NBC Reporter Goes Into Damage Control After NASCAR Fans Chant "F**K Joe Biden"

We live in a world where the degree of disinformation and outright lying of the corporate media has reached a pinnacle point where average folks are becoming well aware of this malarkey.
The latest example of gaslighting by the corporate press occurred Saturday evening during an NBC News interview with the NASCAR Xfinity Series Race winner at Talladega, Brandon Brown. The reporter distorted offensive chants about President Biden and quickly spun them as chants for Brown.
During the interview, hundreds if not thousands of fans were in the stadium seating section of the raceway while Brown spoke with the reporter. The chants from the crowd increased in loudness and could be heard as "F**k Joe Biden." The reporter, quick on her feet, told Brandon and viewers the chants were "Let's Go Brandon." Here's the video so you can hear for yourself:
The reporter who acknowledged the chanting either genuinely misheard it or twisted reality for viewers at home by saying the chants were for Brandon.
According to RT News, the video went viral and was shared by NASCAR but then deleted without explanation later.
It's hard to tell if the reporter was gaslighting or an honest mistake, but such anti-Biden chants have occurred nationwide over the last month, primarily at football stadiums. For the "most popular president ever" to receive such negative chants speaks to the volume of distrust for the most powerful person in the world.
In recent weeks, new polls by Axios/Ipsos found trust in the president continues to slide. The first real glimpse of Biden's poll slippage was in late July when a Gallup poll found his approval ratings began to turn lower.
Compound the botched exit of Afghanistan, southern border crisis, and soaring food, gas, and rent prices; it is no surprise that the president's ratings continue to tumble and the "F**k Joe Biden" chants grow louder, forcing corporate media into damage control.
All I can say is "LETS GO BRANDON" (sic) . LMAO.

I came across this recording of the full, original NBC tape-delayed broadcast of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony that originally aired on 08/08/2008 at 8/7c in the US. I thought that this would be an interesting piece of history considering the state of US-China relations present day. There are many different aspects including unique camera angles exclusive to this broadcast and how certain parts of the ceremony were cut so that commercials could be run. You'll also get to see many old faces such as Matt Lauer, Bob Costas, and Tom Brokaw.

Please excuse the poor quality! This was ripped from a single-layer DVD (yes, those still exist!), so the video was very compressed to begin with. However, audio quality is excellent.
I hope that this will be an interesting view on the past, and I urge all discussion in the comments.

NBC News Declines To Comment On Its Camera Crew Being Attacked By "Mostly Peaceful" Protesters In DC
If we know anything about the mainstream media, it’s that they default to the descriptor “mostly peaceful” to describe any leftist protest that goes bad and turns violent. It looks like NBC News is doing its best to keep the mostly peaceful narrative alive in Washington, D.C., where President Trump “tear-gassed” mostly peaceful protesters to clear the way for his walk to St. John’s. Daily Caller media reporter Shelby Talcott was in D.C. early this morning (not when people like Elizabeth Warren are strolling along with their husbands and dogs in tow) and caught an NBC News crew being accosted by mostly peaceful protesters. We don’t know if Antifa had anything to do with it, but we do know Antifa is not happy being recorded on video — any video.
NBC News doesn’t seem to want to address it, but maybe it’ll make Brian Stelter’s newsletter. CNN does like to make a big deal of journalists under attack (by the president or his press secretary). Was this a chapter in Jim Acosta’s book about how dangerous it is to be a journalist during the Trump era?

This is an NBC task that is performed after a potential chemical strike. M8 Paper is a way to check for 3 different series of liquid chemical agents. It does not work to detect vapor or gaseous chemical agents. If you have the capabilities you should confirm the findings from the test by M8 paper with another means like an ICAM (Improved Chemical Agent Monitor). If you use M8 paper when checking your water supply and you have a positive detection. Then discard the canteen or container and it's contents in a way that will prevent someone else from using it. If only the container is positive and the contents are still uncontaminated then decontaminate the container without contaminating the water inside.

