This is the true story of the murder of little Mary Phagan by Leo M. Frank, her superintendent at the National Pencil Company; Leo Frank's lynching by outraged citizens after his death sentence was commuted; and the century-long effort by Frank's Jewish co-religionists to exonerate him, ending with his pardon in 1986 by the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles--which specifically refrained, however, from exonerating Frank.
In spite of the fact that the author Mary Phagan (now Mary Phagan Kean) is the great-niece of little Mary Phagan, and naturally has strong emotions about the case, this book contains the most balanced account of the case so far, as Ms. Kean has gone back to the complete trial record, and studied it extensively. She corrects the false statements that are used in most accounts to convince readers or viewers of Frank's innocence, while acknowledging that it it impossible to know with 100% certainty that Frank was the murderer.

Everyone is at different places in their walk, but we can all meet in His word. Some struggle to read the Bible for various reasons, some have no one to read the Bible with or do study with. I pray this provides a meeting place for believers to come together in mind, heart and soul- truly seeking Him and His Word. God Bless
Bible versions: I am reading the NASB1995 version. I also frequently read from other versions like the nkjv, esv, kjv, tlv , etc. With the modern tools we have with free Bible apps, we can easily do a verse comparison that would show the differences between each version of the bible. Often you will find it is only a word that is different. You can then use the strongs concordance which can take you back to the original hebrew or greek word and you can further break down the meaning of that word. I use the strongs concordance often. I am more than grateful for all the advances and what we have at our fingertips today, I can say we have no reason to not study His word and know it.
I will not get into arguments that the Kings James version is the only true version. If that is what you want to use, stick with it, but for others who dont naturally speak in old english the 'thee and thou and thus' language can be confusing and the meaning can be lost. So it is more important that you want to know and study His word. Use one that you can read and understand and that you like and once you know His word if you want to go deeper, do verse comparisons, study the background of the bible versions and go from there.

Everyone is at different places in their walk, but we can all meet in His word. Some struggle to read the Bible for various reasons, some have no one to read the Bible with or do study with. I pray this provides a meeting place for believers to come together in mind, heart and soul- truly seeking Him and His Word. God Bless
Bible versions: I am reading the NASB1995 version. I also frequently read from other versions like the nkjv, esv, kjv, tlv , etc. With the modern tools we have with free Bible apps, we can easily do a verse comparison that would show the differences between each version of the bible. Often you will find it is only a word that is different. You can then use the strongs concordance which can take you back to the original hebrew or greek word and you can further break down the meaning of that word. I use the strongs concordance often. I am more than grateful for all the advances and what we have at our fingertips today, I can say we have no reason to not study His word and know it.
I will not get into arguments that the Kings James version is the only true version. If that is what you want to use, stick with it, but for others who dont naturally speak in old english the 'thee and thou and thus' language can be confusing and the meaning can be lost. So it is more important that you want to know and study His word. Use one that you can read and understand and that you like and once you know His word if you want to go deeper, do verse comparisons, study the background of the bible versions and go from there.

Here are some articles and studies on king Herod and the time Joseph, Mary, and Jesus fled to Egypt - most show around 3 years- scripture tells us 1,260days (revelation 12:6). There are 2 "woman" in revelation in which this references, both show a period of safety for 3.5 years, or 1,260days. I believe this first set (revelation12:6 show Mary fleeing with Jesus during the time of Herod when satan tried to have Jesus killed), the second "woman" could symbolize the church or Israel for a future time that God will prepare a place of safety during the end times/tribulation period.
As there is question and speculation between theologians and historians on Jesus actual date of birth, there is also on how long this stay (prepared place of safety) was as well. Study/ research for yourselves and take it to the Lord to see what He reveals to you.
