2mørVs & Jordan Peterson - Up & Down
___________________________________________________

"A system like Christianity, or any system that's oriented a society for thousands and thousands of years can't simply be eradicated by a casual gesture without consequences ensuing in it's aftermath. What consequences? Nietzsche says: Well, we don't no longer know up and down. What does he mean by that, metaphorically? Well, 'up', that's where you're headed, right? And 'down', that's what you wanna stay away from. And when you eradicate the most fundamental presuppositions of your system of values then there is no up and there is no down; and then, where are you, precisely?"

2mørVs, Jordan Peterson & Friedrich Nietzsche - The Murderers Of All Murderers
___________________________________________________

"Whither is God?, he cried, I shall tell you! We have killed Him, you and I. All of us are His murderers. But how have we done this? How were we able to drink up the sea? Who gave us the sponge to wipe away the entire horizon? What did we do when we unchained this earth from it's sun? Whither is it moving now? Whither are we moving now? Away from all suns? Are we not plunging continuously? Backward, sideward, forward, in all directions? Is there any up or down left?
How shall we, the murderers of all murderers, comfort ourselves? What was holiest and most powerful of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives. Who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we not ourselves become gods, simply to seem worthy of it?"

Marx y Nietzsche: encuentros y desencuentros.

Just a collection of some of my favorite quotes/viewpoints from German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.

2 months, 3 weeks ago

Thus Spoke Zarathustra: A Book For All and None was Nietzsche’s favourite of his creations. It is indeed one of the most fascinating and creative pieces of work in western philosophy.

It presents the journey of Persian prophet Zarathustra, who spends his time in solitude in the mountains for ten years and grows weary of his wisdom, beginning his down-going to humanity to teach them what he has learned.

Zarathustra's principal teachings are: the Übermensch (Overman), the Eternal Recurrence and the Will to Power.

The God is dead theme is most famously expressed in Thus Spoke Zarathustra, although it first appeared in The Gay Science. It is commonly misinterpreted. It refers to a historical event in response to the decline of Christianity with the Enlightenment bringing about scientific rationality, representing a crisis in the existing moral values opening the possibility for nihilism. The death of god theme is prevalent throughout the book.

This video summarises Nietzsche’s On the Genealogy of Morals in 10 minutes. It is among Nietzsche’s most sustained and cohesive works consisting of three essays: “Good and Evil, Good and Bad”, “Guilt, Bad Conscience and the Like” and “What is the Meaning of Ascetic Ideals?”

In the first essay, Nietzsche sets up a contrast between what he calls “master” morality and “slave morality” and shows how strength and actions have often been replaced by passivity and nihilism as well as that the revolt of slaves in morals begins in the principle of ressentiment.

The second essay looks into the origins of guilt and punishment, it shows how the concept of justice was born and how internalisation of this concept led to the development of what people called “the soul”.

In the third and final essay, Nietzsche dissects the meaning of ascetic ideals.

It is not Nietzsche’s intention to reject slave and master morality, internalised values out of hand or ascetic ideals; his main concern is to show that culture and morality, rather than being eternal verities, are human made.

🔑 Key concepts

Pathos of distance, ressentiment, master morality, slave morality, bad conscience, morality of custom, growing internalisation of man “soul”, ascetic ideal, problem of the value of truth.

This video explores Dostoevsky's Raskolnikov presented in Crime and Punishment and Nietzsche's concept of the Ubermensch.

Raskolnikov’s pride separates him from society, he sees himself as a sort of “higher man”, indeed an ubermensch, a person who is extraordinary and thus above all moral rules that govern the rest of humanity, and so he cannot relate to anyone of the ordinary people "the herd", who must live in obedience and do not have the right to overstep the law.

Although it is almost sure that Dostoevsky, who died in 1881, had never even heard the name of Nietzsche. Nietzsche on the other hand, not only knew some of Dostoevsky’s principal works, but actually acknowledged that he regarded him as the only psychologist from whom he had anything to learn.

