4) There is a huge difference between living with friends or family until you get on your own feet and having to find your own way. Have a fallback plan.

2) So, why do you want to move?
3) Where do you want to move to? Domestic is very different than international. Language? Rights? Know the laws.
4) Is this a long term (more than 1 year) or a short term move (less than one year)?
5) Are you moving by yourself? Friends? Girl friend? Family? Business? Retirement? Healthcare? School? Etc.
6) What are you taking with you?
7) Are you moving their in whole, financially and physically? Or is this just a physical change of location with your savings remaining?
8) The currencies? Moving up or down? Can you afford to come back at a future date and what financial situation will you be in? Taxes?
9) Have you thought about the cost of living?
10) The live style changes? First, Second, or third world (industrial or technological, or … country?
11) Commitments with this move?
12) Job, friends, entertainment, social activity, food…the logistics?
