Jerry Crawford, 25, of Atlantic City, was doing time for burglary. He was allowed to leave South Woods State Prison on November 4, 2020. On November 6, investigators say he and another man shot Davion Scarbrough.

Scarbrough's body was found riddled with bullets and dumped in a field less than half a mile from the prison where Crawford had been imprisoned.

The second man charged in connection with the killing, 23-year-old Yusuf Waites, had been let out of prison less than a month earlier after finishing a sentence on a gun charge.

The early release of more than 2,000 inmates came as New Jersey's prison system logged the highest COVID infection rate and death toll of any state in the nation.

Word of the murder brought sharp criticism from state Sen. Michael Testa, R-Cumberland, who opposed legislation allowing the early release.

"A member of the public is now dead as a direct result of the Murphy administration's dangerous early release policy," Testa said in a statement.

YouTube censors New Jersey Senate hearing about kids' mask mandates

As YouTube continues to censor a wide array of topics, not least those around the Covid pandemic, so it's independent competitors like Rumble continue to attract more creators.

The trend was unbroken last week when Google's video giant censored a video showing a New Jersey Senate hearing on the topic of forcing school children to wear masks, which concluded the policy may be harmful.

New Jersey-based talk show host and former chair of the College Republican National Committee Bill Spadea announced this, accusing the Democratic majority in the state's capital, Trenton, of shunning the official event, and YouTube of eventually "not liking" the content of the discussion, and for that reason removing the video.

However, as Spadea explained, the video can still be found on his new channel on Rumble.

Scientists, doctors, lawyers and senators who chose to participate were there to debate the validity of one of the more controversial topics relating to Covid mandates in the US - masking children.

Like most other rules around masks and their efficacy in preventing infection, these have been changing over the past 18 months - but the consensus seems to be that children are least at risk of contracting and spreading the virus.

However, YouTube's pro-masking, pro-distancing censorship algorithms aren't very sophisticated so it appears that even to this day, even a discussion of the issue, let alone directly opposing the policy of masking children, will get content banned - even if the source is an official gathering of experts and lawmakers.

Spadea himself has little doubt that masks should not be mandated, because after covering the topic for over a year, he sees no proof that masks protect children.

This, however, runs contrary to what the US political and medical establishment thinks, and those doctors and scientists who disagree with official narratives and are willing to speak their mind are also often getting censored by Big Tech - the New Jersey Senate hearing, that concluded forcing children to wear masks could be dangerous, being no different.

Spadea blasted these acts of suppression of information as "the aggressive and immoral efforts of the social media oligarchs," at the same time referring to Rumble as "a sliver of free speech" left out there. (However, Rumble's search function sucks and you can't find this video by inputting the title or subject into it.)

A New Jersey waitress was pulled into a SUV and assaulted after she chased a group of customers that had left a local diner without paying their bill.

The five suspects allegedly walked out on a $70 bill at the Nifty Fifty's restaurant located in Washington Township, New Jersey. Noticing that the suspects were attempting to drive away the waitress ran out and confronted them.

As seen in the video, the woman was then pulled into the vehicle, assaulted multiple times and eventually forced out of the SUV as it was moving.

The victim managed to return to the restaurant and reported the incident to the police. She was later transported to a local hospital and treated for bruising and a possible concussion 🤕

A pair of New Jersey gym owners who have repeatedly defied the "tyrannical" edicts of Garden State Gov. Phil Murphy, who closed gyms as part of the state's COVID-inspired restrictions, told Fox that they have racked up more than $1.2MM in fines for refusing to adhere to the state's COVID-19-related restrictions.

The co-owner of Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, who have appeared in the past on air with Tucker Carlson and others on Fox as libertarians and conservatives opposed to the strict lockdowns rallied to their cause, said that the state and the governor have "thrown everything he possibly could to shut us down."-

Atilis Gym Bellmawr in New Jersey Shows Middle Finger to Gov Phil Murphy

Democratic New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy's COVID-19 restrictions have now resulted in more than $1.2 million in fines to a gym for defying the lockdowns in recent months.

“Governor Murphy has thrown everything he possibly could to shut us down. He has arrested my partner and I, given us over 60 citations, some of them criminal. He fines us $15,497.76 per day for every day we’re in operation. Our fines are totaling over $1.2 million, but every single day, Frank and I open our gym,” Atilis Gym co-owner Ian Smith said.

Gov. Murphy has said the reason for limiting gyms is to stop the spread of the virus, but Smith argues there’s no scientific data to back up this claim.