Nietzsche and Dostoevsky together both had strikingly similar themes, both were haunted by central questions surrounding the human existence, especially ones concerning God. They were both keen questioners and doubters. Both were “underworld minds” unable to come to terms either with other people or with the conditions they saw around them and both of them desperately wanted to create truth.

However, Nietzsche and Dostoevsky take separate paths at the crossroads of illusion. But both understood reality in the same way; both faced reality with the courage of despair. Survival for one meant the embracing of illusion; survival for the other meant ultimately the rejection of illusion.

ealise that there are more ways of looking at the world than you previously acknowledged or of which you were even aware of.

It is closely tied to the figure of the child (the final metamorphosis) and amor fati. For Nietzsche, it is vitally important to understand that the tragic and the comic are not polar opposite, but inter-linked modes of experience.

There are some good reasons to believe that Nietzsche was interested in Eastern philosophy during his lifetime, especially in Buddhism and Hinduism.

Both Hinduism and Buddhism are of interest to Nietzsche not in themselves, but as alternative positions from which to continue his attack on Christianity.

Although Nietzsche considers these philosophies as nihilistic (wrongly), he does indicate their profundity. It seems that he studied this material closely and appreciated it greatly.

Throughout Nietzsche’s books and notes, he refers to different aspects of Eastern philosophy on more than four hundred occasions, and in several of these he claims to be interested in it.

Western civilization is in decline, because its men have been emasculated by existential nihilism. The film "Fight Club" (1999) presents a contemporary interpretation of Nietzschean' philosophy as a cure for this disease.

THE RED ANTICHRIST
by The Czechoslovakian Secret Police

As I walk through the streets of Toronto, playing this work of among the finest and most profound literature ever created by human hands, and beautiful German singing, what I encounter is invariably terrified bigots and aggressive cretins. As I walk past the officer, stationed with city workers, one of the workers mutters “Just try it and see what happens.”

The threat is naked and obvious, when a small and simple mind encounters an idea too great and lofty for his foolish mind to respond to in any sense, while still convinced, wrongly, of the rightness of his groundless position, invariably their next response is to escalate to violence. They are not smart enough to refute the ideas of Nietzsche, nor possessing of anything except the bigotry which prevents them from enjoying a song by Rammstein, so their feeble mind resorts to the next best thing. I will bash in your head and kill you because you disagree with me. You are a nazi, I can tell because you quoted Nietzsche's brilliance and spoke in German, the language of racists, so I will kill you, or beat you until you are brain damaged. Then when you are brain damaged, and finally able to argue on my level, then perhaps I can defeat your brilliant argument. Such is the thinking of the imbecile.

In the minds of these bigots, The German language itself, is evidence of racism. Their entire race and nation is sinful and corrupted, they should be made to speak English, in the name of anti-racism. It matters not, very much, that Rammstein is completely opposed to Nazism in all it's forms, I do not understand the language, it is the language of racists. If you speak that language I do not like or understand, it is my right as an inferior cretinous thug to beat you senseless, until you stop speaking that other language and talk in English. Otherwise would of course be bigotry. You wouldn't want to be a bigot would you? So speak English, your language and race are offensive to me. Such is the mentality of the Canadian bigot, elevated to the highest virtue, in the land of the unfree moron, and home of the coward.

Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher of the 19th century. He is regarded as one of the most revolutionary thinkers in Western philosophy and intellectual history. He was a cultural critic of his era, of traditional European morality and religious fundamentalism, especially of Christianity.

Nietzsche shares his views on how he wants us to perceive the world liberating ourselves from oppressive tradition. The main concepts revolve around self-overcoming, perspectivism, human nobility, the will to power, the eternal recurrence, and the overman.

In the Greatest Philosophers In History series we do an in-depth exploration of the most fundamental ideas and views on life of the greatest philosophers in human history.

This is one of the most accessible of Nietzsche's works. It was published in 1887, a year after Beyond Good and Evil, and he intended it to be a continuation of the investigation into the theme of morality. In the first work, Nietzsche attacked the notion of morality as nothing more than institutionalized weakness, and he criticized past philosophers for their unquestioning acceptance of moral precepts. In On the Genealogy of Morals, subtitled "A Polemic", Nietzsche furthers his pursuit of a clarity that is less tainted by imposed prejudices. He looks at the way attitudes towards 'morality' evolved and the way congenital ideas of morality were heavily colored by the Judaic and Christian traditions.

Jordan Peterson on the belief in God and his reply to Nietzsche's "God is Dead" proclamation, discussing the worries of Nihilism.

Jordan Peterson has been frequently found quoting Nietzsche’s worries about the Death of God in various of his lectures, not a celebratory event but a catastrophic one, symbolising the end of all Judaeo-Christian values that have been known and compiled for millennia, from all kinds of civilizations and that are deeply rooted within our psyche.

It is clear that Nietzsche had deep worries about the consequences of atheism to replace the gap appearing from eliminating the Judaeo-Christian values with another set of solid values. However, he was an atheist and did not ever suggest returning to these values. Nietzsche did not lament the decline of the values, and certainly did not suggest returning to them if possible.

―――Episode 1―――
The panel dives into the very cornerstone of neo-reactionary thought: the Master / Slave Dialectic. Grizzly, WillofR and Dagus run through the history of the concept; starting with Hagel and his pupil Marx, then into the rejection of Slave Morality by Nietzsche and Spengler.

We cover how the Master/Slave concept worked its way into contemporary culture, how this timeless hierarchy plays out in the modern workplace, how Christianity, Communism and Progressive Liberalism share the 'herd instinct', and what you can do to break free of a servile mindset.

It's useful to note Nietzsche abandoned Wagner over Wagner's incurable anti-Semitism. Nietzsche's master Schopenhauer referred to Jews as the scum of the earth and great masters in lying. More than anything else, Nietzsche loved thinking, so taking opposing views was one of his joys in life.

1 year, 7 months ago

Copied from https://youtu.be/22LE-kDS7g4

Rick sums it up at 1 hour 3 minutes. "Who has that kind of money except the Mossad? They were working at Israel's Mossad parlor. A foreign espionage operation inside the United States to compromise, entrap, and blackmail powerful American officials so that they will do whatever the Zionists order them to do." He says the whole government collapses if this corruption is exposed. He continues, "Your children are now prey to be used for the purposes of Israeli Zionism."

I added a new link to the channel description containing valuable information for understanding psychopaths. Here's an excerpt from Robert Hare's book Without Conscience:

"Lying, deceiving, and manipulation are natural talents for psychopaths...When caught in a lie or challenged with the truth, they are seldom perplexed or embarrassed -- they simply change their stories or attempt to rework the facts so that they appear to be consistent with the lie. The results are a series of contradictory statements and a thoroughly confused listener."

The site adds:

"Often, their behavior serves to confuse and repress their victims, or to influence anyone who might listen to the psychopath's side of the story. Manipulation is the key to their conquests, and lying is one way they achieve this."

"One almost amusing example of how psychopaths lie can be exemplified by a man whose footprint was discovered at the scene of the crime. "No, that's not my foot" he said, even though everyone knew he was lying.

This is how psychopaths operate. They will deny reality until their victims have a nervous breakdown. Often, the psychopath will turn on the victim and claim that the victim suffers from "delusions" and is not mentally stable."

If the public is ignorant about psychopathy, then psychopaths will rule the world. That's what we've seen happen. It doesn't have to be like that, however. It's not a given based on natural laws. It's a matter of knowledge.

Knowledge is power isn't just a trite cliche. Scott Roberts is fond of saying the controllers know us better than we know ourselves. They use against us our virtues and they rely on us having grossly insufficient knowledge of who and what they are. They monopolize learning and media to keep at a low level our knowledge and awareness.

