PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/Kills_Alone MAP: A Quick One Before Azathoth Devours Fodrian by skacky "Originally started as an entry for Quoffee's fourth episode which featured an Elder World theme. I went over the two hour limit and decided to polish and release the map. It's id1-sized and should take you about 5 to 10 minutes. Don't expect a masterpiece.
Dusk Linux Mint 17.3 64bit. Nvidia GT 730 (900MHz) graphics, with 340.107 Linux driver. Recorded using SimpleScreenRecorder, which is free but stutters the framerate a bit.
Dusk is currently on Steam and coming to gog.com (DRM-free) for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Dusk's graphics, play mechanics, and atmosphere are heavily influenced by Quake of 1996. Here is E1M3 thru E1M7. More powerful weapons become available, tougher enemies are introduced, and environments become more diverse.
Playing as Doomslayer with Quake 2, Quake 4, Doom 2016, Half-life 1 & 2 enemies in a playthrough of one of my favorite level wad, Southern Cross. By the same person who made Project: Slipgate, Dark 7 and Dissolution.
This is the WRATH: Aeon of Ruin, a new 3D Realms and 1C Entertainment FPS, reveal trailer. It's presented as "a hard-core first person shooter, powered by the legendary Quake-1 Tech. Crafted by the hands of Quake-scene necromancers, WRATH is the real deal. You will not survive..."

7/10 Old school meets new in a pleasing gunshot to the face
*PLEASE NOTE: Recently it was announced there will be changes to Quake Champions monetization. Apparently they'll be ditching the loot boxes for a battle pass set up, the review was written just before the news broke so it couldn't be included the video

Qualquer coisa, eu gravo outro.
Playing Quake 4 with a Wiimote. Using a modified version of MoltenGamepad for interfacing with the Wiimote. One death towards the end and getting stuck for a few minutes because bugged button mechanics dood.
Evidently some people cannot enjoy a video of gameplay if it has commentary. I have no idea way. I think it is usually better if there is commentary, but whatever. Here me playing the first two levels of the new episode of Quake without commentary. I beat them a lot faster this time.
I was going to put together a video to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Quake. Originally, I was just going to do a one off Let's Play video of me playing the original game, either via the Dark Places mod or through GL Quake. I changed my plans yesterday, though.
Machine Games, the company that made the excellent Wolfenstein: The New Order (A game that I would highly recommend all of you play) decided to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Quake in a different manner. They decided to release a brand new episode for the original Quake. That's right. They created a whole new set of levels. IT is completely free to download and easy to get running. Here is a link to where you can download the levels for yourself. Enjoy
Hellbound is a first-person shooter from the independente Saibot Studio that focuses in fast-paced action and gore, quite in the vein of Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem 3D, blood and other great names of the genre. The game features more modern graphic and gameplay resources next to the classics that consecrated the FPS on the '90s, but preserves the elements that promote, unequivocally, an old school setting and style.
This video was recored with footage from the Hellbound Closed Beta, where the protagonist, some gigantic and quite hypertrophied dude, faces hordes of demonic monsters in an infernal landscape that is located around a circular, island-shaped, area. The game mode depicted here is survival and who was kind enough to record the gameplay for the Gaming Room channel was RiboZurai.
