In this video I read from the book "Wounded by Love," which contains St. Porphyrios's testimony about how he received his charismatic gifts when he received Divine Grace during a church service where he encountered an Orthodox elder, Old Dimas. I briefly point out some differences between what St. Porphyrios describes and what is common in Charismatic terminology.
Faith without works is dead, and we are saved by believing God AND being faithful to what we believe God said if you translate the word properly. Hell is real, God has shown me it in dreams and visions, and we all need to practice these meditation techniques and subject matters to repent unto DOING what our faith in God means so we build our house on rock not sand and so stand in the judgement.

also, casting crowns makes me think of these verses from Revelation. i heard it explained one time that when these elders bowed to the Lord, their crowns (halos?) feel off at His feet. Revelation 4:10-11: The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Powerful, very uplifting rally protesting the seizure of Grace Life Church near Edmonton, AB by the desperate, tyrannical, sellout, Alberta political regime. Tons of people from all over were pouring in. Parking was restricted so people walked literally miles to get there. No "major" incidents while I was there. The herd of mindless, order following armed government thug cops were subject to a ton of verbal abuse due to their evil actions. They serve Satan. Clearly.
A chain of extemely unlikely events happened that I interpret as a sign or “Signal Grace” that I am on the right path. It is all pointing towards Pentecost.

When we come to God in prayer with our issues, the answer that we receive may not be the one we expected or wanted. There are many dimensions of grace throughout the scriptures, but today grace is the missing message of the church. Grace is an integral part of every single Christian life and it embodies the whole process of salvation. You will find grace throughout Paul’s writings and in his letter to the Galatians he opens with and closes with grace.

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
Romans 4:2-5 is one of those passages, along with James 2:21-24, and Hebrews 11:8-10, which points to Abraham's faith and works through listening to God and forsaking all. The do-nothing preachers on both sides of the holiness debate rarely use these verses because they hate the forsake all teaching more than anything else Jesus taught. Instead they focus on the dead works of religion; rules about not swearing, paying your tithes, getting water baptised, etc. But like Jesus said in the Beattitudes: Abraham hungered and thirsted after righteousness and it was his faith, exemplified by his good works—his willingness to give up everything including his own son, Isaac—was what justified Abraham before God. This is exactly what is missing in the church world today.
