This is it. It's been a hell of a journey. This game was one of the very few to truly move me emotionally. I love the characters and the story and especially the music. The actual gameplay isn't technically all that great, but everything else about this game is so stellar it all makes up for that. I wish I could forget this game just so I can go back and experience it again.
Nearing the home stretch. Still have quite a few monsters to catch up with. It's surprising how small this game is yet how big it still feels. Also I can't believe Napstablook basically just didn't answer the door to the apocalypse XD
It's more like a stroll down memory lane actually.
This game will end eventually. But first I have to make sure everyone is saved. I started to get pretty emotional at the end of the fight here, dunno how easy it is to tell. Then of course I was laughing again, this game is a cruel mistress with your emotions.
A lot of pretty heavy stuff was learned, and I think Chase has a lot of good points about Alphys. She's not the innocent waifu everyone makes her out to be. Watching this again while uploading I like how I immediately react to the refrigerator.
This was actually a nice breather after that last episode. I guess technically the first part of this video is actually the neutral ending but I'm not letting it end here. I'm determined to get that golden ending!
I was seriously unprepared for how this part of the game plays out. I did my best to try and stay unspoiled and I think I did a pretty good job because this fucking blind-sided me. This is probably one of the biggest tone shifts I have ever experienced in a game, from the art style to the music and is one of the thing that solidifies my love for the game as a whole. Also I noticed while editing this that I wasn't in quite as much danger as I thought toward the end. See if you catch what I mean.
"weeks away from Halloween by the time this episode airs" ... it's now May 2016...
I guess this is what happens when you record like 7 hours of gameplay in one sitting... and this is what happens when I can't post as often as certain other let's players. Anyway, things are getting pretty real. It's the final showdown with Asgore.
This is where the story all comes together, And also the reason the last video was a little short. I didn't want to split up me learning the true story. So you get to experience me learning the big reveal uninterrupted.
Sorry about the bass, some of it bled into the mic audio and I couldn't really remove it without the rest of the file sounding weird =/
So I know I said I was doing longer episodes of games after that vlog, but I already edited all of the Undertale gameplay and it would be too much work to go back and re-edit all that. So I will continue to do 2 Undertale vids per week until the end.
