#reconciliation

Just as God created all things, He has reconciled all things to Himself. That doesn’t mean that all will be saved, but rather that Christ’s sacrifice at the cross made peace, making it possible for us to become friends of God instead of enemies. From that moment on, a change began to occur in those who hear and respond. This change is not merely a disposition of an individual, nor their legal relationship to God, but a total state of his or her life!

Pastor Melissa Scott exposed the truth about God Reconciled All Things to Himself.

Colossians 1:1-28 King James Version

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

7 As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

8 Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Reconciliation (Pastor Charles Lawson) Sunday (Morning) Preaching: Nov 29 2020

God Has Reconciled Himself to Man. God Also Redeems Those Who Reconcile Themselves to Him. The Lost Man is One Who Has Not Reconciled Himself to God. Devices of Satan and Evil People, God Turns to His Own Purpose. Regardless of the Circumstances, It Does Not Change Who God Is. Scripture: II Corinthians 5:17-21

Romans 10:9-10 King James Version (KJV)

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Track - Racial Reconciliation
Music - Mossart Music
Speaker - Dr. Voddie Baucham

We don't have to achieve racial reconciliation, it exists. It is a reality that we must walk in, but it has already been accomplished in Christ. In this session, Dr. Voddie Baucham unpacks Ephesians 2:10-11 to show the sufficiency of Christ's death on the cross to bring us near in perfect reconciliation.

In recent years we have a growing concern about “social justice.” What is meant by that phrase, however, varies widely among those who use and promote it. What is too often missing—even in the calls for “social justice” coming from Christian leaders—is a clear understanding of biblical justice. Justice exists because God is just and righteous. He is the One who defines justice and He has revealed what true justice is in the Bible.

Since 2013, Lorraine Day, M.D, has been poking me in the eye, but in a great way. The first time she came to the show, I learned a lot about healing the body God’s way. Now, both in The Classroom and through the New Truths Series: Book of Revelation Bible study, she has become my mentor. Dr. Day is back to share how we can stop self-sabotage and learn how to truly reconcile.

Clean Cut; Episode 140
What are the main arguments against the sacrament of confession? Are there any good responses to those arguments? Is Reconciliation mainly an act of human beings, or of God?
All well-reasoned comments welcome.

If you're new to the series, I hope you'll check out the previous episodes, as they contain a lot of deductions, which I'll be building on.

Clean Cut; Episode 139
What kinds of things can make the sacrament of Reconciliation invalid or ineffective? What do we need, to make a good confession? Can the priest ever reveal what he hears in confession?
All well-reasoned comments welcome.

On Sunday, 9/15/19, I spoke at Word of Life Chapel in Bainbridge, PA, for their discipleship time/Sunday school and worship service to talk about conflict resolution, boundaries, and reconciliation. Here's the talk from the worship service . . . about reconciliation both with God and other people. I also tie in gender differences and theology of the body.

#BiblicalConflictResolution #Reconciliation #GenderWar #HealthyRelationships

Thank you so much to Word of Life Chapel and Pastor Mark for the opportunity to share. I hope it was helpful to you all.

A point I forgot to mention is that Big Frog Mountain is the highest point in the area. There is nothing visible that is higher, and heading west, there is nothing as high until you get to Texas.

While this is personal it is set as an example of what Christian brothers are called to do in seeking reconciliation. It is serious and not fluff. It is set before you to offer an example and encouragement. May you find the joy of reconciliation!

The AP has recently reported about the torture in Yemen with US involvement. I mentioned this over a year ago, so it is being more publicly released.

Luke 13:24 "Strive to enter in through the narrow door; for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able."
New original Christian song I recently wrote, addressing another layer of fake snow in the Church today.