You should have a set of NBC gear designated for Training Only. This is the MOPP gear you use when practicing your NBC or CBRN defense tasks. You do not use the gear you plan to use in case of an NBC event or attack as your training set. Your "wartime set" needs to stay in it's original packaging to prevent degradation which will compromise it's abilities to protect you from exposure. If the package is opened for anything other than immediate use following an event it has then become a training only item. Do not mix you training only gear with your wartime set. The training set may have developed holes and cuts which make it unsafe for use in an NBC environment. Your protective mask is used for training and survival use, you only need to change the filter and hood (if it has one) for "wartime" use.

While his 2020 competitors were busy trying to entice Democrat voters with their ideas of “free” government benefits, businessman Andrew yang cut right to the chase by offering to give out “free” money to everyone. Friday’s NBC Nightly News seemed to be all for the idea during their admitted Democrat propaganda series “My Big Idea”:
HARRY SMITH: What's your big idea?
ANDREW YANG: My big idea is a freedom dividend of $1,000 a month for every American adult starting at age 18.
Unlike with President Trump’s business credentials, NBC correspondent Harry Smith touted Yang as “a business entrepreneur turned provocateur who embraces data driven-strategies.” Clearly, Smith was trying to portray Yang as an expert on the matter. “Yang's program, a thousand dollars a month for every American ages 18 and older would be opt-in. People could choose to stick with other social programs. He plans to pay for the benefit with a 10 percent value-added tax on goods and services,” Smith said, making the appeal to voters for the candidate. Of course, Smith failed to point out the obvious. The extra money people were having to pay because of the so-called “value-added tax” was just getting returned to them in the form of “free” money Yang would take credit for giving them. That’s not to mention the laughable “freedom dividend” title. The most critical Smith got was when he asked how the plan would work and Yang's response was that he was going to be president:
SMITH: So, how would it work literally?
YANG: Well, so, the way it works is I become president in 2021. Everyone knows that my big idea was the freedom dividend, so everyone's excited. And I do not need 80 percent of Congress to pass this law. I just need 51 percent.
After hyping a crowd of reportedly 2,500 people clamoring for Yang and his “free” money, Smith parroted Yang’s ridiculous propaganda line. “Giving people money, a freedom dividend. That's Andrew Yang's big idea.” With all of these candidates offering up “free” government benefits (like “free” healthcare and “free” college), it’s like the Democrats are running for class president of a middle school. So far no one has said they’re going to fill the drinking fountains with “free” soda.

On Friday, NBC’s Today show abandoned objective facts about biology in favor of pushing propaganda on “gender fluidity,” all as part of the network’s promotion of gay pride month. Not one word of objection was voiced in the five-minute segment as the morning show touted teens “rewriting the rules of gender” and “educating” their parents.

NBC Props Up Elizabeth Warren's 'Big Idea' Of 'Free' College, Loan Cancelation
Tuesday’s installment of NBC Nightly News’s pre-debate, Democrat propaganda campaign featured Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and her “Big Idea” to “cancel about 95 percent of student loan debt and to make college, technical school, two-year, four-year all fee-free and tuition-free.” As with the previous 10 of these so-called “Big Ideas” from the 2020 Democrat field, correspondent Harry Smith offered no analytical or expert takes on the Senator’s plan, only some weak questions about the policy in which he let her explain the concerns away.
“Warren's plan would cancel up to $50,000 of student debt for 42 million Americans. She also wants free college at public institutions. To pay for it, she would tax welt, two cents on every dollar on fortunes greater than $50 million,” Smith explained to viewers on her behalf. There was nothing offered to explain what canceling roughly $1.5 trillion in student loan debt would do to the finances of federal and private lenders. And viewers were left with only take Smith’s and Warren’s word that her plan could cover the cost of free secondary education for millions of people. (…)

Well, that’s awkward. NBC’s Today celebrated 25 years at Studio 1A in Rockefeller Center on Thursday. The show’s hosts marked the occasion with a snazzy montage full of memories… except for one. Missing completely from the retrospective was disgraced former co-host Matt Lauer. Perhaps it’s not surprising they are trying to erase from history the man known for having a button under his desk that locked women into his NBC office. NBC fired Lauer in November of 2017 after numerous misconduct allegations. Co-host Savannah Guthrie gushed as she introduced the montage: “So, we’re going to start our celebration with a look back at how it all began… For a quarter of a century, our Today home has been studio 1A!”