Another point to make. Nietzsche's Ubermensch is nothing more than the psychopaths already in control. He began with "Human, All Too human" as a treatise against human nature. The psychopath is without human nature, without morality. It is a wicked, cunning actor preying on humans, using every possible means to ensure victory.

November 22, 2000 - Participating via a satellite connection from Boston, Professor Rosen discussed the life and works of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche for about 54 minutes. One of his books is The Mask of Enlightenment: Nietzsche’s Zarathustra, published by Cambridge University Press.

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (15 October 1844 – 25 August 1900) was a German philologist, philosopher, cultural critic, poet and composer. He wrote several critical texts on religion, morality, contemporary culture, philosophy and science, displaying a fondness for metaphor, irony and aphorism.

Nietzsche's key ideas include perspectivism, the Will to Power, the "death of God", the Übermensch and eternal recurrence. One of the key tenets of his philosophy is the concept of "life-affirmation," which embraces the realities of the world in which we live over the idea of a world beyond. It further champions the creative powers of the individual to strive beyond social, cultural, and moral contexts. Nietzsche's attitude towards religion and morality was marked with atheism, psychologism and historism; he considered them to be human creations loaded with the error of confusing cause and effect. His radical questioning of the value and objectivity of truth has been the focus of extensive commentary, and his influence remains substantial, particularly in the continental philosophical schools of existentialism, postmodernism, and post-structuralism. His ideas of individual overcoming and transcendence beyond structure and context have had a profound impact on late-twentieth and early-twenty-first century thinkers, who have used these concepts as points of departure in the development of their philosophies. Most recently, Nietzsche's reflections have been received in various philosophical approaches that move beyond humanism, e.g., transhumanism.

Nietzsche began his career as a classical philologist—a scholar of Greek and Roman textual criticism—before turning to philosophy. In 1869, at age twenty-four, he was appointed to the Chair of Classical Philology at the University of Basel, the youngest individual to have held this position. He resigned in the summer of 1879 due to health problems that plagued him most of his life.[9] In 1889, at age forty-four, he suffered a collapse and a complete loss of his mental faculties. The breakdown was later ascribed to atypical general paresis due to tertiary syphilis, but this diagnosis has come into question.[10] Re-examination of Nietzsche's medical evaluation papers show that he almost certainly died of brain cancer.[11] Nietzsche lived his remaining years in the care of his mother until her death in 1897, after which he fell under the care of his sister Elisabeth Förster-Nietzsche until his death in 1900.

As his caretaker, his sister assumed the roles of curator and editor of Nietzsche's manuscripts. Förster-Nietzsche was married to a prominent German nationalist and antisemite, Bernhard Förster, and reworked Nietzsche's unpublished writings to fit her own ideology, often in ways contrary to Nietzsche's stated opinions, which were strongly and explicitly opposed to antisemitism and nationalism (see Nietzsche's criticism of antisemitism and nationalism). Through Förster-Nietzsche's editions, Nietzsche's name became associated with German militarism and Nazism, although later twentieth-century scholars have counteracted this conception of his ideas.

A decade after World War II, there was a revival of Nietzsche's philosophical writings thanks to exhaustive translations and analyses by Walter Kaufmann and R.J. Hollingdale. Others, well known philosophers in their own right, wrote commentaries on Nietzsche's philosophy, including Martin Heidegger, who produced a four-volume study and Lev Shestov who wrote a book called Dostoyevski, Tolstoy and Nietzsche where he portrays Nietzsche and Dostoyevski as the "thinkers of tragedy".[235] Georg Simmel compares Nietzsche's importance to ethics to that of Copernicus for cosmology.[236] Sociologist Ferdinand Tönnies read Nietzsche avidly from his early life, and later frequently discussed many of his concepts in his own works. Nietzsche has influenced philosophers such as Martin Heidegger, Jean-Paul Sartre,[237] Oswald Spengler,[238] George Grant,[239] Emil Cioran,[240] Albert Camus, Ayn Rand,[241] Jacques Derrida, Leo Strauss,[242] Max Scheler, Michel Foucault and Bernard Williams. Camus described Nietzsche as "the only artist to have derived the extreme consequences of an aesthetics of the absurd".[243] Paul Ricœur called Nietzsche one of the masters of the "school of suspicion", alongside Karl Marx and Sigmund Freud.[244] Carl Jung was also influenced by Nietzsche.[245] In Memories, Dreams, Reflections, a biography transcribed by his secretary, he cites Nietzsche as a large influence.

