Eight people were shot during a family-friendly MLK day event in Florida on Monday evening, leaving one person critically injured.
Gunfire broke out soon after 5pm triggering a chaotic frenzy that allowed the shooter to escape. They remained on the loose on Monday night and it is not yet known if more than one person fired.
The car show was being hosted in a park in Fort Pierce and was attended by more than 1,000 people of all ages, St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office said. All eight people shot were adults.

American politicians on both the left and the right praise and worship the so called "Reverend" Martin Luther King Jr. Indeed, most people in the US and the world uncritically view him as a great hero and, in fact, the greatest hero ever and perhaps even a god. Consider that no other American besides King has a national holiday, including our first president, George Washington, once known as the father of our country. In light of this hysterical adulation of King, one wonders if people have done any investigating of his legacy beyond repeating his surface platitudes about "equality," "justice," and "colorblindness." In reality, King was a communist who used Jesus and religion to advance his agenda to redistribute wealth in the billions of dollars from whites to blacks, place blacks in positions of political power, not for equality, but to overthrow the "oppressive" capitalist system in a revolutionary manner, and to use racial quotas like affirmative action to give blacks unfair advantages without earning them to atone for "racism" and perceived historical wrongs. In other words, King would fully affirm the "woke" agenda of dismantling what he called "white supremacy" (code language for a prosperous and successful white civilization). These are the realities about Martin Luther King Jr. that so many people ignore. We need to shed that ignorance. If we don't, King's envy-fueled dream of destroying what's left of 60% white America, its Constitutional republic, and its free market economy will continue unabated in the name of black grievance.

High school history teachers, television documentaries and the yearly remembrances of Martin Luther King Jr. are very selective when they quote from him. That's because if people really knew what King was about, they would think twice about uncritically worshiping him as we are told to do. A careful examination of the man will show that 1) He was not a Christian as he did not believe in the virgin birth of Christ, Jesus' substitutionary atonement, His divine Sonship, His bodily resurrection, the Trinity, supernatural salvation, the Bible as God's inerrant and inspired Word, etc., 2) He was fraud as a supposed man of God and pretended moral giant who used his popularity and power to cavort with dozens of women across the country and sometimes in violent orgies while he was a married "minister" with a family 3) He often spoke of non-violence, but violent demonstrations were regular features of his movement, which he justified in interviews, and 4) He used the so-called Civil Rights Movement and the idea of racial equality as a front to advance socialist ideas into America. For example, in one speech, King announced, "Now we are in a period where it will cost the nation billions of dollars to get rid of poverty." King also said, "This this is America’s opportunity to help bridge the gulf between the haves and the have-nots." He further declared, "We must recognize that we can’t solve our problem now until there is a radical redistribution of economic and political power." Anyone familiar with history knows that this terminology comes straight from communist philosopher, Karl Marx. (King nonetheless protested that he got his socialist ideas from Jesus.) In this video, we will see ironclad evidence that Martin Luther King Jr. was a socialist who spoke openly of wealth redistribution and used his communist party connections to help advance his agenda.

Biden to Deliver 'Sermon' on Democracy at MLK Jr.'s Baptist Church. U.S. President Joe Biden will be the first sitting president to deliver a Sunday sermon at Martin Luther King Jr.'s church in Atlanta, as he marks a national holiday celebrating the civil rights leader, White House officials said on Friday.
Biden will speak at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Sunday at the invitation of the church's pastor, Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock, on what would have been King's 94th birthday. King was killed at age 39 in 1968 by an avowed segregationist.
"This is an inflection point in history and the president will deliver remarks reflecting Dr. King's life and legacy and they that way we can go forward together," Keisha Lance Bottoms, former Atlanta mayor and director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, told reporters.
He will speak on a number of issues "including how important it is that we have access to our democracy," she said.
On Monday, Jan. 16, a national holiday to celebrate King, Biden will meet with civil rights advocate Al Sharpton in Washington, and speak to his group, the National Action Network.
Biden was elected in 2020 with strong support from Black voters, after pledging to do more to expand voting rights and address other racial justice issues. But some activist groups boycotted his 2022 speech honoring King, disappointed by his lack of action.
