After it was recently pointed out that all my original songs are a bit dark, I thought I'd write something a bit more light hearted.
Of course, that never worked. So, brace yourselves for another deeply insightful and morbid critique of the 21st century human condition. Are you the 'sheeple' or the 'monkey'? What does the monkey really represent? Are you in the 'West Coast' or 'Underground' and does anything really make sense?
Standard tuning on a Breedlove AC25/SM. Capo on 4th fret. Recorded on my mobile.
Don't miss the finale appearance by The Druid Prince's Cheeky Monkey - he really nails it. I find it helps if you stroke your chin, furrow your brow, nod contemplatively, and, ponder the rich subterfuge...
We've all heard 'Music to watch girls by' (by Andy Williams) so I thought I'd tap into a new growing niche with an original tune. After all, the viewers get the vids and the vids get the views and the world goes round...
As there are no words, you can improvise whatever swearing you like.
In this section I normally include lyrics for my original posts so, for a tune, I'll include some performance pointers. The best way to play this is as follows:
- Stand proud. - Make sure all doors are firmly closed. - Sustain a constant effort, but you'll find this is perfectly achievable. - Don't thump it out, even though it sounds like you should. - Keep your ear open to anything odd happening. - Remember that the minor, discordant sections will shift back to more normal melodic bits once you see them through. - Remember there is always, always more than one discordant section. - Remember to get to the happy, melodic, floating ending. - Don't wring the neck out too hard at the end, even though this seems like the appropriate course of action.
Stick with that lot and I'm sure you'll perform perfectly.
" Kill the niggers in the street bash their' skulls against the concrete ain't that neat? dead niggers at my feet get out of your seat pull the trigger with this beat I'm so cold I turn their blood into sleet then I skate the red ice sheet what a feat! grind the jews up like wheat victory is so sweet my dogs like to eat that jew flavored meat muslims in retreat cowering in defeat bash a spick with a cleat watch those death rates peak what's your kill count? please don't cheat post your picture in a tweet now rinse and repeat. "
After leaving Sanctuary, Vampire Warrior escapes into the underground corridor. Unbeknownst to him, the corridor is full of guillotine traps. V-Dub must avoid the blades in order to make it to the blood river and closer to the invisible tower!

This is music from a new project I call "Vampire Warrior".
This piece is called "Prologue" and is the opening to Vampire Warrior. Sylfel, princess of vampires, uses her gift of telepathy to commune with Vampire Warrior. She asks him to obtain the sword of Illystar, the light sword that can break the evil wizard's barrier that hides his tower from all eyes that see. Sylfel is held prisoner at the top of the spire.
Do you not know me, do you not know me..... I met you at the party last nite. Do you not know me, do you not know me..... I stayed until they turned on the lights. Oh, baby! I can't say! Where we'll be by Monday! But I just want to let you know..... yeah, I just want to let you know.
Here is an elegant, seasoned live rendition performed in 2012 by Composer-Pianist Nobuyuki Mizuoka seven years after he debuted this classic original Christmas song in December 2005.* Video footage and most photographs by A. Kurita; out-of-country stills from Wikimedia Commons.
A studio recording of this song first appeared on Nobuyuki Mizuoka's "Departure" album released in November 2006. Mizuoka-san has a bottomless creative capability that may very well catapult him to great heights as an international-caliber composer-arranger. And how wonderful it would be for that to happen in time for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics!
The unique melodies of Composer-Pianist Nobuyuki Mizuoka are routinely featured in the background music of the TV-Asahi Channel’s weekly 秘湯ロマン (“Hitou Roman” — Hidden Hot Spring Romance) program in Japan: http://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/hitou/ “Hitou Roman” was profiled in Yahoo News Japan in October 2018, the program’s 20th Anniversary Year: https://tinyurl.com/yb6xpa52
