In 1933, Gareth Jones is an ambitious young journalist who has gained some renown for his interview with Adolf Hitler. Thanks to his connections to Lloyd George, the former British prime minister, he is able to get official permission to travel to the Soviet Union. Jones intends to try to interview Stalin and to find out more about the Soviet Union's economic expansion and its apparently-successful five-year development plan.
Jones is restricted to Moscow but jumps his train and travels unofficially to Ukraine to discover evidence of the Holodomor, including empty villages, starving people, cannibalism and the enforced collection of grain. On his return to Britain, he struggles to get his story taken seriously. The film ends by recording that Jones died while reporting in Inner Mongolia with a guide who was secretly connected the Soviet secret service.
The film speaks to today’s problems and concerns in a very powerful way. Holodomor (derived from морити голодом, moryty holodom, 'to kill by starvation') is а genocide of Ukrainian nation committed in 1932-1933. It was committed by leadership of the Soviet Union in order to suppress Ukrainians obedient and the ultimate elimination of Ukrainian opposition regime including efforts to build an independent from Moscow Ukrainian State. Desperate hunger drove people to sell off all of their possessions for any food they could find.
This horrific artificial famine eliminated 7 million people in the Ukrainian SSR and 3 million of Ukrainians abroad in the regions which were historically populated by Ukrainian: Kuban, the North Caucasus, Lower Volga and Kazakhstan. Some scholars believe that the famine was planned by Joseph Stalin to eliminate a Ukrainian independence movement.
In 2006 by the Law of Ukraine "About the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine" Holodomor was recognized as genocide against Ukrainian people. In 2010, by the resolution of Court of Appeal in Kyiv region was proved the genocidal nature of Holodomor, the intention of Stalin, Molotov, Kaganovich, Postyshev, Chubar, Khatayevych, Kosior to destroy a part of the Ukrainian nation.
We thank Ganna Frontenko of blessed memory who chose to share her story. By sharing her stories Ganna has ensured that the truth of the Holodomor will be forever documented in the history books. I must tell you all how excited I am about the interest I'm getting from all around regarding my concept of Unity Among OUR Content Creators & Their Subscribers... The content creator LenorNoir asked to interview me(scheduled for next week) and that sparked an expansion in my thinking, couldn't interviews be the first step in bringing content creators together? I am small but if we could spread this idea through subscribers pushing this idea to all their favorite channels and if we could get several big name creators to on board, we could see the numbers we need to "Jump Start" this movement and see an International Power to reckon with.
I believe all of us could continue to be in full control of our content and remain individuals but we would have 7 to 10 trusted leaders(content creators) that would take part in a "Centralized Channel" that offers information on who's who politically across the West, moving our subscribers in unity towards common goals & agendas. We could take all the guess work out of our political support but we could do a multitude of things when we put our "support" together. When one of OURS is doxed or cancelled, we could offer support like job opportunities and financial help. We could boycott the enemy in unison making OUR enemies feel the heat and as our numbers grow, their power to harm us would shrink... IT WOULD BE AMAZING!

This is an excellent documentary about the Bolshevik Revolution and the Holodomor (created by Activist News). The Holodomor (Ukrainian: Голодомор, "Extermination by hunger" or "Hunger-extermination"; derived from 'Морити голодом', "Murder by Starvation") refers to a series of purposeful mechanized genocidal famines that took place under the Jewish Bolshevik regime during the periods of 1921-23, 1932-33 and 1946-47. Holodomor is a compound of the Ukrainian words holod meaning "hunger" and mor meaning "plague". The expression moryty holodom means "to inflict death by hunger". Lenin established a Jewish regime that slaughtered well over 66 million ethnic Europeans the Holodomor Genocides alone resulted in a death toll of 16.5 million.
