creative waters) says unto the churches (or magnetic centers of the spinal medulla); He that overcomes (collects the totality of his consciousness trapped within his lust) shall not be hurt of the second death (which - after the death of his physical body - is the death or annihilation in the infradimension of nature of his protoplasmic bodies and egos which are only concern with the satisfaction of his sexual animal appetite)."

"He who concentrates at this Chakra and meditates on the Devata has no fear of water. He has perfect control over the water element. He gets many psychic powers, intuitional knowledge and a perfect control over his senses. He has full knowledge of the astral entities. Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Mada, Matsarya and other impure qualities are completely annihilated. The Yogi becomes the conqueror of death (Mrityunjaya)."

Muladhara (Sanskrit: मूलाधार). Literally "root and basis of Existence." The root chakra is one of the seven primary chakras according to Hindu tantrism, “root support” The root chakra is located near the base of the spine.

“The root of good and evil is found in the church of Ephesus.”
― Kundalini Yoga

"Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks..."

Which means:

"Unto the angel (or Atomic Intelligent part of your Being) of (the cosmic forces congregated in the chakra Muladhara, which in your spinal medulla is) the church of Ephesus (where the Ephesian Artemis Queen of the positive Magic of the Moon [Jehovah] dwells; because Epeshu means "to enchant" in Babylonian language) write (practice Sexual Magic, so that by virtue of chastity, meaning, by means of Kriya-Shakti - the action of the female or generative principle – your creative fires can awake and rise to join the fires of the Holy Spirit in your pineal gland); These things says (with the voice of the silence) he (the Christ or Cosmic Fire) that holds (all the igneous power of) the seven stars (or Seven Logoi of this Solar System) in his right hand (in just right activity), (a Divine and Creative Fire) who walks (as a Feathered Serpent) in the midst of (your seven spinal medullas or) the seven golden candlesticks (in your seven bodies)..."

The Muladhara is the root centre symbolized by a deep red lotus with four petals. The chakra is positionally the lowest of the chakras being situated just below the base of the spine in the perennial body of the male and at the posterior wall of the cervix in the female body. Muladhara corresponds with the sacro-coccygeal plexus in the physical body. It is the seat or dwelling place of the primal energy, Kundalini Shakti. Kundalini is seen as a serpent in deep sleep coiled around the Swayambhu linga which unravels and travels upward through all the chakras via the Shushumna nadi at the time of spiritual awakening. Its element is earth and its corresponding psychological state in that of security.

Its Bija Mantra is Lam and the sounds associated with the four lotus petals are Vam. Sam, Sham, Shham.

"I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love."

Which means:

"I (the Sacred Fire of the Holy Spirit, that dwells in your sexual organs) know (by means of "Daath", Tantric Knowledge) your works (in the Flaming Forge of Vulcan), and your labor, and your patience (in scientific chastity), and how you cannot bear (the filthy spasm, the abominable orgasm of) them which are evil (fornicators): and you hast tried (the chastity of) them which say they are (Gnostics or) apostles, and are not (because they ejaculate the seminal liquor), and (for that reason) has found them liars (because through the orgasm they become disconnected from the Solar Atoms of the Solar Christ - the way, the truth, and the life): And has borne (the karma of your egos related with Karmasaya and Kamaduro), and has patience (when meditating on these lustful egos), and for my name's sake (or Ruach Elohim, the spermatic fiat that moves upon the surface of your sexual waters) has labored (through sexual transmutation), and has not fainted (has not identified with the corrupted world). Nevertheless I have somewhat against (those lustful egos of) you, because (they are the cause that) you have left your first love (your Divine Goddess Mother Jehovah Eloah)."

"Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works."

Which means:

"Remember therefore (that in your subconsciousness you have the memory) from whence you have fallen (as consciousness, part of your Monad), and repent (renounce fornication and adultery in the 49 levels of your mind) and do the first works (of scientific sexual transmutation)."

"The Muladhara chakra is situated under the Kanda, which is the exact place where the nadis Sushumna, Ida, and Pingala join. This is the fundamental or coccygeal chakra. This chakra nourishes all the other chakras with its sexual energy. The Kundalini is found enclosed within the Muladhara chakra. Four nadis similar to the petals of the lotus flower emanate from this chakra."

As we already know, the precession of the equinoxes is caused by the gradual rotation of the axis of the Earth. This happens in a period of time in which the Earth’s axes passes through one complete cycle around the zodiacal belt.

Our planet takes 72 years to pass through one degree to another in a circle of 360 degrees, that is, a cosmic year around the zodiacal belt.

Thus, it takes 25,920 years to complete one full cycle of 360 degrees. As we already explained, one half of the journey takes 12,960 years and covers the four yugas.

Remember that the central goal of Gnostic Kabbalah is the creation of the perfect human being through sexual Alchemy.

According to the tree of life, the perfect human being is related in seven levels. These seven levels are in Kabbalah named: Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malkuth, the seven lower Sephiroth.

This is the being, about which we said in the previous lecture, that is placed in the Garden of Eden, or Garden of Pleasure or Delight (עדן, Eden) and that the book of Genesis named, Adam-אדם.

We stated that this Adam-אדם, kabbalistically, has the numerical value of 9, which corresponds to the sephirah Yesod (foundation). We stated that in Kabbalah numbers are living entities.

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that Elohim created Adam, in the likeness of Elohim made he him; Male and female (hermaphrodite) created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were (physically) created.

"We need to fill the inexhaustible bag of great possibilities. The inexhaustible bag of great possibilities has the shape of a spiral galaxy."
― Samael Aun Weor

Evolution comes from the word evolve from Latin Evolvere, “to unroll, to unfold, to produce, create, develop, open out, expand (as in vulva).” That is the meaning of the word.

The Bible talks about evolution from the esoteric point of view. We are going to study that point of view in this lecture, in order to comprehend how this law acts in the universe and in ourselves.

Tohu wa-bohu or Tohu va-Vohu (תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ ṯōhū wā-ḇōhū) is a Biblical Hebrew phrase found in the Genesis creation narrative (Genesis 1:2) that describes the condition of the earth ('aretz) immediately before the creation of light in Genesis 1:3.

Numerous interpretations of this phrase are made by various theological sources. The King James Version translation of the phrase is "without form, and void", corresponding to Septuagint ἀόρατος καὶ ἀκατασκεύαστος, "unseen and unformed."

The words tohu and bohu also occur in parallel in Isaiah 34:11, which the King James Version translates with the words "confusion" and "emptiness".

The two Hebrew words are properly segolates, spelled tohuw and bohuw. Hebrew tohuw translates to "wasteness, that which is laid waste, desert; emptiness, vanity; nothing."

Tohuw is frequently used in the Book of Isaiah in the sense of "vanity", but bohuw occurs nowhere else in the Hebrew Bible (outside of Genesis 1:2, the passage in Isaiah 34:11 mentioned above, and in Jeremiah 4:23, which is a reference to Genesis 1:2), its use alongside tohu being mere paronomasia, and is given the equivalent translation of "emptiness, voidness."

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O הילל Hillel, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, [I will descend and thereafter] I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohim: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; [I will not be as the most High, but] I will be like the most High. Yet [first] thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."
― Isaiah 14: 12-15

Let us talk about these two words, reading in the book of Genesis:

Tohu VeBohu. ( תהו ובהו )

This, in Hebrew, is translated as "Formless and Void."

In Kabbalah (קבלה) we often talk about this Tohu VeBohu which is, of course, a level that all of us have when entering into these studies. There is no light inside of us; this is why we feel formless and void.

The book of Genesis states:

"In the Beginning, Elohim created the Heavens and the Earth, and the Earth was Tohu VeBohu, and darkness was upon the face of the deep."
― Genesis 1: 1, 2

When we talk about the Earth, we are talking about our physicality. Our psyche comes from heaven down to earth; this is us, psychosomatically speaking. Heaven, of course, is where we find God.

"By altering the mind to tranquil equipoise, one will reach its intrinsic purity. Through perfect perception of the inherent purity of reality, a Bodhisattva practices in great compassion for all beings."
― Dharmasamgiti-sutra

The way you unlock the key of the mind, that tight knot of your karma, is through understanding it.

