Hey, this Josh Dream Body clinic. The patient you're going to see here did our ozone plus stem cell herniated disc treatment. She came down with her dad who was a referral from one of our past patients who has been coming to us for many years. She's up from the Northwest, like where I'm from.
Her back's pretty messed up. We did an MRI, found out she had a herniated disc and we needed to treat that. Our orthopedic surgeons, we have two of them, the anesthesiologist and the nurses. They get the patient prepped through a Twilight sedation. You're still awake, but out of it, you don't feel anything. Then they go into the disc with the ozone that shrinks the disc and we get rid of that herniation. Then we inject 25 million stem cells into that. Help regenerate it. Then they go into the facet joints, which are kind of like the roots where the nerves come out in the spine and inject there to open up that gap.
Usually people have a bit of cartilage damage like arthritis there. That's kind of closing it, which can cause nerve damage and helps regenerate those nerves. So stem cells send out trophy factors, which guide the neurons to rebuild the nerves and various pains. Terrible I've had SIADH it could be for.
Not fun. It feels like someone's got to catalog to your femur. So it's a really good way to take care of nerve pain in the back. Great way to get rid of the herniated disc, which causes nerve thinks it's pushing on the spinal cord and just general inflammation, pain, all of that can be taken care of and when quick, easy procedure.

Hi this is Josh with dream body clinic. The video you're going to see here is a patient doing our ozone back therapy treatment. With this treatment we work with Dr. Partita. He is an orthopedic surgeon that has worked at the Miami dolphins and the Barcelona soccer team. When working in Barcelona he actually came across this treatment that they've been doing there since the 1980s. When you have a herniated disc they actually go in and put you on a mild sedation, like what we do in the operating room. They then inject right into the disc and put ozone there. The enzymes react with the ozone and shrink the disc. I like to think of it like an ice cream sandwich. You press down on it and ice cream kind of comes up the sides. That's what's happening to your disc with a herniated disc and it starts pushing onto the spinal cord. That causes a lot of pain, a lot of nerve damage, all of these things. In this video, you're going to see a patient that had this treatment done.
We use a big C-arm x-ray and put you under a mild sedation. We're able to go right into the discs that are affected. Some people have just one, some people have multiple. In this case, I believe it was two different disks that were herniated. They were very close to each other. Dr. Partita was able to go into both, put the ozone, shrink it, and while the needle's still in there he's actually able to put 25 million mesenchymal stem cells in each one of those discs. Now what that does is obviously this is going to be a little bit shorter. It's called stenosis because we're shrinking that disc and the stem cells are going to start guiding the regeneration to get that disc back to its proper shape and size.
This is the best way to heal it. There's no other option out there for this. Most surgeries are just going to fuse the spine. Maybe going to cut off a piece of that herniated disc. None of them are perfect solutions. We actually see a lot of patients that have had spinal fusions that still have a lot of pain actually come to us to put stem cells injected locally, to help with that nerve damage. That even works too. But in this case, it's a bit more in depth, a bit more precise and gets your body healing.
They guide the healing, the regeneration, the repair and you go home feeling perfect. Most people three to six months later are feeling a hundred percent perfect. We've got some videos on the site.
