So race in Latin america... yeah, that's something completely different for me and many Latinos. I'm a #WhiteLatino in my country but seriously, who cares about that? White or whatever, race is not really important. That's not the case for Franchesca Ramsey who REALLY doesn't like that. So much that she made a video about #Hispanics and all that.
She has a problem with race, just like many others. I almost cried when I saw the term #Latinx, which is an insult to my language. I think that "It's Ok to be White" (And latino and hispanic as well) but Franchesca doesn't and needs to grow up. Racism is never okay and people need to stop caring about things like this.
It's not okay to be white according to communists and other leftists. Saying that it is means that you are a white supremacist, even though you probably are not. White people and whiteness are seen as terrible and destructive, despite white people creating the bountiful society we have today.
In Norse culture, the concept of luck, or Hamingja, had nothing to do with our modern understanding of it, as a product of coincidence or chance. We inherited Hamingja from our ancestors, and we could grow or strenghten our Hamingja by performing honourable acts or good deeds. The beauty of seeing luck and honour this way, is that it makes us responsible for our own fate and the fate of our descendants.
"Cattle die, and kinsmen die, and so one dies one's self; one thing I now that never dies, the fame of a dead man's deeds."