Here's an edited recording of me giving a seminar on Nietzsche's philosophy and worldview based on his most widely read work "Beyond Good and Evil". Listen as I redpill these incorrigible normies on the Nietzsche question.

The substance of this recording is around his view of the correct system of social organization and should therefore be considered a part of his political thought, which for reasons of political correctness goes largely unmentioned. The other aspect is his undeniable influence over the genesis of psychology, something which he believed was of enormous importance and indeed dubbed the "Queen of the Sciences."

I believe that Nietzsche's philosophy is mandatory reading for all dissident right wing thinkers, for everyone who rejects the individualism and decadence of modern society, for everyone who believes that modernity and liberal democracy must be destroyed in order for European civilization to prosper. All nationalists should hear the philosophy of the man who rejected the entirety of Christian and modern civilization and all of it's shibbolleths.

Master–slave morality is a central theme of Friedrich Nietzsche's works, particularly in the first essay of his book, On the Genealogy of Morality. Nietzsche argued that there were two fundamental types of morality: "master morality" and "slave morality". Master morality values pride and power, while slave morality values things like kindness, empathy, and sympathy. Master morality weighs actions on good or bad consequences (i. e., classical virtues and vices, consequentialism), unlike slave morality, which weighs actions on a scale of good or evil intentions (e. g., Christian virtues and vices, Kantian deontology).

For Nietzsche, a particular morality is inseparable from the formation of a particular culture, meaning that a culture's language, codes and practices, narratives, and institutions are informed by the struggle between these two moral structures

He says if you're Jewish then it doesn't matter what religion you practice, you're still a Jew.

He says Jews try so hard to fit, but they just don't fit.

"We try to out-goy the goy."

He says Jews have a different reality no matter what they believe. "Even when we take on their religion, it's a Jew practicing their religion."

"A Jew is someone who is religious without knowing it."

"Jews are relating to God even when they are not religious. His relationship to God is not a religion. The king's children need to be loyal citizens? It doesn't apply to them. They don't need to be good citizens to be related to the king."

So a Jew is supernatural, connected to God, a child of God, while everyone else is part of the natural reality. Therefore it makes sense Jews should rule over the goyim.

"Despite the efforts of the entire world to eliminate the Jewish people, we're still here. We don't eliminate because our existence is miraculous to begin with, so what force in nature can undo what is unnatural? The forces of nature can affect nature, not the supernatural."

It sounds like a master race philosophy, doesn't it? Nietzsche posited an overman or a superman and the Jews loved this idea because they believed he was writing about themselves. The Jew-goy concept as Jews understand it seems about an impure human class and a special, set apart godly class. They also loved Nietzsche being anti-German, anti-Christian, and pro-Jewish. He parted with Wagner over his Jew hatred. Nietzsche is popular in modern academia and is cited favorably by The Protocols of Zion.

He says psychopaths despise human beings and think they're stupid. "They don't say anything. They keep it concealed." He also has thoughts to convey about other cultures (in his case the Chinese) hating Americans yet masking it under phony smiles and feigned manners. "They like to dupe you. Every time you give them your money they see it as duping you. The smile they give you is duper's delight. They have a superiority complex where they are entitled to use and abuse you however they like because you are lower than them."

Nietzsche's philosophy exhibits psychopathy where moral human beings are considered beneath the wicked Übermensch.
