#growjournal

So, we went ahead and brought Pixie Pie outside to give her her next neem oil treatment to deal with her aphid problem. We are going to leave her out there for a few days until we get the grow room set up a little better, with the other LED lamp in the mix and them all on a timer set on 18/6. Also in a couple days, after the neem oil has had time to do its job, we are going to give her and her soil a good spraying with soapy water (Ajax dish soap). That should also keep the aphids in check.

And when you are done here, feel free to check out my "sponsor", namely me, and all the neat stuff I have up available on my eCrater, Etsy, and eBid stores.

The day after Wonder Dog, Wendy (renamed Marvin), and Bessie were purged, my neighbor gave me a cutting he made from a Bitter Sweet Pie, which apparently almost always comes up female.

So even though I was not planning on starting anything new until November or December, it looks like I am doing a grow journal after all now. This will be my first indoor grow since my first attempt back in 2016 / 2017. Eventually both grow lights that I bough back then on Amazon will get set back up and pur properly on a timer. For now, while waiting for her to root, this new gal, which I am calling Pixie Pie (the plant's name, not the strain of course) will stay on a 24 hour lighting regimen. She is already having aphid issues, which I brought up to the neighbor. He is aware of it and is doing what he can. Meanwhile, Pixie has had one dose of neem oil already, and we are already seeing good results. Once we locate the pack of latex gloves we have around here for handling assorted chemicals, she will get another does. I recknon spraying her down with soapy water (Ajax dish soap) will also help some.

Once the aphids are dealt with, I plan on getting a couple more Ravenplume Wildling 2019 seeds going here as well, and see if I can at least get an indoor post season grow germinated and raised to bud over the winter. And with this being notably different growing conditions than the Ravenplume grows outside, I am going to tack on my alternate brand name to this and the upcoming Wildlings, and give them the Willowpaw name instead of Ravenplume. I'll go into that in greater depth when I really really get my NeoCities page really functional and ready to just share even more what I do in an easier to follow format. But I am rambling now.

So, that is it for the opening video for Pixie Pie's grow journal. Sorry about the sound quality. Did not think the ventilation fan in the veg chamber would be so amplified through this camera's mic. Next time, I will shut off the fan before filming.

And as always, feel free to help support my hobbies and habits here by finding cool or otherwise useful stuff to purchase on either of my eCrater stores:
