Groundhog Day is a very interesting movie starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell. It was released in 1993. The storyline is that Bill Murray, who plays a weatherman covering groundhog day in the little town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, inexplicably falls into some kind of life-prison-time-trap in which every day he wakes up to repeat the same day. He can act differently each day but the events he experiences are basically the same (or they start off the same). This video clip here is just a short excerpt. In this video clip Bill Murray shows Andie MacDowell, his co-worker, that he knows details about the lives of all the people around them. (The reason why he knows all this is that he has repeated this day many times in the past and he has been able to speak to each of those people and/or find out about them in other ways during previous repetitions of the same day.) He is trying to explain his predicament to her and trying to get her to believe him.
