These two just arrived today. Mickey needed a decent cleaning, and especially degunkifying the battery compartment. He is ready for his individual demo for when he gets put up for sale. Donald is not going up for sale. First of all, I bought these specifically for Donald.and I think this is a pretty rare piece, or rear piece in this case, as at the time I discovered the Donald version of the Sleepy Sounds Bedside Lights, this one was the only one to be found anywhere on the Internet, which is why I am not bothered by the fact that his speaker came loose during shipping, and now I need to get a soldering gun at last and fix it properly.
That will be the next video. This one was just the initial test, cleaning, and then opening to see what the problem was. So the rest of this project is on hold until further notice. Still, even if I end up not being able to get him to talk, it is still a rare and unusual enough Donald Duck item to have its own prominent display. I wonder why these are so almost nonexistent while the Mickey ones are much more readily available; and even with their retail packaging as well? Guess the world will never know.

Got a rather rare piece from 1991 going up, though not as rare as the Donald Duck version I have incoming (which I am keeping). This is a motion sensing Sleepy Sounds Mickey Mouse bedside light. The motion sensing part is not as sensitive as one would expect, but it may just need cleaned.
