Today I brought Cujo across the Stone Bridge on the Huntsville Hwy over to the back of the CVS Pharmacy parking lot where the river flows over the jagged stones of the old original Stone Bridge that had stood until recent years and was here during the Civil War. You can hear the water as well as see the ripples and flow. Cujo killed a baby possum before I could stop him and he chose to sit at that location while I got as close as I dared in my chosen spot.
This one really got me.. God bless them..
I had in previous years watched 9 deer on one side of the river and 11 deer on the other side of which were tame enough around people I could sit close to them. I even walked up upon a fawn one day in August that looked no more than a week old and it sat in a ditch directly behind the Dollar Tree Store. The field there is where they often came to graze. A neighbor told me of one farmer that was poisoning them there while downriver I could hear automatic shotguns going off every day. This year I no longer see them. On down behind the Hampton Inn there are a lot of wild deer, bigger than the others but I cannot get close to them.
I had to spend 5 minutes gathering up my laundry before Cujo and I could walk around a bit. This was on July 3rd and I wanted to get the whole day on video but due to getting caught up in a book I was reading and because of file size and 3 separate breakdowns through the Handbrake app I cut out the book-reading. There is still the allowance to get outdoors and enjoy your life every day without worrying over the fear porn you see on TV daily.
That dog dragged me all over the place before I could finally get him over to the river so that I could relax. The river shrinks in size a lot during Summer but that doesn't deter families from wanting to swim in it. I had to warn several Mexican families of the dangers to their children when swimming towards the middle. Many people have been bashed against the rocks underneath the water there and drowned. It was a good day this day but I am unable to locate the finish of my conversation.

I sensed a malevolent spirit in the trees on the opposite side of the river from this location once when I visited over there and it is definitely there. I do not think it will attack you but I think it could be called upon to do evil things. But on this side of the river everything you can see is so beautiful that you can forget all about the bad spirits and welcome the good.
This is my new dog my little niece gave to me back in January. She told me his name is Jacks like the game. I have been calling him Jack and sometimes I call him Jake but I wonder sometimes what to call him and simply call him "Good Boy" too. He is so happy all the time, sweet, wants to play and he is near impossible to go walking with because he pulls me so hard. The music is the entire album by Luke Combs and the video is unedited, simply run its length so that I could get in the whole album.
I had to walk to the Bank and saw a lot getting there and upon leaving. Of course I had not thought it would be closed but it was. Still I had much to say on the way back home. After I was born everyone said my hands were shaking and having open-heart surgery by age five and a half didn't help but though it has been a life-long condition there is much beauty to the land I want to show.
Cujo dragged me into it. I loved that dog more than anything and miss him all the time. We walked every day through these woods together. When I hurt my lower back last August I had to slow down the days I took him with me but we saw the most beautiful places.

There is so much History around me and though I see what I am able to see by walking to get there the people around me continuously tell me of other places just a mile further down the road. I am sure that if I had some way of transportation I would be showing video of many more places to love and honor the memory of. Although there are hardships we endure every day our lives are a test and it is worth the wait and the keeping of our values because God's Kingdom has even greater rewards.
This is video I recorded while walking around and observing all that I can see and appreciate. The music is titled Sleeps With The Fishes which featured on the Hearts of Space radio program in 1989 performed by Michael Brook & Peter Nooten.
The music is performed by The Shiny Gnomes. I had been amazed to find a big round hole in a tree and I have since found other trees similar to this one but all around me there is so much to love each day.
I had to clamber down a rocky hillside in back of the Dentist's Office off the Thornton Taylor Parkway to get to this spot but the water flows more aggressively here and made for a good place to appreciate the river.
I recorded this on October 20th 2022. Each day I talk with Him and it doesn't matter where I am when I do but these places showing what He gave us bring out the best in me.
I visited Cane Creek today and could hear the whine of a tractor in a field nearby so I took that as a good sign but it wasn't long before a rain began. The leaves from the trees were nice to watch until the rain decided it wasn't going to let up and then I got trapped under the bridge.

Beauty of the land is all around me and getting to these places can be a little difficult especially when you have a dog trying to take you other places.
Over to the Adams Street Bridge area I walked the land to see what I could see and found a nice area where the water flows over a stone bottom.
I have heard that the bridge is called Deardon Bridge. You have to go down the gravel road next to the Army National Guard facility to get there, from Thornton Taylor Parkway highway or you can access at the Tennessee # 1 Store that leads by the Riverview Cemetary. The Firing Range is down this road as well. This is the long recording I made of this day I went there to read a book and enjoy the day.
This is part of The Elk River Valley as the Native Indians called the land here before it was settled. They used it to allow the various warring tribes to hunt game without worry of being attacked provided they got what they needed and left. Since then the land has largely been left the way it was.
