The duet was arranged in A minor by Charles Duncan. There's a characteristic rhythmic motif of a quarter note tied to a dotted 8th note, with the final 16th note connecting to the next downbeat; you'll hear that throughout. That's much easier to articulate on the original piano arrangement, since the guitarist's timing from note to note must include synchronization of both the left & right hands attacking the string at precisely the same moment. A pianist, however is performing both parts simultaneously, exposing the mechanical precision requirements for a guitarist & the mental capacity requirements for a pianist - both instruments are very rewarding and enjoyable for performance.
While I was walking and on my way home, I came across a protest that was rather peaceful, non-violent but still stood up for their rights and for what they believed in.
I'm sorry I didn't zoom in to see what the signs said close up, my phone camera couldn't zoom in; but to those wondering why were the vehicles honking so much. One of the signs says "If you agree with us, honk!" So a lot of cars and trucks honked in agreement. It's a protest fighting for the 2nd amendment and for people's gun rights; including freedom of religion, personal freedom and personal choice. I almost got teary watching this and almost cried.

Stop DeWine’s curfew and new restrictions bullshit.
Curfews are a bad idea because reducing the amount of time people can conduct their business means more people have to cram themselves into the same space. What we should be doing is encouraging people to shop, and businesses open, during less active hours and in the middle of the night to stagger arrivals.
We also need to stop DeWine’s ludicrous rules which erode the public’s willingness to abide by the restrictions. There is also the incremental nature of the order and we do NOT want to become the next Michigan.
We should also be spending the Rainy Day Fund on increasing hospital capacity so that people can continue to go about their daily lives.
Do thank him for taking a more balanced approach though.

A Marietta City School parent was detained and arrested during an away middle school football game in Logan.

Ohio mother, Alecia Kitts, is arrested by a member of the Logan Ohio Police Department for refusing to wear a mask while in attendance at a Marietta City Schools football game.
Kitts told the police officer that she suffers from asthma and that wearing a mask could trigger an attack. The officer stated that there are no exceptions and that if Kitts wanted to watch the game she had to mask up.
Kitts refused and was tased prior to being taken into custody. She has been charged with "criminal trespass" and has since been released.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — House Speaker Larry Householder and four other individuals are facing federal racketeering charges related to “a significant conspiracy” case tied to House Bill 6 and the $1 billion bailout it provided to help secure the future of two aging nuclear power plants in Ohio.
A conviction on the conspiracy to commit racketeering charge could carry with it a penalty of up to 20 years in prison, a federal prosecutor said Tuesday.
Federal prosecutors allege that from March 2017 to March 2020, Householder and others received millions of dollars in exchange for help in passing House Bill 6, a billion-dollar bailout that saved two failing Ohio nuclear power plants from closing.
Householder and his co-defendants are also accused working to “corruptly ensure” that HB 6 went into effect by defeating a ballot initiative that sought to overturn the legislation.
The group charged is also alleged to have received approximately $60 million placed with Generation Now, a political operative group, placed there from an energy company and its affiliates during this three-year period.
The four other men charged alongside Householder are lobbyists or GOP operatives. All appeared via video conference in federal court Tuesday.
10 Investigates listened to the hearing.
Those who appeared were: Jeff Longstreth, Neil Clark, Matt Borges and Juan Cespedes. Longstreth has served as an advisor to Householder.
Prosecutors did not request that the men be held in federal custody but did demand that as a condition of their bond, they must turn in or not seek passport, must turn over any firearms they possess, must not have contact with co-defendants and must not travel outside the southern district of Ohio while the case is pending.

Because of the nature of these charges, it will be impossible for Speaker Householder to effectively lead the Ohio House of Representatives; therefore, I am calling on Speaker Householder to resign immediately.
