On June 8, 1967, Israeli forces tried to sink a U.S. Navy ship, the USS Liberty, killing 34 American servicemen and wounding 174. 'Justice for Liberty', filmed at the crew’s 54th anniversary reunion in Pensacola, Florida, allows the survivors to tell the American public their stories, some for the first time. It is time for the truth to come out. Visit the Justice for Liberty website at https://justiceforliberty.org/.

According to former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Thomas Moorer, “In attacking the USS Liberty, Israel committed acts of murder against American servicemen and an act of war against the United States…. Those men were then betrayed and left to die by our own government.”

The survivors are still awaiting justice. The Liberty crew is one of the most decorated in U.S. Naval history. Yet, for decades this attack has been covered up and misrepresented.

Mohammed Salhiya, the owner of the home, said, “I’ve been attacked for 25 years, 25 years I’ve faced pressure to sell the land…I’ve spent 25 years just in the courts with them.”

Mohammed and members of his family refused to leave their home on Monday, even threatening to burn down the house, rather than yield to Israel’s demands to vacate. "We don't want death. But we have been expelled from our homeland again and again. We are already dead. We are dead inside. We have been dead since 1948," he said.

During the first Palestinian "intifada" (uprising), Israeli forces perpetrated a policy of breaking protesters' bones. More information about the this policy is at https://iakn.us/3wqfrGN and https://iakn.us/3k2ziqy. The video is an excerpt from the documentary "Occupation 101 - Voices of the Silenced Majority" - available at https://iakn.us/Occ101 and https://vimeo.com/18333779 (The narrator of the video is American author Alison Weir, founder of the nonprofit organization If Americans Knew.)

Yitzhak Rabin, the initiator of this policy, later became Israeli Prime Minister, and is now known as a 'peacemaker'. Few people are aware of this history, and the fact that during Israel's founding war, Rabin personally ordered that Palestinian inhabitants of Lydda “be expelled quickly without attention to age.” Thousands of refugees, entire families, elderly people, women and children marched about 15 miles eastwards in the height of summer. Dozens, including infants, did not survive the journey, as reported at https://iakn.us/3k3uUXY.