NBC Ignores Toronto Shooting But Pushes Cory Booker's 'Baby Bonds'
There were some 2 million people crammed into downtown Toronto on Monday to celebrate the Raptors’ championship victory in the NBA finals, when shots rang out in an area containing roughly 60,000 people. Despite at least four people being shot and luckily no deaths, NBC Nightly News decided they didn’t have time to cover that story. But they did have time to promote Democrat New Jersey Senator and 2020 candidate Cory Booker’s “Big Idea” of baby bonds. While CBS Evening News led with the Toronto shooting, NBC began with a shooting at a courthouse in Dallas where there were no injuries and the only person killed was the shooter. NBC was quick to point out the shooter’s use of an “assault-style rifle” and lumped him into the “right-wing”. ABC’s World News Tonight relegated the Toronto shooting to a news brief in their “Index of Other News”.
A few minutes later, NBC anchor Lester Holt boasted about how they were approaching the first Democrat debate of the election season and Booker, who spoke with the network “about his vision to benefit America's next generation.” -- “We met Booker in a section of Columbia, South Carolina, wrestling with the economic realities of America's racial wealth gap. Booker believes baby bonds will be particularly impactful for minority families,” NBC correspondent Harry Smith told viewers after hyping the Senator’s record. (…)

'Strengthen' America: NBC Pushes Liberal Dream To Abolish Electoral College
As NBC Nightly News continued its monotonous drumbeat on Thursday to elevate liberal policy positions ahead of the Democrat debate they were holding, the network gave the megaphone to South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg in order to push for abolishing the Electoral College. Correspondent Harry Smith let Buttigieg freely suggest the country had to “strengthen American democracy” because we were supposedly in an era of deteriorating voting rights. “America over time has grown more democratic and I think that's a good thing, but it's not a one-way street. Sometimes we’ve taken steps backwards,” the candidate opined. “And I’m afraid we’re living through one of those periods. It's becoming harder to vote and harder to make sure that your vote counts.”
Again playing campaign spokesperson for a Democrat, Smith made the pitch for the solution for the candidate. “Buttigieg wants same-day voter registration nationwide, wants to grant statehood to Puerto Rico and Washington D.C., and he says the electoral college has outlived usefulness.” Of course, there was no mention that D.C. was supposed to just be a federal district for federal use and not a state, and was undoubtedly a Democrat stronghold. “Twice in my young lifetime I’ve seen the American people overruled by the electoral college. It's time for that to go because it's undemocratic,” Buttigieg decried (…)

NBC Promotes Kamala Harris' 'Big Idea' To Jack Up The Death Tax
As NewsBusters reported Monday night, NBC News has launched a new report series dedicated to promoting the “big ideas” put forward solely by Democrat 2020 candidates ahead of the debates in a few weeks. Tuesday’s edition of the series followed California Senator Kamala Harris as she campaigned in South Carolina to jack up the death tax to pay for an increase in teacher salaries. NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt flaunted the fact that the series was only open to Democrats looking push their radical policy positions. “[W]e turn now to My Big Idea. Our series giving Democrats running for president a chance to share an idea that they believe separates them from the pack,” he admitted.
Just as he did with Senator Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All plan the previous evening, correspondent Harry Smith aided Harris in pitching the idea to viewers. “Harris says, recent teacher demonstrations across the country are proof a plan like hers is needed. She claims teachers on average make 11 percent less than other comparably educated professionals. So, she wants to give them a $13,500 raise,” he said. Smith did qualify those points as “Harris says” and “she claims”, but there, of course, was no obvious effort to fact-check anything the Senator asserted. He also failed to mention what the average salary for a teacher was and how that stacked up to the average national income of Americans. (…)

Throughout Friday’s Today show, NBC hosts and anchors engaged in climate change hysteria. Humans were condemned for being “greedy and lazy,” accused of making the planet “a tougher place to live.” In addition, dire warnings were issued about Alaska experiencing “an environmental disaster” with residents being “the first climate change refugees in our country.”
The idea that Trump was a religious moralist was more fearmongering by the MSM.
