It may seem so strange to know there are still thousands of feudal lords in Pakistan. We are actually talking about a group of people who give themselves the right to make their own set of laws, building a state within a state where they are king and all the peasants are their subjects. So in this edition of The Subcontinent we will be talking about this unpleasant phenomenon in Pakistan. And around a year after the revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, we will look into the ongoing oppression and cruelty in the Indian administered Kashmir.
