I revisit site of punk rock significance in San Diego’s Coastal North County (Carmel Valley, Encinitas, Carlsbad, and Oceanside). I start by revisiting a Carmel Valley apartment complex that we ran an early 2000’s punk rock TV show from. Then I drop by the high school where Gimp (No.2) played our first show in the mid/late 90’s (both locations in Carmel Valley). After than, I drive up the 5 freeway to Encinitas where I revisit a couple of record shops (a music trader and the iconic: Lou’s Records). Then I cruise up the coast on the coast highway and stop at Spin Records in Carlsbad and then an old punk rock bar that Gimp played once. Along the way, I also stop at The Panniken coffee house (where Jason Mraz used to perform) and I catch a live band play at a brewery event in Oceanside. Oh, and since I was in Oceanside, I stopped at the Top Gun house too.

I revisit punk rock music venues of the 90’s and early 2000’s in San Diego’s north eastern county (Escondido, San Marcos, and Vista). I find two venues in downtown Escondido and then the site of Escondido’s Music Trader location. After that, I revisit an abandoned ice rink where I once played a show. Then I drive west to San Marcos where I visit the Guitar Center where I got my second drum set. And finally, I keep driving west to Vista where I revisit the site of the demolished Vista Entertainment Center (a bowling alley building that used to have a small room in the back where people put on their own punk and hardcore shows).

I revisit some 1990’s and early 2000’s punk/rock/ska/alternative music venues and record stores of the I-8 corridor (College Area, La Mesa, and El Cajon). Some of these venues include a gas station and a coffee house that were both on the same block on Collage Ave., an 18+ venue that was called Venus Nightclub in La Mesa, the former Soul Kitchen in El Cajon as well as former Music Trader locations throughout. I also stop by the legendary Doubletime Recoding Studio in El Cajon (which is still there) and a couple Guitar Center locations.

I tour punk/rock/alternative music venues of the Uptown area of San Diego (meaning: Mission Hills, Hillcrest, North Park, South Park, City Height, Normal Heights, Kensington, etc.). It’s no longer the “upper” part of the San Diego city limits but it was about a hundred years ago. I revisit music venues and record stores that no longer exist like The Empire Club and Off-the-Record (where Nirvana played an in-store performance). I also visit current music venues like The Observatory, Queen Bee’s, Til-Two Club, Happy Battle, The Tower Bar, Soda Bar, and record stores like TAANG and M-Theory (as this area has become the center of music and art in recent years).

The musicians deciphered the word 'Waterfall' (Vodopad, Водопад) as the abbreviation "Verkhotursk Society of Moronic Renegades: Pakhaluev, Aptekin, Demin".
Completely schizophrenic texts - at the same time quite satirical and funny, although serious topics were also raised - drugs, alcoholism, the war in Afghanistan, etc. The group was known throughout the Soviet Union, the guys performed at many rock festivals.