This is why the Buddha said:

"If you want to untie a knot, you have to first understand how it was tied."

To continue our discussion of meditation, first we remind you that the purpose of meditation is to comprehend, to understand, to receive wisdom. In other words, we meditate in order to acquire information.

This concept or understanding may be new to you because many traditions that discuss or teach meditation in the west do not necessarily present the science of meditation in this way.

They may say that meditation is to reach enlightenment, or to acquire powers, but in the Gnostic tradition we go directly to the point, the purpose or reason for meditation, and we call it Comprehension.

"Tranquillity maybe realized rapidly provided one does not concern oneself with gain and similar desires, abides perfectly by the moral law, is capable of joyfully enduring suffering and the like, and makes serious effort."

As we have outlined for you in the previous lectures, meditation is an exact science that is founded on a very strict logic. In other words, to learn how to meditate requires that you understand the science, the steps, and the practical aspects. Meditation is not a process of beliefs or assumptions. It is something very exact.

To learn how to meditate you have to study and you have to practice. Most of all, you need to develop the ability and the capacity to question yourself, question your process, and analyze your procedures. This is the most effective way to make quick progress in your practice of meditation.

The most important concept that has to become a practical reality in yourself in order to meditate successfully is to understand what your consciousness is, to know, recognize, and work with your own consciousness. If this escapes you, and you are not clear about this practically in yourself, meditation will always be elusive. It will be something you do not understand. Meditation itself is a function of consciousness. It is to work with consciousness.

We all use this word “consciousness,” we discuss it, we debate about it, but the theory or the intellectual idea is meaningless if we do not have a practical grasp in our daily, moment to moment life of what our consciousness is and how it functions.

‘Thus quote the raven KooaKoo’…

This is a remixed demo of another Involuntary Van-Life song written in the fall of 2020. A Raven woke me up in the mornings with this melody lyric. It turned into this song.
At the end of the video is my new Iron Throne! The first one I made now holds the 5-gallon water jug and the medical chairs I used in the worst part of my injuries are thrashed! So I found an old iron corpse out in the boneyard where I’m staying and it’s fit for life now. The wood is from pallets I took apart.

"Right now, only this internal struggle with the afflictions is important. If you do not struggle with the afflictions, you will not achieve a pure ethical discipline, in which case, you will not attain the concentration and wisdom that, respectively, suppress and uproot the afflictions. Hence, as the Buddha said, you will have to wander continually through cyclic existence. Therefore, as I explained before, once you have identified the afflictions, reflected on their faults and on the benefits of separating from them, and planted the spies of mindfulness and vigilance, you must repeatedly fend off whatever affliction raises its head. Further, you must see any affliction as an enemy and attack it as soon as it arises in your mind. Otherwise, if you acquiesce when it first appears, and then nurture it with improper thoughts, you will have no way to defeat it, and it will conquer you in the end."
― Neu-sur-ba

The training of real meditation is very long and requires a great deal of study and practical experience. In order to understand what meditation truly is, it is not something that you can acquire by attending a meditation class once a week. By only reading a few books, websites, or watching videos, you will never, ever understand meditation.

The experience of real meditation is something that emerges in your consciousness once the proper conditions have been established inside of you. That is a result of action. So in these recent lectures we have been discussing what those conditions are, and how to establish them.

You may have attended other meditation lectures, retreats, and classes, and encountered the common approach to meditation, perhaps regarding technical aspects such as a proper posture, preliminary concentration practices, and the use of mantra. All of these are important, but really, they are a step that comes after a first step that most people skip.

Traditionally, if you were a student of a lineage such as Zen, Raja Yoga, or Tibetan Buddhism, for example, you would not be introduced to the technical details until you had extensive preliminary training—the very first training—which can extend for quite a long time, and that is training in ethics.

Of course, nowadays—especially North Americans and Europeans who are very intellectual by nature—people think that they understand ethics already, believing that ethics is easy, and that they can skip to the next "more interesting" step. This is one of the main causes for why North Americans and Europeans fail to learn how to meditate.
